Great location, but building site next door ruined it
Location great, very near all the bars and restaurants. We had a park side room. Air-conditioning didn't really work, fixtures and fittings outdated and need modernising. We'd suggest selecting another hotel right now though, building work next door is very loud and it's not comfortable at all around the pool. TUI couldn't care less when we complained, but the hotel was great and understood our situation.
Conclusion: hotel good but needs updating, location very good, choose somewhere else though until hotel next door is completed.
Summer holiday
Great hotel, our room was big, cleaned every day ,fresh towels every day , modern bathroom with shower, park view balcony. Food was good from breakfast to evening meal. Pool was good not to many beds but got one every day so can't complain, building work at next door hotel but didn't bother us , wasn't noisy. Had a indoor pool and spa which we didn't use.all staff friendly and efficient. Plenty of bars 10 minute walk away. Great views from hotel over bay .
Friendly happy hotel . Great food .
We were at the Uvala for two weeks . We arrived late on a Thursday evening during a horrendous thunder storm . There was a cold salad left for us in the dinning room as resturant was closed. Then sunshine next morning for two weeks . Very friendly hotel and staff very helpful . The staff in dinning room go out of their way to help you . Special thanks to Joy and Jakob and resturant manager but ball staff great . Great selection at breakfast and dinner . Never had a problem getting a sun bed . Busvstop outside the hotel number 4 takes you direct to old town in 10 minutes . Nice walks around the bay and promenade. We had late pick up on last day . We used the showers late in the afternoon in the spa area to shower and change ready for our transport to airport . The hotel manager was always wandering around checking toymaker sure all was OK and very friendly and chatty. Our room on floor 2 was clean and traditional. Bit of a climb over bath to have a shower . Walk in shower would have been better and easier. But overall a great friendly hotel . We had a great time.
pleasant well placed hotel
Well placed hotel with regular bus service into town. Clean and perfectly pleasant. Lacks any atmosphere within the hotel. Breakfast adequate.
Sad to be leaving
This is our last day at this wonderful hotel, city and country. The hotel is very relaxed and laid back. The staff have been excellent and attentive when required. The rooms are clean and tidy, with daily housekeeping. We stayed in sea view room which i strongly recommend as the views are stunning especially when the sun sets. Dubrovnik old town is easily accessible served by the number 4 bus which stops directly at the hotel. The hotel is located perfectly with restaurants and bars in easy walking distance. The food at the hotel provided a good choice. Breakfast was breakfast and similar to the offer you receive at most hotels in Europe. I don’t particularly like to pick out one staff member over another as this hotel has a clear team approach, but do have to mention Saro who would take time to chat. Well done guys and thank you for the experience it was very special
