Stayed at Dome Beach with family, 5 adults snd 3 kids. This is our 3rd time in last 3 years and I can’t fault it, the location is in my opinion the best in Ayia Napa and the staff are fantastic, they work so hard for the guests and really go above and beyond. A special shout out to Maria, Johnny and Ismail who made us feel so welcome again. The hotel has added some good touches in the last few years and we loved sitting at the beach bar listening to the DJ while looking out over the sea, it’s truly one of my favourite spots to be. Looking forward to coming back next year for a truly relaxing time.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Wonderful Experience!
A truly beautiful hotel with excellent staff and a very welcoming atmosphere. From the very first moment, you can feel that the people who work here do their job with a smile, kindness and genuine care for their guests. ❤️
We were especially impressed by the cleanliness throughout the hotel. The rooms were spotless, well-maintained and very comfortable, while all the common areas were always clean and beautifully looked after.
The swimming pools were also exceptionally clean and well-maintained, creating the perfect environment for relaxation and enjoying your holiday. 🏊♀️☀️
A big thank you to all the staff for their hard work, kindness and professionalism. They are truly the people who make the difference and create a wonderful experience for every guest.
Congratulations to the whole team! 👏❤️ Definitely a hotel worth visiting, and one you will be happy to return to!
Ok.. just got back from a 14 night stay at The Dome Hotel. We arrived at the hotel gone 3am and check in was very simple. We had booked two side sea view rooms and had requested either interconnecting rooms or rooms next to each other as we are a family of six - which we were given. The rooms which are on the 3rd floor are very basic. Beds, a table, bathroom with a bath/shower and a safe (which you had to pay a deposit for). Towels where refreshed daily along with shampoos and body wash. The rooms, although clean, need a bit of love and attention. The location of the hotel was perfect for us. Both beaches are 5* - the sea is Crystal clear with white sand. There is a small charge for sun beds and umbrellas and considering we where there peak season we always found sun beds to sit on.
The hotel as 2 swimming pools - the main pool which has access to two bars and is close the main restaurant. Unless your up around 7/7.30 you had little or no chance of finding a decent sunbed around the pool. There is no sun bed policy at the hotel. Which is disappointing as guests can reserve beds all day and then turn up at 4pm to use them. Both pools close at 6 and dont open till 10am - i think thats a bit too early. We found the sunbeds round the pool to be in poor condition - the cushions (most of which had mold on them) smelt bad and after a few mins on them made the towls smell as well. Both pools were clean enough and the pool areas are kept very clean.
Staff and entertainment staff cannot be faulted. Friendly, hardworking and always with a smile - a rarity in todays world. I actually cannot find fault with the service at the hotel - even the cleaner would greet you nicely in the morning.
There are a few minor points which we felt let the hotel down.
Food - for a four star resort it simply wasn't good enough. Most of the meats and fish on offer during lunch and dinner we overcooked. The desserts tasted frozen and lacked flavour and for a 14 night stay it was very repetitive. You could also tell that a of the food was made with low quality ingredients.
A'la Carte - dont even bother. Your not given a menu. Food is brought to the table - regardless of dietary tastes or requirements and your expected just to eat what they serve up. The pizza looked like it was served straight out of box and we walked out after 15 mins. Really not good enough
Strange cleaning works - This happened a couple of times on our stay. Maintenance teams painting the floors and cabanos during the day while guests where seated round the pool. On one occasion staff where Jet washing the floor around the restaurant and bar areas during the day - even during meal times.- you could literally smell the bleach. Toilets where also not maintained to a satisfactory level - often left dirty and smelt - especially the ones by the pool.
As as family with 4 young children we often left the evening shows early due to the cigarette smoke which stank the place out. There should 100% be non smoking areas especially by the kids entertainment at night.
Security seems to be non existent around the hotel. anyone sitting on the beach can access the hotels swimming pool /bar areas and on a few occasions i felt i was unable to leave my belongings on the sun beds because of this.
To summarise: The dome is not a 4 star. It got some great facilities and possibly one of the best beaches in cyprus. The rooms need a revamp and the restaurants need some new ideas. Staff are great.
Thank you to all the staff who made our holiday such good fun.
The stay was far from relaxing: the room smelled badly, especially whenever the air conditioning was turned on, and both housekeeping and room service were poor. The all-inclusive buffet was repetitive and low quality, with the only real plus being the hotel’s proximity to the sea; I wouldn’t choose it again.
