Another 5* Holday
Thank you Olympic Lagoon for our 4th stay at you Hotel & Resort. Twice now in Ayia Napa 2019 and 2026 and same in Pathos 2022 and 2023. As always absolutely wonderful hard working staff all round but a special mention to the young lady with the sun lounger staff, above and beyond. Also, the Kanika Allstars this year were probably the best yet singing wise which gave their wonderful shows that extra edge. The Cher show was new for us, fantastic with incredible vocals. Pleased we went for that one. Main Cher/Rizzo (Grease) just Wow but shouldn’t really single anyone out as they were all incredible. They also run daytime activities in and around the pool if you wish to get involved or you could be lazy and just sun bathe and go for dip to cool off like us. You have a choice. The food again was top notch (Indian Night my personal favourite) and we love the Hotel policy of sun lounger allocation. If you not quite happy where you are at, request a move and the helpful staff will do their best to move you when/if able. I personally could easily deal with the usual Sunbed wars as I’m up at the crack of dawn but it’s a stress Olympic Lagoon totally alleviate. Just why other Hotels (even 5*) do not implement this I do not understand. Never change this Policy. One slight niggle…please update the Kanika website as their order and list of Shows is incorrect. Would of loved to of seen the Queen Shown (again) at Ayai Napa this time (as advertised on the Kanika Website). Minus One are a fantastic band and are such professional musicians. You simply can not be blown away be those vocals. Back home 2 days now with the blues planning our return, we’ve tried other places but you can’t help comparing them to Olympic Lagoon.

Second time visiting this hotel, definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great selection of food that was cooked to perfection and excellent waiter service throughout the hotel. Great selection of drinks at the bars and my daughter loved the Stevie’s special kids cocktail. Totally loved the new swim up bar as it wasn’t there on our previous visit. Our room was great we had our own private garden with pool view, the mini fridge in our room was restocked every day with Coca Cola, sprite, pure orange and water. Thanks to Prakash for keeping the room spotless. Hotel is in walking distance to landa and nissi bay beaches. Definitely would have no hesitations to recommend the Olympic lagoon.
Amazing experience once again
This is our 7th visit and each year just gets better. From the amazing entertainment team to the phenomenal bar staff this hotel is quality. The Kanika all stars are amazing and put on great shows and great entertainment and work so hard from day to night. We wanted to give a special shout to Katie, Sam, Megan, Leah and Bandana who have always gone the extra mile for their job friendly, funny and just always put a smile on your face. Sam, Megan, Katie and Leah also have amazing voices and definitely deserve more bigger roles in shows or even outside entertainment. Petra and Diane are always so friendly in the diner or main restaurant.The hotel is always so clean and tidy and you will always get greeted with a smile. Fanos, Steve, Joan and Dil also made our holiday with their friendliness and humour behind the bar. Would 100% recommend this hotel and can’t wait to return.
Fantastic resort
What a fantastic resort we had an amazing holiday from the moment we arrived the food and drinks were beautiful and the resort had everything you could want and the staff were fantastic especially Iranka the recreation manager he was such a nice and friendly man who made sure we had everything we needed and also Eleni the front office manager she was amazing she was so friendly and helpful.I would definitely recommend this resort it’s excellent for couples and groups and families with children of all ages.We are definitely going to return to this resort.
Good but was better
Firstly, I just want to say I've absolutely loved this hotel since day dot, ive been 8 times prior to this and it's been amazing, unfortunately I feel like a couple things are starting to go down hill, the entertainment of a night time has became poor, megan, sam, katie, leah and elfin were all great and were all lovely, as for a few others they could barely even dance never mind sing, some of the choices of who would play main roles was very questionable especially on the male side, we also felt like the sound was very very loud at a point where you could barely hear the quieter singers, the choreography also made no sense at all but that's just being picky... we also felt like the cleaners were really poor, there were several times where we'd came back into our room after it had apparently been cleaned and there were still shoe marks on the floor, there was a nut on the bathroom floor which hadn't been cleaned for 3 days and must've been before we were there as nor me or my partner eat nuts, guest services were also really incompetent, our umbrella next to our sunloungers had been taken out of its stand and moved with my partners top in, guest services then told us it must have been the wind, however when we found the umbrella it was closed and tied, yet when we left to go to the adults pool before it was open, so if you can explain to me how an open umbrella can fly out of its stand into the air then close and tie up and land perfectly behind a wall then please do tell. Now to the positives, the food at the Olympic lagoon always has great choice, special thank you to Andrea as always, every morning without fail she puts a smile on our faces, the buffet always has a good range of food, if I had to give an improvement I'd say maybe more vegetarian options, the rock n roll diner was great as always and the chicken tenders from there were amazing, the orchids is also great if you go at sunset, lovely scenery around it and great food, although portion size could be bigger, the greats was also amazing the fish and chips there are great and the garlic bread is incredible. We also loved the pools and activities available especially water volleyball of a morning, always fun and a good laugh no matter which team wins, would have been handy if one of the referees could count. We loved the adults swim up bar too, there were shaded areas, a waterfall, jacuzzi and great thanks to ivo who provided us with drinks there all the time and remembered my order from last year! The main pool bar is also great, never wait long for a drink and steve, fanos and Muhammad in particular were lovely. In regards to entertainment there is a singer on at the pool bar from 7-9 and he is amazing, arguably better than some of the entertainment itself. The people at the resort were also amazing, spoke to several lovely couples and families and it was a great environment to be in. The room as a whole was good, nice and cool of a night time and a very comfy bed, the mini fridge was also stocked up daily for us. The lazy river you can not fault at all too, if you really want to feel the heat get yourself in there and you'll catch a nice tan, there's also an ice cream parlour which is great as there's no limit to how much you can get. I'd give the hotel a 7.8 out of 10 but if the entertainment was as good as it previously was it would be a 9.
