Another wonderful stay at this lovely Ayia Napa hotel!
We have been returning to Chrysomare Beach Hotel & Resort two or three times a year since its opening in 2023, usually in April–May and September–October, often to celebrate our civil and religious wedding anniversaries and the rates are considerably more reasonable than the months of June-August. Over the years, it has become something of a family tradition and one of our favourite places for a relaxing getaway.
This time, we decided to combine a one-night stay with a visit to the Ayia Napa Medieval Festival, and once again, Chrysomare did not disappoint!
What we particularly enjoyed:
Excellent beachfront location, directly on the beautiful Vathia Gonia beach, with easy access to the sea.
Although the hotel is no longer brand new, the facilities remain in very good condition, which is particularly pleasing to see after several years of operation.
Spacious, clean and comfortable accommodation. The soundproofing is good. We stayed in a Superior Room with Side Sea View on the second floor, which was generously sized and offered a lovely view. The room was absolutely spotless and spacious enough to comfortably accommodate an additional single bed for our daughter without feeling cramped. The large bathroom was equally impressive, featuring a bathtub and two washbasins which is convenient when travelling as a family.
Beautiful outdoor areas and three adult swimming pools. We thoroughly enjoyed swimming both in the sea and in one of the pools.
Excellent facilities for families with young children. Our daughter had a fantastic time at the dedicated shallow children's pool, complete with slides and water features, as well as at the Kids Club.
Fantastic breakfast selection, with plenty of choices to suit different tastes. Freshly prepared omelettes, pancakes, crêpes and even mimosas make breakfast something to look forward to!
A pleasant atmosphere and friendly, professional staff who contribute greatly to the overall experience.
Special recognition to two outstanding members of staff:
Andreas at the pool bar: A special thank you to Andreas for his friendly attitude and excellent service. Staff members like him make guests feel genuinely welcome and contribute to the relaxed holiday atmosphere.
Gabija at the Kids Club: Another very special thank you to Gabija, whose kindness and welcoming approach helped make our daughter's experience so enjoyable. Seeing our daughter having such a wonderful time at the Kids Club was one of the highlights of our stay. It is always reassuring for parents to know that their children are happy and enjoying themselves.
Having visited Chrysomare regularly over several years, we are particularly pleased that the hotel continues to maintain such good standards. What initially impressed us as a brand-new beachfront resort has developed into a place we genuinely enjoy returning to, now not only as a couple but also as a family.
We did not use the Spa facilities on this particular visit, although we have enjoyed them during previous stays.
Overall, another thoroughly enjoyable stay. Chrysomare continues to hold a special place in our hearts, and we look forward to returning for many more family getaways and anniversary celebrations.
