The hotel is situated in the tourist area between Larnaca and Dhekelia. It lies on the beach, offering guests a magnificent view of Mediterranean Sea. Surrounded by numerous venues, it offers something for everyone. Larnaca International Airport is approximately 10 km from the hotel. Facilities onsite include a hotel safe, a currency exchange facility and a hairdressing salon. Rooms come with either a double or a king-size bed, as well as a balcony or terrace. There are both inside and outside swimming pools, tennis courts, a sauna and a Jacuzzi. An entertainment programme is also available for guests of all ages. Breakfast and dinner are served in the form of a lavish open buffet in the main restaurant.

Sandy Beach in it’s full glory
I would like to thank Sandy Beach for demonstrating how they conduct themselves as a 4 star facility
Last night when myself & elderly parents came back to the Lordos hotel from Lefosia at around 1.30am, we arrived & was greeted by some very loud music coming from one of Sandy Beach function rooms parallel with the Lordos
At first I didn’t think too much of it as it was a Saturday night & imagined it would be finished at around 2 however to mine and many people’s disgust this dreadful noise continued until after 6am with what seemed to be getting louder or my patience getting shorter
I am not one to write reviews, however earlier on in the week a group of 5 people had moved from Sandy Beach with nothing but complaints about the food / entertainment/ general service and after experiencing the disrespectful behaviour of the hotel towards it’s own guests and surrounding hotels even after many complaints & the police being contacted nothing seemed to have been able to stop the loud music
So CONGRATS & THANK YOU Sandy Beach for showing yourselves, I can guarantee most that had to put up with it, will not be rebooking at your hotel & those fortunate not to be staying with you, will never recommend you, I reside in North London & am Cypriot . . . therefore your reputation will proceed you

Not worth the money they charge
A beaten up building with a lick of paint. Room toilets are the weakest link. Soundproofing is non existent. Three star hotel. Cherry on the top: absolute lack of respect for the guests when the hotel host a weeding with loud music till 6am - we had no sleep. You choose if this the kind of place to have a few days off.

excellent hotel
We spent 5 days at the Sandy Beach Hotel & Spa in Larnaca, Cyprus. It is an excellent hotel. We had an issue with the room we were assigned, but as soon as we contacted reception, they changed it for us. The service throughout the entire vacation was excellent. The meals were good and plentiful. We would like to give a special mention to Stella, who took care of everything. We are very satisfied. We recommend it. We will definitely be back.

Everything was great, lovelly people,great services,great food and drinks,super view of the sea and the resort, king size bed, and of course the cherry on the cake : private beach with beach bar. P.S. Respect for our Orthodox brothers and sisters from Cyprus. They really know that we are family.

Would absolutely recommend!
We travelled as a family of 4 (myself, fiancé and my in laws) as we had a friends wedding in Larnaca and wanted to make a holiday of it.
Firstly, the staff at this hotel were beyond helpful. Every single member of staff was friendly and approachable. One woman even organised a button hole for the wedding , through a local florist for us. Cannot fault the staff at all. They made our stay very enjoyable.
The hotel was clean and well kept. The facilities were great. We didn’t use the gym or indoor pool, but did go for a look and they both looked well maintained.
The rooms were a great size and having room controlled AC was a great bonus as it was very warm during our stay!
The only reason we didn’t give this hotel 5* is due to the food being very samey - not a huge difference each day. Breakfast rotated the potato (hash brown, sliced, cubed, back to hash brown etc) and dinner didn’t have a huge variation. The food that was served was great - I enjoyed most of the options and there was a lot of option for all eaters (usually a pasta, a meat or 2, veg options and plenty of salad choice).
The location was further out so there weren’t too many attractions nearby but the busses to both Larnaca and Ayia Napa were regular and very cheap. We enjoyed not being in the hustle and bustle so the location suited us well.
Special shout-out to the cats that regularly roamed the hotel - they were adorable. All very friendly and well looked after. Although we did get a small telling off for giving them water on a side plate as some guests didn’t like this… each to their own! We loved the cats, particularly seeing how well looked after they were.
Overall, I would definitely stay at this hotel again and would recommend to anyone going to the Larnaca area.
