Chrysomare Beach Hotel and Resort

​Our experience at reception set the tone for an utterly absurd stay. Despite being right there in front of them, completely ignored, no one bothered to ask if we even needed a simple glass of water. We were treated as if we were invisible, while the three receptionists handed out vouchers to guests who arrived after us. Even when I went to the bar at 10:00 AM attempting to purchase a coffee, I was flatly refused and told they simply couldn't make one—an incomprehensible reaction for an establishment claiming a five-star status. ​The Culinary Experience and the Coffee Paradox The food and beverage offerings were a continuous disappointment: ​Food and Drinks: The meals are tasteless, giving the distinct impression of being reheated leftovers. The drinks included in the All-Inclusive package are severely limited and watered down, consisting mostly of ice and syrup. ​The "À la Carte" Illusion: We were offered an option to dine at what was supposedly a Greek à la carte restaurant, only to be served the exact same reheated lunch food from the main hotel buffet. ​Snack Bar Attitude: The same hostility persists here, where the older man taking orders looks at you with unbearable condescension, making you feel as though he is doing you a favor giving you food, rather than fulfilling a fully paid service. ​Severe Water Quality Issues: The tap water carries an unbearable taste and odor of sewage. This issue extends to the bathroom, making it impossible to even brush your teeth without buying bottled water from the shop. ​Dirty Facilities and the Coffee Absurdity: At breakfast, there is only a single coffee machine for all guests, and it is in a deplorable, filthy condition—one I was forced to use solely for lack of alternatives. The coffee at the lobby bar or snack bar is essentially just colored water with sugar. Paradoxically, to get a drinkable coffee, you are directed to a separate paid café, completely undermining the premise of an All-Inclusive package. ​Room Quality and General Atmosphere The sole positive aspect of the stay was the sea-view room, yet this was quickly ruined by ants inside the room and a persistent sewage smell from the bathroom. Furthermore, the resort lacks any meaningful activities, feeling tailored almost exclusively for the elderly rather than families with children or young couples. The evening entertainment is dismal—the singer sounded as if he were learning to perform right there on the spot. ​Verdict This hotel does not deserve a 5-star rating under any circumstances. You pay premium prices for non-existent services and questionable quality. It is an experience I strongly advise against, and a place I will never return to.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and truly felt like I was at home. From the moment I arrived, everyone was so welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable, and the whole team made me feel genuinely special and appreciated.
