The hotel is situated in the tourist area between Larnaca and Dhekelia. It lies on the beach, offering guests a magnificent view of Mediterranean Sea. Surrounded by numerous venues, it offers something for everyone. Larnaca International Airport is approximately 10 km from the hotel. Facilities onsite include a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility and a hairdressing salon. Rooms come with either a double or a king-size bed, as well as a balcony or terrace. There are both inside and outside swimming pools, tennis courts, a sauna and a Jacuzzi. An entertainment programme is also available for guests of all ages. Breakfast and dinner are served in the form of a lavish open buffet in the main restaurant.

A wonderful stay at a friendly and magnificent seaside hotel
Incredible as it may sound, with the single expression of the pandemic year, we have been visiting this hotel for well over twenty years - perhaps nearer twenty-five, and it is always a great privilege and a blessing. It is a magnificent place, with large, light and airy spaces, comfortably and tastefully furnished, with many areas ideally designed for socialising and conversation over a cup of iced coffee or other refreshments with friends. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, most with sea views, and all with tea- and coffee-making facilities - allowing one the peculiar pleasure of sipping one’s cup of tea from one’s balcony whilst gazing upon the sea. (The sea and the hotel’s own swimming pools are close by, and are very clean and very safe indeed. I myself enjoyed an early morning dip before breakfast every day.) In addition there are several areas in the hotel, indoors as well as outdoors, where one may order light refreshments, ice cream and the like. There are several good restaurants and shops across the road, or one may if one wish enjoy a delicious light evening meal at the hotel itself. Most evenings have pleasant entertainment after supper - with live singers or pianists, Cyprus folk dancing, and - for me a definite highlight - wine tasting with Christina and Christophoros. Indeed, the quality - friendliness as well as professionalism - of the staff is an even bigger asset at the Sandy Beach hotel, and we always look forward go saying hello to them. All in all, I recommend this hotel very highly indeed, and very much hope to return next year if at all possible.

The hotel is lovely, meets all needs. The staff is really helpful and charming. Was attentive to all needs. We had a problem with the room and the housekeeper made sure to move several rooms with us until my daughter was satisfied. They let us leave the rooms later and considered all our needs. Highly recommend
Calm and comfortable hotel
Located in Pyla, Dekelia, this hotel is amazing! Very clean and comfortable, providing great amenities, right on the beach, we loved our stay here! Calm atmosphere, impeccably clean, lovely staff! The rooms are cozy and nice, great pillows, nice view! Good value for the money! Good breakfast! We are definitely going to be back soon!
Best Hotel Ever!
Just came back from Sandy Beach Hotel, and it was trully amazing. Great hotel, beautifull pulls and beach, so clean and all people so kind and pleasent, and we are greatufull to all members of amazing stuff, from Reception to cleaning ladies. But beside that all, we must emphasized how truly we were blessed with knowing Andy from the restaurant. He is hart and soul of this hotel. So cheerfull, pleasent, polite, always with smile and kind words, always there to help, to ask if you need anything, proffesional to his core, never crossing the line of privacy, but always more then pleasent, this man is living for this jobe. People are coming back because of him in this hotel, because he makes feel like you came to stay with family you like. We hoppe he is realy, realy good paid, for his commitment to his mission in this hotel. We have got no complains and are truly amezed with this hotel. Recomended to all our friends and familie. Thank You Sandy Beach for wonderful stay!
Solo trip in June 2026
I recently stayed at Sandy Beach Hotel and overall had a very enjoyable stay.
The hotel's biggest selling point is its fantastic beachfront location. It is right on the beach, with beautiful swimming pools and plenty of sun loungers available throughout the day. The hotel is also spotlessly clean, both in the rooms and the public areas.
The staff were wonderful—friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. The hotel has a smaller, more personal feel than some of the larger resorts, which created a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
The rooms were equipped with a kettle, tea and coffee facilities, complimentary toiletries, and bottled water was provided at meal times. Snacks such as sandwiches and pastries were available at certain times during the day.
There were a few downsides. The TV was quite dated and, during my stay, there were no English-language channels available. The air conditioning also felt a little old and could do with an upgrade. The hotel is dog-friendly, which may suit some guests, but wasn't something I personally liked. I arrived after midnight so there was a salad in my room for me
A useful tip for future guests is that it may be worth comparing prices, as I found it cheaper to book through a third-party provider. There is also a convenient shop directly across the road for any essentials.
Overall, Sandy Beach Hotel offers excellent value, a fantastic beachside location, lovely pools, very friendly staff, and a clean, comfortable environment. I would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing holiday.
