Anastasia Beach Hotel

Unfortunately, the hotel doesn't deserve to be called a 4-star hotel. What you see in the photos and description bears little resemblance to reality. The hotel and all the surrounding infrastructure (garden, water park) are very worn out by time, it's clear no one cares. The food deserves praise, it's good, there wasn't anything we didn't like, and there was a wide selection. At lunch and dinner, the staff took our drinks orders, a nice idea, but with larger crowds, we sometimes received our drinks practically at the end of the meal.

The rooms are dirty, some of the cabinets are damaged, and the cleaning staff doesn't do much cleaning. At most, they make the bed, take out the trash can, and take the towels to wash because they won't bring new ones. You have to ask reception for fresh ones. The sink was dirty upon arrival and stayed that way until we left. There is air conditioning in the room, but what good is it if it reeks of mold when you use it? Luckily, we were on vacation in October, so we didn't need to use it. Although we still got a better room, judging by what our friends had, it was even worse.

There were supposed to be activities for children, but there wasn't. I couldn't find any playgrounds on the hotel grounds or in the immediate vicinity, so the kids were unfortunately bored most of the time outside the water park. Unfortunately, the water park wasn't very pleasant either, as the pools were freezing cold. The nearest entrances to the water park are closed, so you have to walk around to get to it. When I asked for at least one passage to be opened, they refused, as it belongs to a restaurant. I don't know how anyone can recommend this hotel to families with children when there's practically nothing for children here: no playroom, no entertainment staff, nothing. The evening entertainment was at the hotel next door, which I think is a good option. The nearest beach is right next to the hotel, and it's mostly empty because everyone prefers to walk a bit further to a nicer beach. Sunbeds on the beaches are paid, as is the case throughout Cyprus, and that's also worth knowing. The hotel is located on the outskirts of town, so it's more peaceful and quiet than noisy. The city is a 30-minute walk or a short bus ride away.

I don't recommend this hotel; don't come here; it's better to look elsewhere for a similar price. Honestly, my vacation in Egypt was cleaner and more well-maintained than here. Filthy, dirty, and a nightmare.

The hotel is old and in desperate need for a revamp. Rooms are nothing like the picture shows. Food is not good, was half bord and gave bad stomach most nights. They seem to employ staff from out of cyprus so obviously paying low salary. Would I visit again, not a chance.

A true gastronomic paradise right on the seafront! 🌊🍽️ The Anastasia Beach Hotel is a place you’ll want to return to! We were looking for a cosy hotel by the sea, and ended up with an unforgettable experience of the local cuisine as well. The food here is simply incredible! Every meal turned into a little celebration: a huge selection of dishes, an excellent choice of fish and meat, and the roasted vegetables and sauces were simply to die for. We were delighted that there was always ripe, juicy fruit and a great selection of sweet treats to go with our coffee. And having lunch or dinner with a sea view is a real treat in itself! Thank you to the hotel team for the cleanliness, the hospitality and such delicious breakfasts, lunches and dinners. I wholeheartedly recommend it
