This 4 star hotel is located within the city of Ayia Napa and was established in 1985. It is a short drive away from the Thalassa Museum and the nearest station is not available. The Hotel has 3 restaurants, 2 bars, a conference room, a coffee shop, an indoor swimming pool, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre/gym.
We recently had our wedding at the Grecian Sands Hotel in Cyprus and it exceeded all of our expectations. When we first arrived at the hotel we were surprised to be told the hotel has upgraded our room to the Penthouse Suite. The Penthouse Suite was a beautiful room, with stunning views overlooking the beach and across to Ayia Napa in the distance.
The following day we met Sally from Perfect Weddings abroad and Georgina the hotel's event coordinator. They made us feel at ease and we went through all the plans for the big day. Georgina was amazing, so caring checking on us to make sure we had everything we needed.
Our wedding day exceeded all of our expectations, it was even more beautiful than in the brochure. We were married on the sea view deck overlooking crystal clear blue seas.
The photographer was brilliant, and kept us relaxed and laughing during the photo taking. We went for the BBQ buffet and the food was exceptional and all the staff who were welcoming and helpful from start to finish.
Our wedding day was truly perfect and It felt like a fairy tale. I cannot thank Georgina enough for making our day so special and unforgettable. Every moment of our day was filled with love, happiness and memories we will never forget.
If you are thinking about getting married in Cyprus I cannot recommend the Grecian Sands Hotel enough, they gave us the most beautiful day of our live that we will never forget.
Very happy, one of best hotels to stay in Cyprus
The location is great, just far enough from the noise of the centre but easy to get to if you want to. My room was a delight with amazing complementary toiletries.cleaned to a high standard every day I opted for B@B which was perfect to be able to have bar snacks during the day or sample some local restaurants I felt it was reasonable value for money and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful
We got married here during a 14 night stay, along with 23 of our nearest and dearest family and friends. I can honestly say the experience was incredible. From a surprise upgraded room, to multiple little surprises throughout I cannot speak more positively about the team at Grecian Sands. One specific individual (Georgina) most of all will forever hold our hearts in the highest of esteem, the multiple hats she wears with grace and efficiency, the multiple plates spinning, and still managing to find the most perfect special touches. To get more specific about the hotel outside of the experience: the commons areas are diligently clean, the rooms are spotlessly clean, the food is incredible, drinks are very well crafted, with food and drink both being reasonably priced. The roof top burger bar is beautiful and well worth a visit the views are stunning. The seating in the bars, restaurants and around the pool are really well maintained and comfortable. The room sizes are great, the amenities in the room are fabulous, and the services offered by the hotel are on a par with high-end hotels. Location: It is fantastic, it is close enough to Ayia Napa, whilst being far enough away to be able to easily enjoy what is on offer whilst not being completely "in it". a very short walk you will find small supermarkets, ATMs, Pharmacies etc, a slightly longer walk or very short taxi ride you will find a plethora of offerings in Ayia Napa itself. The Hotel is right on the beach, with its own private beach as well. If I was to have any criticism at all (and this is really digging!); I would say Toilet Facilities particularly during the wedding could be closer and more specifically if you have an elderly guest can be a little far to go. However as I say that is really picking, because the experience itself throughout the holiday and wedding was out of this world.
Just came back from a wonderful holiday at this fantastic hotel and we were greeted by the hotel manager which he has done to us for the last 25 years. We were given an award as Ambassadors of Tourism of Agia Napa at the Town hall by the deputy Mayor for 40 stays over the last 30 years. Wonderful hotel, excellent staff especially the manager Avramis, and Stella, Tommy and Andronis. Best regards, Mike and Sue Long room 401
