Best hotel in the world
The Amara hotel is simply the best hotel in the world. My wife and I recently came back from the best stay from this incredible hotel. We spent a few weeks at the hotel and from start to finish (although we wished it would never end) everything was simply incredible. The staff, service, amenities, breakfast, food and our room were all exceptional. We felt at home right from the very start, and the Amara hotel goes above and beyond any hotel I’ve ever experienced. A special mention has to go to Maya (the guest relations manager) who is the nicest manager a hotel could ever wish for. Any request I had was always fulfilled right away and I can’t thank her enough for always giving us the best stay anyone could ever wish for. I would also like to thank, Katarina, Maria, Chadi, Elio, Lydia, Andri and there are so many others that always make us feel at home. Thank you to the whole Amara team, we look forward to returning very soon!

Leaving the hotel extremely satisfied
I honestly didn’t expect to love AMARA as much as I did. I knew it had a great reputation, but I wasn’t expecting it to be this good. The photos really don’t do it justice.
The hotel is very tasteful. From the art to the overall design, every detail and finish feels impeccable without being overdone.
Everyone working there was great, but a special mention to Ali M. at the pool. He was extremely attentive and really looked after me, especially after finding out we were both Arab. Just genuinely warm and hospitable.
Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel, service and atmosphere were all excellent. Easily one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at and, for me, probably the best in Cyprus.
Pool bar
Really nice hotel, Well fit for couples with Michelin Star restaurants that are WOW. We spent most of our time at the pool where we received amazing service.
A special mention to Ali M., who was an absolutely wonderful server. He was friendly, attentive, professional, and genuinely made us feel very welcome. He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and added a really lovely touch to our experience.
Thank you, Ali, and the whole team at Amara Pool Bar & Restaurant for such a relaxing and enjoyable time. We’ll definitely be back!
Stay at Amara
Great venue with lots of helpful staff - especially Ali M. (Pool) and Ramon (Beach). Very attentive staff and are available at all times. Hotel is generally clean with really good restaurants. Breakfast experience is great.
Room size is great with great views of the sea.
Quick response from the maintenance crews at the hotel - also very helpful.
Had some issues at check in with regards to rooms selected - hotel staff was of great help and moved us to another room immediately.
Recommended venue - but should have a car handy as there is some distance to get to downtown.
Another WONDERFUL Stay at the Amara
Well another wonderful stay at the Amara Hotel comes to a reluctant end. We couldn’t have wished for a better hotel to stay in, in the whole of Cyprus, in fact anywhere in the world. It beats them all hands down. From the moment you approach the entrance, you are met wth the stunning views that belies the frontage from the outside. Everywhere you are you are virtually guaranteed a spectacular sea view whether from your well appointed room, to any of the amazing restaurants the hotel has on offer. But the Amaras jewel in their crown isn’t the wonderful surroundings or views but its staff. NOTHING, and I really mean NOTHING is too much trouble to ask. From the check in staff, guest relations, to our breakfast staff, to housekeeping who keep the hotel immaculate and senior management who are visible and certainly approachable . Every request/need was met with such a positive attitude and always a genuine welcome & a smile. We have returned several times and lots of staff we recognise from year after year which must say some about the hotel management itself. There is some much more I could write praising the facilities and staff but I would like to say - there is no other hotel I would want to stay in whilst in Cyprus. Special thanks to Maya - the guest relations manager for everything she has done for us every trip to the Amara. To Lucy and colleagues in the breakfast restaurant and to Chadi & his wonderful team around the Pool, beach & Bar.
