Worst hotel I have ever stayed in!
Boyfriend booked hotel for one night as we were attending a concert last minute and we could not bare to spend the night… Checked out at early hours in the morning and drove 2 hours back to where we have spent the rest of our holiday.
Firstly, the hotel room was not clean at all. There was lots of little bugs on top of the sides. My boyfriend’s socks were pitted with filth just from walking a few steps.
When we pulled back the green bed sheet cover it had a lot of yellow and green stains.. some of them crusty & it looked like it had not been washed in a long time. It made me feel physically repulsed. Bed was also rock hard.
Balcony door did not shut/ lock.. safety issue which reception staff did not seem to care about. We would have got a safe but were told we could not pay by card for the deposit to hire one of the night.
Shower hardly worked.. majority of water still came out of the bath tap while only a trickle came out of the shower head.
Fridge did not work.
Air con was basically non existent - circulating warm air around the room while very noisy.
Wish I had taken pictures of just how bad this hotel was as I can not fathom how it has 3 stars - that is 3 stars to many!!
Posting to make people aware before making the mistake of booking this hotel.

Awful place! Very old and dirty rooms. No lights in the corridors. I arrived late and had to use my phone light to find my room number. No lights on the staircase, as well. When I got into my room my frustration got even bigger. I barely spent the night there and moved to another place. I will not even comment the breakfast, having in mind the condition of the room.

This was supposed to be a few days to relax in the pool. There is no pool. Me and my husband have serious back problems and I asked for 2 extra pillows because the 2 we had were flat and very uncomfortable. When I asked in reception on our arrival I was told to wait half an hour. When nothing came I went to reception again and the rude blond Eastern European woman on reception said no sorry I have no staff wait till tomorrow. She was absolutely horrible. I explained about our back problems I even offered to go to the cupboard to collect myself. I was told no very rudely and told to wait till tomorrow. This is the worst experience I've ever had. The place is just a run down dump. A simple request for 1 extra pillow each. I don't think I have ever stayed in a hotel that only gives one flat pillow each. I'm so disappointed. And I will be putting in a official complaint. People who work in hospitality should know how to work with people and be kind and considerate. I could have got the 2 pillows so we could have a decent sleep but I was told no. This is unbelievable. We only booked because we thought we had a swimming pool on the roof. There has been no pool for 2 years. It's very very run down dirty paint peeling everywhere. An absolute hell hole. I advise anyone coming here to think again because I have been so disappointed. Ruined me and my husband weekend completely.

It's awfull hotel . Dirty and there is smell .impossible to stay!!!!!!!! Staff are liars and do not pick up phone to answer the tourist agent!!!!!! I am really shocked .it must be closed! There is no swimming pool no electric power and impossible to stay
DONT GO THERE - Disappointing Experience at Flamingo Beach Hotel
Our recent stay at Flamingo Beach Hotel in Larnaca was far from what we expected. The hotel’s location near the beach is nice, but unfortunately, that's about the only positive aspect of our experience.
First, the rooms were outdated and poorly maintained. The furniture was worn, and the cleanliness was below standard—there was dust and an odd smell lingering in the room. Additionally, the bathroom was cramped, and the fixtures felt very old and grimy, making us uncomfortable using it.
The staff seemed indifferent to our concerns and did not seem motivated to help. Breakfast was included in our package, but the selection was limited and repetitive, with no fresh options. The food didn’t taste fresh, and we were reluctant to eat much of it.
The lack of maintenance extended to the pool area, IT WASN'T OPEN! which was looked neglected, with sunbeds that looked like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while.
For the price, we expected at least basic amenities to be kept in reasonable condition, but sadly, Flamingo Beach Hotel fell short. We wouldn’t recommend staying here unless significant improvements are made. At the end of our stay someone said that this hotel is about to be DEMOLISHED!!!
