This establishment offers guests comfortable accommodation and a wonderful starting point for those who would like to explore Croatia. The wonderful hotel is proud of its rich history. The building dates back to the Austro-Hungarian era. The hotel cherishes the charm and ambience of the time, but has been recently refurbished and provided with modern amenities needed to ensure a pleasant stay. The property boasts a beautiful location with plentifully gardens and thriving pedestrian boulevards of shops, cafes and restaurants. The beach is just 150 m away making it easy for guest to enjoy various water sports in the summer months. Dubrovnik Old Town is only 3 km away and is easily reached via public transport.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
solid experience - great rooms, great location
We stayed nearby and visited for a meal in the restaurant. The service and food were excellent. Would visit again when back in Zagreb. We really enjoyed the visit and meal. What we did however find odd was that there was a separate wine room which they sometime open for wine and meat/cheese was closed as that was what we really wanted. We were told it was open seasonal ??? We found this as odd as it looked very good and i,m sure would be busy if open and advertised.
This was the worst hotel experience of our trip to Croatia. The room had stained carpets, toothpaste residue under the sink, a fridge that did not cool, one torn bathrobe and another that was dirty. The conditioner was empty, while the shower gel dispenser fell onto my foot. The worst part was when the air conditioning stopped working during the night. We woke up at 2:00 a.m. with severe headaches and dry throats. I had to go downstairs in my pyjamas to collect the key to another room. By the time room 345 cooled down, we managed to sleep for only another one or two hours. When I contacted the hotel, the “resolution” they offered was a complimentary room upgrade if I returned in the future—even though I am an international guest living in another country. An unacceptable experience and a very disappointing response from a five-star hotel. Stay AWAY
Another perfect stay at the Sheraton Zagreb Hotel! The room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and the bed was incredibly relaxing. The check-in was seamless, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful.
The breakfast was amazing, with lots of fresh and delicious options. The Italian restaurant also deserves a special mention the food was absolutely delicious! The bar had a lovely, peaceful ambience, and the bartender was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a drink.
The hotel is also within walking distance of the city centre, which makes it very convenient for exploring Zagreb.
Overall, an amazing hotel with excellent service, great food, and a relaxing atmosphere. I would definitely recommend it and would happily stay here again! 😊🏨🇭🇷✨
