if i could rate this 0 i would! me and my boyfriend were staying here, they wanted to keep our passports the whole week of our stay! but that’s not even the bad thing, me and my boyfriend had come back from being out for food, we put a film on and ended up falling asleep, i then get woken up by my boyfriend who is frantic around our room saying some man has just been in our room and woken him up! not to be tmi but we were naked passed out on the bed, we’re young adults and some random man has entered our room at night and startled us!! we don’t know how long he was in there for nor what he could of done before waking my boyfriend up, he said he came in due to noise complaints but the hotel wasn’t busy and the tv wasn’t loud, i have never ever felt so disrespected and scared in a hotel in my life! to have a grown man enter my room where im meant to be safe! asleep and secure on my holidays but no i had my full privacy invaded for absolutely no reason and no member of staff or the manager had any remorse whatsoever for the situation that happened, instead told us to leave when our flight home was in 2 days! 2 young adults on the streets of napa because a grown man walked in our room! in the middle of the night while we were both asleep! naked! everything! it’s absolutely disgusting! anything could of happened and i’m so so disgusted how my privacy has been invaded as a young woman aslong with my boyfriend to! absolutely disgusting
Please don’t go to this hotel. AVOID!!!! Hotel is old, dirty & smells of cigarettes. The staff have zero respect for customers & are all very rude. Manager of hotel was very unprofessional & told 2 young adults aged 17 & 19 to leave the hotel and kicked them out knowing they had 2 days remaining on holiday because they had a film on loud & fell asleep to it. A male worker then entered their room in the middle of the night while they were naked because of the heat to stand over them and tell them to turn the tv off which scared them for them to scream and cry and leave in the middle of the night. This is totally unacceptable of the hotel to do. It wasn’t an emergency & none of the staff accepted this as wrong when we complained. This part of Ayia napa is stunning & beautiful, there are lots of beautiful hotels near by so please do your research & don’t let hotels like this put you off.
Don't go to this hotel unless your prepared for a worker to enter your room while you sleep! Old man entered someone's room who was both naked from the heat apparently because the TV was loud yet he'd turned it off at the plug but wake them up asking for the remote because it was too loud?! Who knows what he'd done before waking them up! Disgusting, only in an emergency should they be entering someone's room, not safe at all in this hotel don't go!!!
I was there a few weeks ago but forgot to review, but I wanted to because we had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Marina, like anybody else does before you go away on holiday I read the reviews and was abit dubious about Benidorm but we had such a great time for the 5 nights we stopped. The staff were absolutely superb, the room and cleaning staff were great, around the pool was fantastic with the huge screen TV to watch the sport whilst the resident DJ played some class house music throughout the day and the entertainment in the white star pub was brilliant, I live a tribute act and saw Elton John and Michael Jackson. Yes there is people trying to sell you drugs on the main strip which is a 2 minute walk away but it's no different to say Blackpool in England, you just politely say no and they don't bother you whatsoever. We went self catering and had breakfast everyday at planet Benidorm over the road, was 8 euros for a huge breakfast and a pint in the sun everyday, what more can you want? The old town is a nice gentle 10 minute stroll littered with bars and restaurants on the way, the seafront is just a 2 minute walk and has some lovely cocktail bars and all the usual shops to get your gifts and water for your room etc. I'll be definitely staying at the Marina again though, for the price, service and vibe it far exceeded my expectations so thanks guys, see you next year in 2026!!!
Absolutely amazing experience. Our second time staying at this Hotel and I am certain we will be returning. What more do you need from a Hotel than spotlessly clean areas, corridors smelling amazing, daily serviced rooms and change of towels, personnel going the extra mile to serve you, buffet breakfast with lots of variety to choose from, gardens and pool perfectly clean... all is excellent. The Hotel is situated in a stunning area with exotic views to the ocean! Thank you to Mrs Marina and the crew! We are grateful for your love and care! We will be returning for sure.xxx
