Hotel was chaotic, rude guests, arguments erupting everywhere and staff not intervening. People I knew who have stayed here on many occasions were saying never again. This should not be a 5* hotel. Parts of the hotel are very dated without air con and the bedrooms and pool areas far from clean. I’ve stayed in many hotels around the world, Adams beach has a lot to do to match a proper 5*
We had a truly wonderful experience at Adams Beach Hotel in Cyprus! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
From the moment we arrived, everything was excellent. We were delighted to receive a complimentary upgrade to an Adults Only Deluxe Room, which made our stay even more special. The adults-only area of the hotel was incredibly peaceful and relaxing, with no children in that section, making it perfect for a quiet and relaxing holiday.
We also really enjoyed the Atlantis Restaurant, which was excellent. The atmosphere was calm and peaceful, the service was great, and the food throughout our stay was absolutely delicious, with plenty of variety.
The hotel has beautiful swimming pools and great facilities. The hotel beach is lovely, although there are some rocks in the water. However, the famous Nissi Beach is only about 300 meters away and is definitely one of the most beautiful beaches in Cyprus! 🏖️🌊
Overall, we had an amazing stay and created some wonderful memories. The upgrade, the peaceful adults-only area, Atlantis Restaurant, the delicious food and the beautiful surroundings made our holiday truly special.
We would happily return to Adams Beach Hotel and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful and relaxing stay in Cyprus. Thank you for making our holiday so memorable! ❤️
Very good location. The atmosphere was good. The room was good, but the clean needs to be improved.
Extremely disappointing experience – nowhere near the standard expected for the price
We stayed at Adams Beach Hotel for a week, and unfortunately, it was one of the worst hotel experiences we have ever had. The hotel was completely full, and it was obvious that there were simply not enough staff members to provide the level of service promised – especially considering the amount of money we paid. If a hotel does not have the capacity to provide the product and service it advertises, it is difficult to understand why it continues accepting reservations at full occupancy.
The room and cleanliness were unacceptable. We found a cockroach in the room, hair on supposedly clean towels, mold in the shower, and so much dirt around the faucet handles that they were difficult to turn. The shower floor was dangerously slippery – I actually slipped, and after that I learned to put a towel on the floor just to shower safely.
We repeatedly asked for a bed guard for our daughter. We were told that the hotel had one available and that it would be brought to us. One bed had a guard, the other did not. We asked again almost every day, and it never arrived.
Even after the room had supposedly been cleaned and the floor washed, walking barefoot left visible dirt stuck to the soles of our feet. Absolutely disgusting.
The pool area was just as bad. The pools were extremely crowded, and the water did not feel clean at all. An excessive amount of hair kept sticking to my body, there were insects in the water and different kinds of debris. I cannot say whether this was a filtration or maintenance issue, but the amount of dirt in the water was simply unacceptable.
The hotel also clearly states that guests are not allowed to reserve sunbeds by leaving towels and personal belongings on them. In reality, this rule was not enforced at all. By around 9:00 a.m., most of the desirable sunbeds were already “reserved” with towels and belongings, while there were perhaps four people actually in the pools. When we complained to staff, we were simply told that there was nothing they could do.
So there is apparently a rule, but absolutely no intention to enforce it.
The public toilets inside the hotel also had an overwhelming smell of mold, to the point that it was genuinely difficult to stay inside.
What disappointed me most of all was the hotel’s response – or rather, the complete lack of one. I sent the hotel a detailed email describing all of these issues during our stay. To this day, I have not received any response whatsoever. Not even a basic acknowledgement of a complaint from guests who paid a significant amount of money to stay there.
A hotel can be busy, and occasional problems can happen. But this was not one isolated incident. It was a combination of extremely poor cleanliness, inadequate maintenance, insufficient service, lack of rule enforcement, and complete disregard for a written complaint.
If you want to actually enjoy your holiday and receive at least the minimum standard of cleanliness and service you are paying for, I strongly recommend choosing somewhere else.
Just got back from a week Adams beach. It’s a beautiful hotel, we had a lovely room, the location is excellent and right on the beach, walking distance to great restaurants. The pools were really nice.
The only issue was the other guests in August. The hotel was at full capacity which we expected but the majority of the guests were from the Middle East which wasn’t a problem but they were very rude to staff, shouting at the reception staff, taking other people’s sunbeds and women fighting over sunbeds on several occasions with security having to intervene, throwing their cigarette buts on the pool floor, storming into lifts ahead of people waiting, using their hands to pick up food at breakfast instead of the spoons/tongs and allowing their children to do the same. I could go on.
It’s such a shame because it’s a lovely hotel and I feel bad for the staff there. My husband ordered a drink at the bar one afternoon and the barman didn’t charge my husband because he said he was the first person to be polite to him all day.
I’d love to go back to Adam’s beach but this has really put us off.
