This family hotel is located just a 1-hour drive from Larnaca International Airport and only 100m from the most popular sandy beach of Cyprus. The advantage of being so close to the sea is complemented with the proximity of a number of shops, restaurants and transports hubs. The spacious guestrooms are decorated in a traditional Cypriot style and have private balconies with superb views of the Mediterranean Sea or the lush garden. For a break from the beach fun, guests can take a dip in the hotel pool, where they can have a refreshing drink from the bar. In the evening, the “Symposium” restaurant serves delicious local and international dishes in an elegant cosy setting, complete with live music.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We stayed at Anais Bay Hotel last month and overall had a lovely, relaxing holiday.
Positives:
Negatives:
While we enjoyed a peaceful and relaxing break, we would not choose to return.
For dining, we highly recommend Fresh House and Nissiotis for both food and service.
Directly opposite Anais Bay are some fantastic apartments where non-residents are welcome to use the bar and restaurant. The food is excellent, the staff are wonderful, and we found ourselves visiting there frequently during our stay.
We also highly recommend the mountain excursions, particularly the village tours and halloumi-making experiences, which were a real highlight of the trip.
We stayed here for 2 weeks in May 2026, we had a lovely holiday, great hotel, spotlessly clean, lovely staff. Nice pool area, never had a problem getting a sunbed. Close to shops bars and restaurants. Great friendly staff, we will be back
We are here currently and have no complaints We are in the hotel which is a lovely building not like the concrete blocks around us of other hotels. Breakfast is adequate and staff are friendly. Room is modern and clean. We are very close to beach and you can walk in to Protaras along the very lovely coastal path passing by some lovely beaches and bars. Bus stop at top of road and for 2 euro you can travel anywhere. You do need the be up early if you want to secure a sunbed but we don’t lie in the sun all day. We have had an hour by both pools (one is by the apartments) later on in the day and both were very pleasant. We did ask to view an apartment which was clean and adequate and I feel the pool by the apartments is better for children. We had one meal at snack bar which was very good. All in all very happy we booked here and VGVFM
Hotel is lovely and clean. The sea view was absolutely stunning. Staff so friendly. Breakfast really nice. The hotel decor fits in with the style of the hotel. The family are really friendly. You can walk into Protaras along a coastal path which is a really lovely walk, maybe try not to do heat of the day. The buses are really reliable. We went into Ayia Napa on the bus in the evening and so easy to get there and back. Would really recommend hotel for a relaxing holiday.
First the good points the weather was fantastic .Now the bad points got to this place at around midnight the manager said that these rooms were recently refurbished but they were of poor standard .There were still people in the pool . Pool supposed to close at 6 got to our room and couldn’t believe how basic it is a separate toilet and shower and a wash basin next to the bed no drawers or cupboards anywhere to put your stuff except for a small wooden rack we had to leave most of our stuff in the suitcases . There is a small fridge a microwave toaster kettle 2 hobs plates cutlery saucepan small glasses and a small sink no work top at all to make food . The shower leaks out from the door onto the tiles every time you shower so it’s very slippery and dangerous the towels are so shabby and thin you can almost see through them the bed is just a mattress on a wooden slab which is very hard with ants turning up every now and then a tv with one British news channel the patio area there were cats there every morning there were people in the pool most nights till after midnight the place was like a rough council estate we will never come here again so depressing
