Valamar Argosy - Great Hotel in Dubrovnik
Great location near the center of Dubrovnik and The Old Town. Fantastic view over the bay leading into the Dubrovnik Cruise ship harbor. Great 4* Hotel within the Valam Hotel Group, with a fantastic group of staff in every department. Great restaurants and pool area. We will be back soon again ( this was our 4th visit😀👍) Br Goran and Eva Loov ( Sweden)
Honeymoon Bliss
A wonderful stay! Beautiful hotel, lovely and clean. We had the best time for our honeymoon. Highly recommended. All staff welcoming and made our stay more enjoyable.
Perfect holiday in a beautiful location
Absolutely loved our stay at Argosy! We arrived before the check in time and our room wasn’t ready but we went for a walk around the hotel and it was obvious, the location was beautiful. Once our room was ready, it was a double not the twin we had requested so the room was changed and it was no longer a garden room booked but by then, we weren’t going to change again! After this early hiccup, the rest of our time went by perfectly. Jovana who greeted us in the restaurant on most days was lovely, always smiling and the food was next level. We stayed half board and at breakfast and dinner there was so much variety, catering for all tastes. The chefs were very polite and friendly too. The hotel itself was very clean and had a relaxed atmosphere with lots of little quiet areas to sit and enjoy, the courtyard, the library, the two outdoor pools (no rush for a sunbed). On most days, at 11am, there was 30 minutes of aquafit with Tony who was brilliant. Great tunes and a good routine and then back to relaxing ☺️ The location is in an area of a handful of hotels surrounded by trees and all low level. There is a bus stop just outside the hotel to old town (20 minutes) and it’s a short walk to the beach and promenade. This hotel and holiday is perfect for downtime, great food and an ideal location to relax and go for a walk and also to explore further afield with Dubrovnik old town and trips to local islands easily accessible and trips even further, eg to Mostar and Montenegro, if you wanted to.
