Great experience
We stayed here to finish our great vacations in Cyprus and it was a fantastic choice. Good amenities, food and services provided by the Hotel. Location is great close to beach and all staff were very kind.

Wonderful Holiday
My wife and myself returned to the Golden Bay for a second year having enjoyed our stay last year we both wanted to return for another break this year. From the time you enter the reception area on arrival and until the day you leave the staff are so welcoming, polite and cannot do enough for you this is from the manager to all other staff who we see on a daily basis. The rooms are cleaned daily although they are in need of an upgrade they are always clean and are spacious. The restaurant serves different food each evening so there is always an excellent choice. We believe this hotel certainly gives value for money. My wife and myself are already planning on returning in 2027 for another wonderful holiday at the Golden Bay.

Comfortable Hotel
The Golden Bay Hotel is undoubtedly one of the best hotels in Larnaca. It may appear a little tired and in need of updating with regard to its interior furnishings lobby and rooms compared to some of its competitors but this is one of the oldest hotels in the area and I understand that there are plans in motion to address this in the future. The outdated decor did not deter from our enjoyable and comfortable stay at this hotel.
We still return as it caters to our immediate needs in that it is a comfortable hotel and provides by far the best breakfast buffet with a huge array of Cypriot delicacies all served on a beautiful terrace overlooking the pool for those who wish to eat outside. The rooms are clean and comfortable, there is a decent gym, gift shop, a spa and guaranteed beach sun loungers by the beach with quality loungers and towels.
The staff at the hotel have all been there for years which is testament to its loyalty.
A special shout to Ann at reception always very helpful, Julia in the gift shop and Gina in the spa reception both friendly and above all to Mr Kyriakos the hotel stalwart who has been there for decades and greets and knows everyone (returning guests of which there are many) with his friendly smile and banter.
Yes there is a fancy Radisson down the road but it is the Golden Bay for me for service with a smile and that touch of Cypriot hospitality.
Excellent hotel, Amazing staff and great food
The hotel is beautiful, spotless clean. The staff were welcoming, friendly and the food was absolutely amazing. A special mention goes to one of the managers Mr Kyriaxos Kyriacou Shiakallis, who is truly a gem. He welcomed us, very friendly and always checked on us and went above and beyond to make our stay even more special. Also would like to recognise the wonderful staff including Simon, Irvana, Anastacia, Lucy and the lovely Sandra from the restaurant💕 I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great hotel, fantastic time
From the moment you arrive at the hotel a warm welcome awaits you from Ann and the team, check in was smooth, you receive your wrist bands and sunbed reserve notices, these notices allow you the same bed for the duration of your stay, none of the nonsense of putting towels out at stupid o’clock. After checking in we went straight to the rooms ours overlooked the tennis courts and the sea. The room was spotless with all the amenities you need for a holiday stay. There is a great selection of drinks available from the bars, be it, by the pool or in the hotel lounge both offer great service. The hotel offers two main restaurants breakfast and dinner are in the upper-level overlooking the pool and other offers lunch and snacks which is situated by the pool side. Both restaurants are overseen by Kyriakos who ensures all runs smoothly. Outdoor entertainment is provided in the evening with a different act each evening, don’t miss out on the Greek dance night, which you can join in if you wish. Which brings me to the staff, all are lovely and friendly always ready to help, but I would like to mention a few (not all it would be too many) but our thanks to Ann (Reception) Lucy and Vernie (Restaurant) and Peter and Tony (Poolside)
