Very nice hotel! We had good time by the pool, thanks the team especially Ali m and the rest of the staff make us good service, they are kind and very helpful! We’ll be back next year!
Great stay with a few issues but don’t let the standard drop
So we stay every year and overall we had a great stay. The hotel is still in my opinion the best on the island however a few things let it done regarding our rooms. The pool and beach area we were really well looked after and Ali our pool guys was amazing to be fare they all were. Nothing was an issue. The breakfast was perfect and the staff again over and beyond, can’t ask for anymore. The italian locatelli again was excellent together with the service another great meal. The only let down was when we checked in the room 4015 out of the two was a little run down with stains on the floor from the middle of the room to the patio area, the stool at the end of the bed was badly stained. The shower room had black mould on the grout in more than one place. I did notice that the shower gel provided in the shower was slightly watery but on the last few days they really watered in down and this was no mistake. The min bar was not restocked unless we asked for it to happen on a few occasions . When your paying this sort of money you don’t expect this. I did complain but heard nothing of it. There is a level of standard expected at this price range and the room was not what we would expect. I will return as we have done for the past 5/6 years but let’s hope this is a one off!!!

Best hotel in Cyprus
Great Hotel and AAA services. Ali (Pakistan) is one of a kind guy and he will take care of everythinhg you need before you even know you needed it.
10/10 hotel in every aspect
This was our second stay at Amara, and once again it exceeded all of our expectations. We honestly can’t fault this hotel in any way – everything about it is exceptional, and it’s become one of our favourite places to stay.
The rooms are beautiful, and the restaurants are all outstanding. Beefbar, Nerea and Nobu were all absolutely faultless, with amazing food and fantastic service every time.
What really makes this hotel stand out though is the people. Every member of staff made us feel so welcome, and there are a few people who deserve a special mention:
Maya – The best host we could have asked for. Maya went above and beyond throughout our stay and made everything absolutely perfect. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and she genuinely cared about making our holiday special. Thank you for everything – you’re amazing!
Elio – Such a genuinely lovely person. He looked after us every single day by the pool and always made sure we had everything we needed. We looked forward to seeing Elio everyday. He works incredibly hard, always with a smile, and really is a huge asset to the hotel. It was a pleasure getting to know him for the second time and we formed a genuine friendship.
Ali M – Another fantastic member of the team. Ali was always checking in on us by the pool, making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. He went out of his way to help us every day, and his kindness and work ethic really stood out.
Ali Pak – An incredibly brilliant member of the team. Ali was always around the pool everyday, working tirelessly while remaining professional, polite and friendly at all times. He was always checking if we needed anything and made sure we were looked after throughout our stay from the moment we came down to the pool.
We honestly can’t wait to come back for a third visit. Thank you to everyone at Amara for another unforgettable stay.
Amazing at Amara
This was our first time at Amara and I was fantastic. Hotel and facilities were amazing. Ali down at the pool has been amazing and nothing was too much trouble.
