Good but not great
Good but not great. My forth time at this hotel and my previous 3 times have been excellent. However on this occasion I feel that things have been allowed to slip slightly. Explanation below
The sliding glass door near the Italian restaurant was broken for the duration of our 12 days.
The chicken nuggets were rubbish and they’ve clearly changed suppliers. Last year the chicken nuggets were excellent.
The entertainment. The entertainment has never been a highlight at this hotel and that is fine. However this year it was even worse than previous years. TUI reps not turning up and whole days with no entertainment happened on more than one occasion.
There seemed to be big groups of loud mouthed English wedding parties. I’ve not experienced this before in the previous 3 years.
Cockroaches. I know this is Cyprus and cockroaches are a thing here. However, on my previous 3 stays at the hotel I haven’t seen a single one. However this time I saw more than 1 and on more than 1 occasion. This to me suggest that cleaning standards have slipped,
Would I stay again? Maybe, if these concerns are addressed
Disgusting and Appalling Hotel That Failed a Child During a Severe Allergic Reaction
PLEASE AVOID THIS HOTEL!! DANGER TO LIFE!!
My son has severe food allergies, and we made the hotel fully aware of his condition well before booking, again before flying out, and once more when we arrived. We could not have been clearer about how serious his allergies were.
Despite this, my son suffered a severe allergic reaction, and we had to arrange and pay for a taxi to the nearest hospital, which was around 20 minutes away. What made the situation even worse was the hotel’s complete lack of help, compassion, and understanding during what was an extremely frightening experience for our family.
After spending hours in hospital, we returned to the hotel with our two young children, only to have my son refused food by the hotel. The hotel manager’s behaviour was absolutely disgusting. He was shockingly rude, cold, and completely unsympathetic. Rather than showing even the slightest concern for a child who had just suffered a serious allergic reaction, he spoke to us in an aggressive and dismissive manner and refused to serve us any food at all. He showed no compassion, offered no assistance, and appeared completely indifferent to the distress our family was experiencing.
I have never been treated with such disrespect, particularly during such a frightening medical emergency. His attitude was disgraceful and utterly unacceptable.
We were left with no choice but to leave the hotel. At around 11pm, with two young children, we were roaming the streets of Ayia Napa trying to find somewhere else to stay.
On top of everything we experienced, the hotel had zero entertainment, and the cleanliness was unacceptable, including bedsheets with hairs and stains.
The way we were treated was absolutely appalling. When a hotel has been repeatedly informed about a child’s serious food allergies, you expect the staff to take that information seriously and, at the very least, show some compassion and assistance when something goes terribly wrong.
Please think very carefully before booking this hotel, especially if you are travelling with young children or anyone with food allergies. We would absolutely NEVER stay here again.

It was nice , that’s it - nice . Not the experience I’ve previously had with other TUI blue hotels . That being said , there was nothing really wrong , it was ok . We arrived in the middle of the night , and there was no welcome drink and only a poor sandwich on offer . Got to the room and the only drink in the fridge was bottled water . The à la carte Italian was ok - but the only à la carte on site . The beach in front of the hotel was not useable . There was daily water aerobics but otherwise , entertainment throughout the day was poor . Evening entertainment was non existent . On the plus side - the staff were exceptional , the swim up rooms were nice and the sun beds were never a struggle to get . I hate to be negative , but I don’t know how it was a TUI blue ? The hotel was also recommended to me by a TUI rep who had recently visited and could not stop raving about it I was told .

Returned from this Hotel September 2nd this Holiday was booked through TUI, all inclusive, on arrival we had two porters collect our luggage from our coach transfer, whilst booking in my husband & i was given a welcome drink then one of the porters came with us to show us our room taking all our cases with him to the front door, Where do i start? All staff from Reception , to the chef , waiters, restaurant managers Bar staff , TUI REPS absolutely amazing , food spoilt for choice , rooms kept clean I was celebrating my 65th Birthday, whilst in the restaurant the staff came out with a beautiful cake lit up with a candle and sang to me along with a bottle of bubbly such friendly accommodating staff, nothing was too much for them, the Hotel was near the Ayia Napa strip but the more quieter end and set back to the sea view. Carl Tui pool side entertainment for all ages & Melisa Tui staff visibly around and gave us loads of advise on places to go and visit on a bus 2€ We visited Nisi Beach which was lovely but personally i enjoyed the Macorronis beach 1 mile further up, we hired a scooter for the day had great fun touring around seeing other parts of Hubby & i enjoyed our stay and would definitely return to this Hotel again
Hidden Gem 💎 but needs more entertainment
WOW From the moment we walked into Atlantica SunGarden Park, our first impressions were absolutely amazing. From reception to the porters, every member of staff was extremely friendly, welcoming and polite.
The hotel itself is exceptionally clean — honestly, it is the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in. Absolutely spotless everywhere you look, and you can really see how much pride the staff take in keeping the whole place so well maintained.
But what really makes this hotel stand out is the staff. They are, by far, some of the best we have ever experienced. Whether it’s the pool bar staff, the indoor bar staff, reception, restaurant staff or housekeeping, every single person has been so friendly, helpful and attentive.
Nothing is ever too much trouble, and they always greet you with a smile. You genuinely feel welcomed and looked after from the moment you arrive. The level of service has been exceptional throughout our stay, and the staff deserve enormous credit for making this hotel such a special place.
I completely understand that the hotel’s entertainment concept is designed around a more relaxed atmosphere rather than a full programme of nightly shows, and I appreciate that this is part of the hotel’s positioning and is communicated to tour operators.
However, I do feel that even a small amount of evening entertainment would make a huge difference. It wouldn’t need to be a full programme or elaborate production every night — even just 45 minutes of live music from a singer, a small show or some form of entertainment would really bring the hotel to life in the evenings, as we found the evening’s to be quite boring this is the only fault I have.
Atlantica SunGarden Park. It has exceeded our expectations in every way, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, exceptionally clean hotel with outstanding staff and service.
