Good.
The hotel/room was clean and tidy and the cleaners and staff were nice. Unclear and confusing when there was a note on the toilet saying that you were not allowed to flush toilet paper at all but that it should be put in the bin after drying. Regardless of when you needed to do no. 2, we used paper that we flushed down the toilet anyway, otherwise the smell in the bin would have been unbearable.
The location is a 2 minute walk from Agias Napa's shopping street, which we really liked.
We were very happy with the transfer to and from the hotel.
Less good The all inclusive was ok and the food was so-so. The pancakes tasted strange and had a strange consistency and the béarnaise sauce looked like bea but tasted like vinegar dressing and the snack bar's selection was very simple. The bars were ok but they didn't have a pool bar, they were a walking distance away. The drinks machines in the dining room at breakfast did not work as they should, but when you pressed apple juice, pineapple came instead, etc. Important to point out that there was no real juice, only mixed juice. At lunch and dinner there were no water fountains or soda machines to take yourself, but you had to wait for the waiter sometimes up to 20 minutes to get your drink served, which was frustrating in 33 degree heat, you were constantly thirsty. The dining room was ok. although it could get a little loud.
Bad For red wine drinkers, be aware that no red wine is served above 4 degrees Celsius. So no place for the red wine connoisseur. A nicer dining room was popular to go to in the evening and is included in the all inclusive on one occasion, but we were not impressed by the surroundings, a lot of tables in a plain room that lacked a romantic feel. No candles on the tables and no dinner music on the speakers. The 3-course menu that was served was absolutely nothing wrong with it.
On the dining terrace and at the pool area, only hip hop Latino music was constantly played, i.e. no Greek classical music at all. We went to Cyprus to experience and feel Greek culture, but it felt like we were in Malaga.
The pool was certainly good, but those traveling with children should note that the lifeguards do not pay attention to the children in the pool and do not mess with ball launchers and other things that disturb the peace. The lifeguards sit and braid each other's hair and surf on their phones and basically only have the job of handing out towels. The hotel area was completely open to anyone and it was noticed that several times immigrant gangs came and threw themselves into the pool with their clothes on and were very close to especially the Scandinavian girls in their lower teens, which created discomfort for many parents. The hotel area has no security measures or plans for the residents to feel safe and to keep out unauthorized people. The area is said to be completely open 24 hours a day without guards and no one should open their doors in the evenings and nights as there are door knocks which some experienced. Not worth the 4 stars the hotel has for some reason due to the lack of security of the residents.
Not a great Hotel but the local area is fabulous! We booked here last minute and got a really good deal but this hotel is not fantastic. The staff are amazing the hotel restaurant staff, Bar staff and cleaners but the reception staff are pretty poor and unhelpful. The food in the restaurant is pretty much the same all the time and very boring, we ate out 4 out of the 7 evenings because of this. We loved the local area and will definitely return to the area but definitely not to this hotel. The pool area is crazy busy and the beds are far to close to each other also everyone starts putting our towel to secure beds super early in the mornings🤣🫣 The pool could definitely do with a clean and some maintenance is needed. The rooms are quite modern and cleaned every other day and our beds wasn’t changed the whole week?… also these beds are the most uncomfortable beds I have ever slept on! I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to others and definitely would not return.
We were excited to return to this hotel after a wonderful stay seven years ago. Unfortunately, our recent trip was a huge disappointment, and it's clear the hotel has gone massively downhill.
The biggest issue, and a serious health concern, was the discovery of feces on the astroturf near the pool bar. When we reported this to the bar staff, they were completely unhelpful and laughed, telling us it wasn't their job. We then reported it to reception an hour later. While someone was called, the problem was never actually fixed—it was simply smeared into the astroturf. This level of neglect is disgusting and completely unacceptable.
This lack of care seemed to be a theme throughout the hotel. The lifeguards were unprofessional, spending their time on their phones, smoking, or sleeping, and a dangerous light with an exposed wire was hanging in the pool itself.
Our room also had issues. We had ants from day one. By the third day, we had to ask for a thorough cleaning after finding old food and candy under the beds, which likely contributed to the ant problem. The regular cleaning was inconsistent, and we were even left without any towels one day. It's a shame because the hotel has potential.
The staff in the buffet restaurant were a positive exception—they were quick to serve our drinks and were very helpful with my gluten-free diet, providing me with bread, croissants, and cakes daily. However, this was not enough to make up for the overall state of the hotel.
Overall, it's a grubby and unloved place with a serious lack of effective management. It's sad to see a place with so much potential be so neglected.
We had a great time at Atlantica Panthea in Ayia Napa! The hotel is close to the sea with lovely views. Entertainment was amazing for both adults and kids. We especially enjoyed the aqua gym – so much fun! My kids loved the activities in the Kids Club and had the best time. We also had a really good time at night – the evening entertainment was great with the mini disco, quizzes, karaoke, and the singers, especially Maria who really knows how to put on a good show and include everyone.
The food was good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The reception staff and the bar staff also made our stay even better. The room could have been cleaner, but overall it was an excellent stay. We will definitely come back – such a great place for families in Cyprus!
Just got back from a week staying here with a group of friends and we had the best time! The hotel itself is really nice, and our room was spacious & comfortable. We had a lovely view from the balcony too.
The drinks selection was good, Hugo Spritz hallelujah!! and the snack bar was really tasty for grabbing food during the day. The evening buffet didn't have the biggest selection, but what was there was still nice. The mornings we actually managed to get up for breakfast, it was yum.
The pool is nice and big, with lots of space to relax. The location is perfect as it's only about a 5–10 minute walk to the main strip/square, so it was perf for nightlife! There are also loads of shops, restaurants and places to eat nearby.
All of the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, we had an amazing week and I'd definitely recommend , especially if you're going as a group of friends! I miss it!! Live laugh love napa. Defo returning.
