10/10 stay at the Valamar Argosy
The Valamar Argosy is a fantastic choice to stay on the Dubrovnik Coast area. The hotel is a 15 minute bus ride from the old town on a beautiful peninsula, with 3 pools to choose from overlooking the Adriatic. The hotel is literally across the road from the first stop on the bus to the old town, meaning guests are always the first to board the busy service. The hotel is clean and inviting, the food is fresh with plenty of choice to suit all tastes and the staff are friendly and offer excellent service whether it’s reception, poolside bar staff or restaurant staff. Rooms are clean and modern with everything you would want. Staying here you also benefit from a discount at the private beach of the neighbouring Valamar President. Would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone considering this hotel.

Great experience
Nice hotel, quiet, friendly staff, good food. Nice town with restaurants and shops a short walk along the promenade.

Amazing hotel with the best staff! Everyone is so kind the facilities are gorgeous, bar staff is incredible. The only bad thing is when you have to leave! We can’t wait to be back!

Fantastic Hotel
Fantastic hotel in a quiet location. Food was great with lots of choice. Staff are friendly and polite. The rooms are a good size, with lots of places to sit and relax around the hotel. The pools are great, lots of sunbeds available, so no rushing in the morning. The views from the pool and the restaurant are amazing. The hotel is clean, quiet and in a beautiful location. There is a bus stop nearby that takes you to the old town and the promenade is about 5 mins from the hotel. We had a great time and would highly recommend.
Great holiday, but no dairy free.
Holidayed with my daughter for 6 days. Lovely hotel, clean, attentive staff, good location, quiet. Pool area is exceptional, no dash for sun beds, lots of different areas to sit. Just one thing was disappointing. If you are dairy free it is a struggle at meal times. Ingredients are not listed unless you are gluten free or vegan. Sadly for someone with a sweet tooth there were no dairy free pastry or dessert options at breakfast or dinner.
