Dubrovnik President Valamar Collection is an exquisite 5-star hotel provides you with the ultimate Dubrovnik experience. This luxury hotel is situated in a lush Mediterranean garden above beach. It lies on the coast of the Babin Kuk peninsula, some 6 km from Dubrovnik's old town centre, where guests will find a range of restaurants, nightlife spots, shops and tourist attractions. The 7-storey accommodation is fully air-conditioned and offers 292 rooms, all of which are accessible through lifts and all of rooms with sea view. With luxurious rooms, elegant pools, as well as conference facilities, Internet access and a long list of other amenities it is simply the best choice for a remarkable holiday. Gourmets will not be able to resist the award-winning buffet breakfast in the hotel restaurant or the superb specialities on the à la carte menu of the Miramare restaurant. Valamar signature wellness spa is a relaxation heaven offering various treatments and procedures to guests who need some pampering. Guests looking to get fit can make use of the cardio equipment in the gym, or can try their hand at a range of water sports on the beach in front of the hotel. If travelling with children, get ready to have a blast at Maro World! Just a short walk from the hotel, this 1800 m2 wonderland with endless edutainment options, room with game consoles, table tennis, table football, billiards and board games, outdoor trampoline and much more, is a non-stop thrill ride for all ages.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The location and the idea of what the hotel intends is beautiful. However, certain aspects of the implementation are making the experience less what it purports to be (and for the price, needs to deliver).

Cons:
This is our second year in a row staying at this hotel, and they have once again proven why they deserve all 5 stars. The entire hotel is exceptionally clean, and the beach is perfectly tidy and well maintained. The food is simply outstanding there is more than enough variety, meaning even the pickiest eaters can enjoy premium dishes every day. I must especially highlight the V Level, which is a story of its own and truly provides a special, next-level holiday experience. The entire staff is top-notch, incredibly polite, and welcoming. We had some minor issues, let's call them small misunderstandings at first, but as soon as we pointed them out, they addressed the problem instantly and resolved it. They went above and beyond to help us, which only proves their high level of professionalism. Everything was absolutely brilliant (top-notch), and we will definitely be back again!
Fantastic experience. Waiter was attentive and interesting. Highly recommend
Very disappointed with this hotel. From the reviews I read and the photos shown I was expecting a nicer hotel. The hotel is old and in need of a make over. To get to our room from the lobby you have to walk 200 yards through a maze of hallways that are covered with this old, dirty, stained, very hot and mildew smelling carpet. The room itself was clean, but the bed was very uncomfortable. Worst of all we had a light fixture in the bathroom that at night when you turned off the lights one of the lights inside flickered like a strobe light all night long. We called the front desk after the first night and they said someone will be out to fix it, however it never got fixed. The worst and most annoying part of this 3 night stay was the day we were to check out. We asked if we could have a couple more hours (12pm) to check out, They said yes but for 150 more euros. Really we just paid $1700 euros for 3 night, plus an an extra $300 euros on miscellaneous items, and they wanted to milk us for more. Trust me I could easily afford to pay it. It was more the principal.
Antun was very kind at the hotel
