The Asterias Beach Hotel, 4* hotel, is situated at the Eastern Part of Cyprus, in the well-known area of Makronissos Beach with its panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea and natural surrounding, only a small distance away from the traditional picturesque fishing shelter of the area. The Spa was great! We loved it and the staff of the spa was very kind
Restaurant attire
I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was incredibly frustrating. I arrived at the restaurant wearing a clean shirt and long pants, only to be told that my attire was not acceptable and that I would not be allowed inside. It was embarrassing and confusing, especially when other guests were being admitted wearing tiny shorts and much more casual clothing.
What made matters worse was the lack of any clear explanation. The dress code seemed to be enforced selectively, which felt unfair and unprofessional. A policy should apply equally to everyone, not depend on who happens to be standing in front of the staff.
This incident left me feeling unwelcome and put a damper on what should have been an enjoyable stay. For a hotel of this standard, I expected better service and more consistent treatment. Unfortunately, this experience alone would make me think twice about returning.
Additionally, my boyfriend and I requested three separate times for our room to be changed to a proper double bed, as the two single beds pushed together kept separating and we were constantly falling into the gap. Despite repeatedly asking for a double bed, the only solution provided was to throw a sheet over the two singles and call it a day. It was uncomfortable and far from what we expected.

The whole experience exceeded our expectations! Amazingly friendly and professional staff. We never felt like we lacked anything, the staff are very attentive to their customers and treat them with the utmost respect. The room was clean and tidy, the food was wery good aswell. Really nothing bad to say about the whole experience. I would wholeheartedly recommend checking out the SPA and asking for a massage. Once at the SPA ask for Shaggy, he will be able to make u a nice discount should you decide to go for a massage. In my case the masseuse was a lady called Dora, very professional, friendly, and has managed to get rid of my backpain in three sittings, something i was struggling with for months. Thank you once again to the whole staff at Asterias Beach Hotel, and a special thank you to Dora and Shaggy. We will certainly return.

Absolutely beautiful! Everything here is amazing. Hotel is positioned right at the sea, it has a very nice pool, the staff is absolutely amazing 👏 . They are very friendly, helpful and they meet every need you have. The food is just simply delicious, you will definitely enjoy the food, the view, everything. The hotel is clean, there are improvements points and some updates to the rooms ( specially bathrooms) that could be made, but overall hotel is clean. The beds are clean, which for me is very important, pillows do not smell, so on that perspective, is a very big plus point so you do not have to worry about it not being clean. I recommend booking a massage through Saggy, amazing guy and very friendly. If you book a massage, please choose for Dora, she is awesome 👌, she is the very best, you will feel like a new persone after the massage. For us, it was an amazing vacation, so good that we want to come back next year.
