Lordos Beach Hotel

We have just returned from two wonderful stays at the Lordos Beach Hotel this year, in June and September, and once again it exceeded all expectations.

Our June visit was particularly special as it was my mother's first trip to Cyprus. From the moment we arrived, she was made to feel so welcome and thoroughly enjoyed every minute of her holiday, creating memories that she will cherish for years to come.

The hotel itself is superb. It is immaculately maintained, beautifully clean, and situated in a fantastic beachfront location. The rooms are comfortable, the food is consistently excellent, and the modern pool area provides the perfect place to relax and unwind. Combined with the beautifully maintained grounds and relaxed atmosphere, it is easy to see why so many guests return year after year. It truly feels like a home away from home. The Lordos Beach Hotel continues to deliver exceptional service, excellent facilities and genuine Cypriot hospitality.

What truly makes the Lordos exceptional, however, is its people. Year after year, we are welcomed back like old friends. From the moment you arrive, the reception team makes you feel genuinely valued and appreciated. A heartfelt thank you to George and Vassilios, whose professionalism, kindness and genuine friendliness make every arrival a pleasure. They are an absolute credit to the hotel.

A special mention must also go to Nicos and his team, Theodokis, Latsos and Murad. Not only do they work tirelessly behind the scenes to keep the hotel and grounds looking their very best, but they always take the time to stop for a chat and make guests feel welcome. Their friendly personalities contribute enormously to the atmosphere that makes the Lordos so unique.

In the restaurant, George, Georgia and Galina are simply outstanding. Their attentiveness, friendliness and exceptional service make breakfast one of the highlights of the day. George and Georgia also make what must surely be the best omelettes in Cyprus! Equally impressive is the wider restaurant team, who work tirelessly behind the scenes and always greet guests with a smile. Their warmth, efficiency, attention to detail and genuine desire to ensure that every guest enjoys their dining experience never go unnoticed. Whether at breakfast, lunch or dinner, the service is consistently excellent.

We would also like to thank Rami and Soltan, who work incredibly hard around the beach, pool and lawn areas. Their warm personalities, dedication and genuine interest in guests help make every stay that little bit more special.

Finally, a sincere thank you to Nicolas and his management team for their hospitality, generosity and personal touch, which always makes our visits feel special. Nicolas is a visible and approachable presence around the hotel and clearly takes great pride in ensuring guests enjoy a memorable stay. His leadership is reflected in the high standards, welcoming atmosphere and exceptional service consistently delivered by the entire team.

One of the things that makes the Lordos so special for us is not just the wonderful staff, but also the friendships we have made over the years. We have been fortunate to meet many of the regular September guests, several of whom have become genuine friends. Each year, it feels less like returning to a hotel and more like coming back to a place where familiar faces, shared laughter and lasting friendships await. Catching up with everyone is always one of the highlights of our holiday and adds to the unique sense of warmth and community that the Lordos creates. We are already looking forward to seeing our Lordos family again next year.

The brilliant staff make this place. Every single member of staff was so helpful and friendly. There is plenty of choice at breakfast and we are in the restaurant a couple of times and it was very good. The club sandwich at lunchtime was huge and definitely enough for 2 people. Everywhere was clean and tidy. We had a lovely break with family and friends.

This was our second time choosing this wonderful hotel, and once again, it exceeded all our expectations. The surroundings are magical, the staff is attentive, and the food is simply divine.

The absolute highlight of our stay was Galina’s incredible thoughtfulness: we were last here exactly one year ago, yet she still remembered us! Such genuine hospitality and care are rare to find—she is a true angel.
