An elegant and exclusive 3-star hotel consisting of 90 rooms. It stands directly on the famous and panoramic SANDY BAY in the famous resort of AYIA NAPA. The size of the hotel and the personal friendly service creates an atmosphere of a big family, which ensures an unforgettable holiday. Ideally located within the area of Ayia Napa. Only 15 minutes walk from the town centre, facing a famous bay with white sand. Accompanied with exotic gardens and trees offers privacy and relaxation.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We had a fantastic stay at Anonymous Beach Hotel. It may officially be a three-star hotel, but for us it was a four-star experience. I’ve stayed in several four-star hotels that weren’t a patch on this one.
From the moment we arrived, the hotel made a great first impression. The reception area is very smart, with marble, pillars and the striking blue domed ceiling. Check-in was friendly, quick and straightforward.
Our room was clean, comfortable and looked as though it had been modernised fairly recently. There was plenty of storage for the two of us, and the beds deserve a special mention. The deep mattresses were incredibly comfortable and we slept very well. The bathroom was a good size too. The only real downside to the room was the balcony, which was very small. There was room for two chairs and a little table, but not much else.
Breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choice. There was a full cooked breakfast as well as cereals, fruit, cold meats, cheeses and other options. I particularly liked the potato croquettes at breakfast. My only minor complaint was the size of the plates — they were more like side plates than proper breakfast plates, so fitting a cooked breakfast on one could be a challenge.
The staff were one of the best things about the hotel. Everyone we dealt with — reception, housekeeping, breakfast, bar, restaurant and pool staff — was friendly, helpful and professional. Because many of the same staff worked around the hotel throughout the day, you got to recognise them and actually talk to them, which gave the hotel a very friendly and personal atmosphere.
A special mention has to go to Sita and Gabi. Sita was consistently friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Gabi greeted us at breakfast and regularly asked how we were, whether we had slept well and whether we were enjoying our holiday. It never felt like routine small talk; she seemed genuinely interested in making sure we were having a good stay.
The pool area was peaceful and relaxing. It isn't a huge pool, but it was easily big enough, with plenty of sunbeds. Being an adults-only hotel also meant there were no screaming children around the pool, which made for a very relaxed atmosphere. There is also a lovely patio and seating area where you can have a drink or something to eat. We used the pool bar every day for beers and cocktails, and there was never any feeling that you were being rushed.
The location couldn't have been much better. The beach is less than a two-minute walk from the hotel, and there are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby — you're spoiled for choice when it comes to somewhere to eat. Bus services made it easy to get around as well. They could sometimes be delayed, but Google Maps was constantly updated with the revised arrival times, so we always knew when the bus was actually due.
Despite being close to everything, the hotel was very quiet at night. The air conditioning worked well, and with the balcony doors closed we weren't disturbed by outside noise.
There was also entertainment at the hotel on alternate evenings, including things such as a fire show and tribute entertainment, along with special meal options. We didn't attend the shows ourselves, so I can't comment on their quality, but it was nice to have the option.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The few little niggles were exactly that — little niggles — and were completely outweighed by the comfort, location, relaxed atmosphere and, above all, the excellent staff.
Would I stay at Anonymous Beach Hotel again? Absolutely. If I could afford it, I'd live there.
The location, concerning the access to the beach, is amazing! The atmosphere at the hotel is calm and relaxing. Nothing to complain about the rooms as they get cleaned every morning except under the beds that was dusty. The breakfast buffet has multi-good options. What makes the experience special is the friendliness of the staff, they were just lovely!
The overall look was nice and clean. However, the room was pretty dirty the hole time. The bathroom tiles was moldy, as well as the showerheads. The pool area was nice but too little. There wasn’t enough sunbeds compared to the number of the quests. The breakfast was really good and there were pretty many options.
good location, a bit away from the central of ayia napa, right by the beach, good atmosphere around the pools and in the resturant/breakfast place. rooms are exactly what you would expect, nothing special but it works as it should. i’d say it’s a very good value hotel.
Lovely hotel the food is excellent and the friendliest hotel is have ever stayed in. Always a sunbed available and the staff are a credit to the hotel so friendly and helpfull from the cleaners to the bar staff. Will definitely be returning 😊
