The popular promenade is within walking distance, and a bus that goes to the Old town stops just in front of the hotel. Dubrovnik Airport is approximately 23 km away. The cosy and comfortable are carefully decorated and equipped with details that make all stays pleasant and priceless. The restaurant features one of Dubrovnik's most beautiful terraces with magnificent sea views and serves tantalising dishes, with a wine list to match. Those who want to enjoy a light Mediterranean meal and a chilled drink can visit the Lido beach bar, it is also the place from where to grab a colourful cocktail during the day while enjoying the pebbled beach.

Hostel not Hotel
Booked a twin room which was old, worn with a musty smell and dirty carpets. The room itself was small and more like a hostel room than a hotel. The carpets in corridors to the rooms were also stained and dirty. Good points were location on the beach and breakfast. However, they charge 40 euros for two sun beds with an umbrella that barely covered you from the sun and were continuously blowing away.
Not the best
Friendly staff and a good breakfast the highlight. This hotel is nearer 2*. Corridors carpets and rooms all need replacing and redecorating. Very tatty and tired looking. Had to change original room due to uncomfortable creaky bed. Kettle in room would be good. Problem for anyone with children or mobility issues is steps down from road and despite the hotel having 3 levels there is no lift and no assistance with luggage. Beach service would be improved by sun loungers being free to residents and beach towels being provided.

Location excellent cant be beaten ! What a lovely authentic hotel ! Staff cant do enough for you x Please keep it the same it would spoil the whole experience if they changed it into a Spa Hotel !!! Rooms need kettles and a fridge but not a major issue x Staff in beachside bar and terrace bar cant do enough for you ! So relaxing. Depends what you're looking for but we have loved it 100 per cent. We booked bed and breakfast and breakfast is lovely. Also to have evening buffet meal if you want x Having a fantastic relaxing time what a holiday is all about x Thank you hotel Vis from lizzie and Jeff xxx Ps Ladies that clean the rooms everyday are always polite nothing is an issue if you want something done . Top Marks for this Hotel
Do not expect 5 Star hotel sray at this establishment. However value for Money it is! The Hotel is in need of TLC, but mainly superficial.
The Rooms are more than adequate and the communal areas are realy good.
Large Reception area and Breakfast and Dinner Room areas are realy good and well laid out and the Trerice together with the Dinning are have absolutely magnificent views.
The Staff and Sevice was outstanding and certainly to a 5 Star level.
I have travelled extensively over the Years and I can confirm that the service was one of the best, if. Not the best.
We had quite an issue when we arrived and checked in.
The Hotel Reception informed us that the Room had been cancelled by Hotels.com. So we had to pay again. We checked in and payed once again for our stay.
I contacted the Manager. Was extremely helpful and went out of the Way to resolve the issues.
When he got back to me, he advised me that the Hotel had not cancelled the booking and had not charged me for the cancellation.
However Hotels.com had and had taken the Payment and was going to hold on to it.
The Hotel Manager etc went out of their way to resolve the issue and directed us back to Hotels.com for a refund with their support.
I am pleased to announce that my Money has now been returned, mainly due to the Support of Vis Hotels Team.
I would most certainly recommend this Hotel.
On the Down side. There is no lift to the upper floors and there are many steps to negotiate and Reseption is down very steep Stairway, over all you could not want for a better place to stay.
I don't normally write reviews, but this Hotel certinly Deserves a mention. Any negative comments on here are more likely to be from people experiencing 4 or 5 star rating. It is what it is and we will certainly be returning.
The Bus Sevice from the Hotel and into Dubrovnik run every 15 minutes. Last bus back from Dubrovnik is l believe about 1 pm.
Restful break close to bustling Dubrovnik.
This hotel is in an excellent position and has extremely helpful staff. The breakfast is great as is the outside sitting space and beach restaurant. Some of the rooms need updating but have everything needed in working order and clean.
