- Sveltos Hotel

This wonderful hotel boasts a stunning setting in Larnaca, lying just 280 metres away from the beach. The property is a great option for travellers who are eager to completely relax and unwind. This hotel enjoys a modern style, with Greek influences. The guest rooms feature fresh, bright decor, offering a peaceful space in which to completely unwind. Guests can enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool, or simply lie back and admire the beauty of the surroundings. Those who like to keep active when away can partake in a game of tennis or volleyball. Guests can enjoy the themed nights and barbeques hosted by the hotel.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Located within a serene area on the edge of Larnaca, the Sveltos Hotel provides guests with a sophisticated accommodation that is just 200 metres from the idyllic Cypriot coastline; it's also in easy reach of nearby cultural attractions, shopping boutiques, restaurants and quirky cocktail bars.
Stayed here for 4 nights Wednesday to Sunday. Hotel was fantastic as were all the staff. Check in was brilliant and speedy and the hotel itself is very well presented. There is a small shop on site selling necessities. Our room was impeccably clean and there were always fresh towels and room service daily. The pool are was well maintained and never overcrowded. There was a bar and food service that operated to the sun beds. The occasions we ate at the hotel the food was a really good quality with lots of choice on the menu. The only negative of the hotel is that location is surrounded by roadworks at the current time. Therefore walking to nearby restaurants wasn’t always as easy as it would be without the roadworks. There is free parking at the hotel and free towels for the pool area. For the price we paid the hotel was absolutely superb and we would 100% stay there again.
I cannot recommend SVELTOS Hotel enough! From check-in to check-out, the service is always impeccable. The staff took the time to ensure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. The cleanliness of the hotel and the quality of the food were outstanding. It was my 5th stay here. I will never stay elsewhere from now on. I was gutted when I fractured my ankle last week and SVELTOS hotel had no rooms available for me to stay longer. This hotel is a gem! Thank you to all the lovely ladies at reception and the lovely gentleman “the night owl” in the evenings there at the reception. And a big thank you to Theodora & Christina for being so helpful the night my fall happened and helping to get my suitcases to my friends house 🤗
We stayed for only two nights, but we will definitely come back. The hotel was even better than we expected. The room was in great condition and smelled very fresh – nothing like that typical old hotel smell.
The location was perfect for us – in a quiet area, very close to the motorway and not far from Larnaca. There is also a great car park, which was very convenient. Breakfast was tasty and had everything we needed.
The staff was very friendly, especially the blonde lady who was always greeting us with a smile 🙂
It was very quiet in February, which we really appreciated. We also stayed three nights in an all-inclusive hotel in Paphos, but honestly, we preferred Sveltos Hotel much more because it was calmer and more relaxing.
We will definitely come back next time we visit Cyprus. Great value for money!
I had a stay booked at this hotel for Tuesday 3rd – Thursday 5th March 2026, with booking terms as flexible/cancellable until 72hrs before check-in. Early on Monday 2nd March there was a drone attack at RAF Akrotiri, leading to short-notice cancellation of my Tuesday morning flight BA2784 from Gatwick to Larnaca, meaning that inevitably I would be a “no show” for the stay. Presumably the hotel was well aware of the drone attack from news coverage but, regardless, I informed the hotel of my disrupted travel as soon as the flight was cancelled on Monday evening. In the message I asked for “understanding in exceptional circumstances” hoping for some flexibility, e.g. rearrangement or rebooking. Their reply, in summary, said “your problem, not ours”, and indeed I have been charged the full amount for the two night (non)stay. It is worth noting at this point that Hilton, IHG, Marriott, Accor and properties from other hotel groups have all extended flexible policies in regard to the current conflict centred around Iran, even for erstwhile inflexible bookings (e.g. discounted; pre-paid; etc.). A week later [9th March], after the literal and metaphoric dust had settled with no further attacks directed at Cyprus and with flights returning to normal, I further messaged the General Manager at the hotel to enquire if they would like to reconsider their initial stance prior to review. I received only a brief and rather bizarre reply, not from the General Manager but from the “Reservations Department”, stating: “Please note we cannot discuss this matter under threats and intimidation” In reply, I pointed out that facts are neither threats nor intimidation, they are simply facts, and I was providing the hotel with an opportunity to state their position. The Sveltos Hotel has failed to respond. So, one star out of five for “a contract is a contract” even when ordnance is falling, but if you prefer hospitality served with a measure of goodwill and understanding then book with Hilton, IHG, Marriott or Accor (and others) instead.
From the lovely receptionist, excellent food..everything..one of the best for facilities, friendliness,cleanliness....a true hotel in the sense of what a hotel should be....highly recommend
