Great place, great atmosphere
Outstanding stay, both hotel and Olíva Grill by the pool. Great food, relaxed and calm atmosphere. Very friendly and service minded staff, special shout out to Mario. Big hearts and huge professionalism. A visit is a must.
Wonderful stay
We had a wonderful time at Valamar Tirena hotel. We are a family of 5 and had 2 interconnecting rooms with a magnificent sea view. The rooms were beautifully decorated with a separate shower and bath . The beds were very comfortable. The kids loved the pools and Maro Club. The staff were friendly and attentive. A special mention to one waiter in particular who worked in the poolside restaurant, Mario, who really went above and beyond to ensure we had an enjoyable stay. Our kids loved interacting with him. Would highly recommend Valamar Tirena hotel to other families.

Amazing stay - we can’t wait to return!
We stayed for 6 nights at the Valamar Tirena during May half term and the whole trip was amazing.
Firstly the room was lovely, exactly as the picture with plenty of space. The pool is great with plenty of sunbeds. We always went in the afternoon and didn’t have any issues getting 2 beds in the shade or a cabana. My 8 year old loved the slides and the pool. The water temp was quite cold but it didn’t stop us going in as the weather was quite hot every day. We ate at Oliva by the pool several days and the service from Mario was excellent.
We were half board so ate at the hotel for breakfast and dinner and there was always something different plus the usual breakfast options. For dinner there were lots of hot options, usually some kind of roasted meat, steak or fish being freshly cooked. Kids pasta station where they could request their own dish. Pizza, loads of salad, cheeses, puddings and ice cream. Always a different hot pudding every night which my child loved - pancakes, fruit crumble, mini doughnuts. My child is quite fussy and had no problems at all eating every there most evenings. Matea in the restaurant was so lovely.
Maro World was absolutely amazing and really made the holiday so memorable for my child. There was so much to do and we spent lots of time there every day. We loved the trampolines, indoor soft play and the gaming. It was all so fun and always clean and never felt super busy. We didn’t use the kids club where you leave your child but did have a look around in there and it looked great.
Unfortunately whilst we were there, my child was unwell on one of the days. The service from the staff was absolutely amazing and I’m so grateful to them for the help they gave us. We thanked them once he was better and when we returned after dinner there was a big goody bag for him in our room, with a colouring book, cuddly toy and lots more. It was so thoughtful and we really appreciated it.
