Andreotis Hotel Apartments

Fantastic room,super clean,pool area relaxing and cosy beds to relax on.location brilliant, janye on the pool bar was a lovely lady,we looked forward to seeing her,her ice coffee are the best,janye is the best at her job. Would return again in the future.

We arrived at this hotel early hours. We were given our room key by the security guard, then he got out of his seat and pointed in the direction where our room was. When we entered our room ( located in the bungalows) there on the wall was the biggest cockroach I have ever seen! My hubby threw it outside. Then there was another and another! We had 10 crawling in our room to be exact! We went back to reception and asked for a different room. To be told to come back at 7am when the receptionist would arrive. So reluctantly we returned back to the room ,this was at 3am. Couldn't get any sleep , then went back to reception at 7am to be told to come back again at 9am when the cleaner would know how many rooms were coming empty. So I asked the lady why she didn't know this information as she sat at her computer screen! We were really fed up by this time and as we were still in the clothes we had travelled in, we got changed into our swimwear. As soon as we entered the pool the receptionist shouted us to go look at another room. This room was in a different Bungalow on the 2nd floor. So we agreed to swap rooms , only to be charged 50 Euros for the exact room we had just left. We do understand that Cockroaches E.T.C are in this hot country, But not to the extent that we experienced. We did offer to pay extra for a renovated room , but got told the Hotel was full. Even though I heard the lady offering a superior room to someone on the phone. I was in touch with our travel agents and even she could not understand why they had charged us? They have renovate the main building of this hotel, but Not the Bungalows. Which are very dated and really need doing up. We had just a square pan with a dirty shower curtain. The quarry tiles were disgusting, all faded and worn. The patio furniture was very dirty. So if you are going to this hotel, make sure you book a superior room. Now we were half board, you had to go to C'J'S restaurant which was right next to the hotel. The food was amazing here and the staff very friendly and welcoming. The location is about 5 minute walk to the strip. And the beach is quite near as well. Cyprus is a lovely place to visit. But we will Never Ever go back to this Hotel.

Good location and near to strip, bar across the street. Atmosphere relaxed. Paid for air conditioning but not too expensive for the week. Family of 5ppl split in two rooms, a larger room for 3 and standard for 2. The larger room (superior) was a bungalow on top floor, had no help to carry suitcases to 3rd floor and apartment was very tired looking. Air conditioning wasn’t very efficient for the room. Lots of ants entering room. Second room (standard studio)was a re furnished apartment and lovely. The air conditioning worked fabulously and seemed a larger room altogether. Thought it very unfair that 3 members had to stay in the old room and 2 in a new apartment and all paid the same amount of money to stay there. Value was good if you land on a new apartment only. Cleaners changed towels every other day but tidied every day. Only got 1 bath towel and 1 face towel each for 2 days. Not too much noise, was near main road but not too bad. Service at Cj’s restaurant which is attached was good and the food was lovely. Few of the waitresses looked fed up and complained they were not very happy there. Think they needed support from their employers more! Otherwise a lovely place to eat. Lots of entertainment around the pool and music was great. Lovely pool area and nice quality sun loungers. Overall a good holiday, would stay in hotel next time as we like to have equally nice rooms. 3 star experience and good if you just want a base to explore locally.Bus takes you straight to Ayia Napa and water world.
