AMAZING FROM START TO FINISH
People who leave rubbish reviews on this hotel need to put themselves in a time out!
Our first time staying at Lacroma and I CANNOT fault this hotel 1 bit. There was 2 adults & 1 child.
The restaurant doesn't really cater for children of an evening BUT the chef had no problem in making my son food catered to a 3 year old which was 5 star service!.
Every staff member was friendly and helpful.
All the restaurant staff work so hard in clearing plates etc very quickly so hats off to them!
Breakfast was another level, literally everything you could think of they had, AMAZING.
The number 6 bus it at the top of the road so 1 minute walk and goes straight into the old town for €2.50 each.
Maro world was 10/10 too, which is exclusive for Valamar guests and we were there every night of our holiday & catered for all child ages.
We did go to the Tirena outdoor pool to use as this had slides etc but used the indoor pool at Lacroma which is huge.
We have never been so relaxed on a holiday thank at Lacroma. Even though Tirena is more catered to children I would still choose Lacroma just because of the service alone.
The beach is a 5 min walk away, yes it's pebbles but I preferred this to sand.
We caught a water boat from old torn to Lokrum island which is a must and also the panoramic restaurant which you catch the cable cars to, this is also a must but pre book.
The bed OMG the bed, so comfy. The views from our balcony were stunning, best sunset views.
We are already looking to re book!

October visit
Great spa experience. Property has everything needed for a family trip with young kids. Visited in October and the rain didn’t spoil the experience because the amenities were great.

Super hotel
Wow an amazing 4 star hotel. Surrounded by other Valamar hotels that you can also use facilities in. Food is top notch, fresh and plenty of choice. We booked our whole trip from Kotor to Dubrovnik and now onto Split through @Balkan escapes in UK and everything has been thought through to the smallest details, transfers, flights, ferries, hotels etc been so easy to navigate.

A relaxed stay with friendly staff
I stayed for a week at the Lacroma and would recommend it. A large comfortable room, great bathroom and patio area. The housekeeping staff do a fantastic job keeping everything clean.
Breakfast was great and the staff work very hard to make sure tables are cleared and the food is replenished. Loved the freshly made omelettes. Dinner was a bit hit and miss but I didn't go hungry. One bugbear is that the signs for the food are always in tiny print - even with glasses they were hard to read!!!
The grounds are spacious and interlink with the other Valamar hotels. There's a shopping area nearby with some restaurants which are in the middle of the complex.
Location wise it's perfect. There is a lovely calm walk along the promenade in to Lapad town, or a short walk to the Copacabana beach. If you are getting the bus in to the old town I would recommend walking to the bus stop outside the President hotel. This is the first stop on the #6 route that goes in to the old town, and you are pretty much guaranteed a seat or buggy space. By the next stop on the main road outside the Lacroma there are usually a lot more people waiting and it's more of as scrum.
Excellent day at the spa, gym and pool
The spa, pool and massage experience was wonderful, perfect for a rare rainy day. The massage is highly recommendable, relaxing and yet addressing muscle tension. Thank you
