Stunning use of old and new architecture

The manager Yiannis informed me about a mistake at the booking and he let us use a single room as 3 people. It's was on a hectic weekend in Larnaca, but he did find a solution. The room was rather small even for two people, but it was beautifully decorated and that made up for it. I really enjoyed breakfast (15€) per person, and I found parking easily. The people who work there love it as if it's their own and the renovation work made is AMAZING. Th3 swimming pool I tried to use but couldn't. It was too hot on the rooftop with not even a single spot of shade.

Great hotel!

A lovely and spectacular hotel in a up and coming neighborhood. It stands out as a baken among the rest of the houses. The welcome was warm and helpful. The room is modern with a nice bed and a good sized bathroom. The swimming pool on the roof is a nice touch and although the views are not as spectacular….who cares? Not me! The breakfast was well put together and served with a smile. All the other complainers who whine about the deposit, I concure with the owner, if you break something you pay. I WILL DEFINITELY COME BACK!

A beautiful property with practically zero WiFi

Very nice, quiet hotel. Affordable, clean, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast is lovely, though it’s a set menu…you get what you get. The hotel is almost everything you want.

My one complaint is the speed of the internet. The download speed is ~4.46Mbps, which is just unacceptable in 2025. I had 6Mbps in my apartment in India in 2009. I would like to see them upgrade their connection to something suitable for this decade.

I have a few more nights in Larnaca and I’ve just booked a room elsewhere because I’m unable to get things done with this poor connection.

I hope to stay here again in the future, but I’ll be calling ahead to see if this has been rectified prior to my booking.

Spooky

ATTENTION!!!! ATTENTION!!!! ATTENTION!!!! ATTENTION!!!! ATTENTION!!!!

If you're looking for a substandard hotel where, after a less than positive review, money is subsequently debited from your credit card for flimsy reasons, this hotel deserves 5 stars and is highly recommended.

But in detail:

I booked the Superior Room for 9 days in June 2025, very, very expensive and without breakfast.

Room: The hole, uhhh, room is small and dark. There are shutters on the outside that can be opened. But who wants to run out of their room half-naked in the morning and open them? And when they're open, anyone can look through the window. This could be solved with brighter lights, but that would be customer service, and that's not encouraged in this hotel. There was also a refrigerator attached to the wall. It could hold two mini water bottles. It just wasn't plugged in and was removed after 5 days. I still don't know why. In such a hot country, warm drinks say it all. Then there's a socket on a small bedside table 1 meter from the bed, where there's also a sinister bedside lamp. If you want to charge your phone overnight, you'll trip over the cable on your way to the bathroom. There's also a safe that can hold a passport and cash, everything is designed for saving money. The highlight is the bathroom. The shower is poorly constructed; it has two glass walls, but is open at the front. After showering, the bathroom floods. I bought a mop to remedy this problem. The bathroom door has no handle from the outside and is always slightly open. Then there's an automatic light switch: if the door is closed, the light goes out after a while. But that doesn't work anymore. So you wake up several times in the night because the light in this haunted room turns on as if by magic. This happens about 3-4 times a night. Sleep is then of course impossible. The hotel claims that everything in the bathroom has been redone. Now I'm wondering why old reviews for this hotel also describe this serious deficiency.

Internet: It's practically nonexistent. Without a hotspot through your own provider, you have no chance. Even the bakery around the corner has faster internet. But that also fits the overall impression of the hotel. Hotel: During my 9 days, the rooms were almost never occupied. In retrospect, I now understand why that is. Unfortunately, I booked a little late, and there was nothing left in the corner. Only in this hotel were rooms available at all times. No wonder... The hotel seems eerie and bizarre because you're all alone.

Cleanliness: The floor wasn't mopped in the 9 days. I noticed it because there were hairs and small stones always in the same place. The bed also never had a fresh make-up for 9 days, and the bedsheet was coming off, leaving the mattress exposed. The towels are unpleasantly hard. I never stay in budget hotels, but you could imagine towels like these in hotels like this. Oh yeah, there's also no sign indicating whether room cleaning is required. So, you might find yourself in the room with the cleaning lady standing there when you step out of the shower naked. It happened to me once, but I had the key in the door. Knocking doesn't seem to be common practice at this hotel either.

Service: After I gave the hotel a bad review, my credit card was charged €100. I inquired, and then, without comment, I received an invoice for "incidents & cleaning fees." I asked what that was, and the answer was that I had soiled the room. And I should now contact my booking agent. I understand, service and satisfied guests are not desired at this hotel. I asked my booking agent, and the answer was that the toilet was clogged and they had to hire professionals. And a whole lot of other damage. Of course, this is all far-fetched. You can also read this in other reviews of the hotel; it seems to be a common practice there. Let me recap: I left the hotel at 2 p.m., and people were already waiting downstairs for their room, as it had to be ready by 3 p.m. And they fixed all the serious defects within an hour. A fairytale hour at the local hotel. I advised my tour operator to remove the hotel from their program.

Conclusion: I travel about 4-5 times a year and often stay in hotels away from home for work. This was by far the worst hotel I've stayed in. The service is poor, and the management is completely unprofessional. I'm surprised they haven't gone bankrupt yet. Cyprus is truly a great country; the people are very nice, very helpful, and hospitable. Only the hotel does not reflect this and ruins your entire vacation.

True comfort and elegance. The place is AMAZING!

Beautiful boutique hotel in a great central location. Perfect for wandering the streets for coffee, independent shops and great restaurants. Friendly, accommodative team operating the hotel. Outstanding breakfast with mouthwatering breakfast choices. Rooms were thoughtfully decorated with super-comfy beds and walk in rain shower. The designer paid attention to small details. Very clean rooms with daily housekeeping service. The place is AMAZING!
