Sentido Sandy beach

Extremely rude pool beach attendant - other than that hotel is great - this older gentleman should not work here as his attitude towards guests is uncalled for!!

Incredible as it may sound, with the single expression of the pandemic year, we have been visiting this hotel for well over twenty years - perhaps nearer twenty-five, and it is always a great privilege and a blessing. It is a magnificent place, with large, light and airy spaces, comfortably and tastefully furnished, with many areas ideally designed for socialising and conversation over a cup of iced coffee or other refreshments with friends. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, most with sea views, and all with tea- and coffee-making facilities - allowing one the peculiar pleasure of sipping one’s cup of tea from one’s balcony whilst gazing upon the sea. (The sea and the hotel’s own swimming pools are close by, and are very clean and very safe indeed. I myself enjoyed an early morning dip before breakfast every day.) In addition there are several areas in the hotel, indoors as well as outdoors, where one may order light refreshments, ice cream and the like. There are several good restaurants and shops across the road, or one may if one wish enjoy a delicious light evening meal at the hotel itself. Most evenings have pleasant entertainment after supper - with live singers or pianists, Cyprus folk dancing, and - for me a definite highlight - wine tasting with Christina and Christophoros. Indeed, the quality - friendliness as well as professionalism - of the staff is an even bigger asset at the Sandy Beach hotel, and we always look forward go saying hello to them. All in all, I recommend this hotel very highly indeed, and very much hope to return next year if at all possible.
