- Club Dubrovnik Sunny Hotel

This hotel is located on the coast of the picturesque Babin Kuk peninsula, just a few steps to the beach and 6 km from Dubrovnik old town. Dubrovnik Airport can be reached in half an hour drive away. The comfortable rooms offer all the amenities for an exciting and unforgettable holiday. Everyone will have fun at the hotel, with its sports programmes and leisure activities like aqua aerobics and morning gymnastics. The outdoor pool with sun loungers and parasols, and children's swimming area are perfect for a dip. The nearby sandy and pebble beach give guests the chance to try a range of water sports. Its proximity to the beaches, onsite facilities and meals with a wide range of Mediterranean specialties, all combine to make this the ideal holiday destination for the whole family.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
The hotel maintained a high standard of cleanliness, food was of good quality, and provided a nice selection of all inclusive drinks that were included. The hotel premises were maintained in a state of exceptional cleanliness and the quality of service delivered by the hotel personnel was very good, including the upkeep and cleaning of the rooms. Furthermore, its location is conveniently positioned at a manageable distance for travel from the airport, offering straightforward and easy access to local bus transportation routes. The accommodation was comfortable, and the room itself was adequate although somewhat old-fashioned; however, it appears that a renovation of the rooms is currently in progress. I felt that this offered good value for the cost; there is only one swimming pool area available, which is particularly suitable for children.
Great location Perfect stuff Tasty food Nice pool Beautiful beach 3 min walk
Very lovely food, service and atmosphere. Great range of options for food !
Great 7 night stay. Immaculately clean and spacious hotel, friendly staff. Beautiful location, we ate outside for views across the water. Lovely pool, never had any difficulty finding sunbeds or parasols at any time of the day even in August. The pool area is thoroughly cleaned every morning so no one can reserve sunbeds til 8am which was great. A few shops, cafes and bars within a 5 minute stroll of hotel. Pebbly beach is a 3 min walk away from the pool area, the water is crystal clear. It is a family friendly hotel, and there are lots of children. Food was delicious, not the largest selection of food but everything was expertly cooked. Breakfast had a huge choice, 4 different yoghurts (including lactose free), fresh fruit salad and a tinned fruit option. Seeds, nuts and dried fruits to add to the cereal, along with jams, honey, peanut butter. Omelette station, fresh fried eggs, bacon, baked beans, sausages, porridge. In the evenings there was always one freshly cooked meat and/or fish (eg rump steak, pork, chicken, prawns, sea bass, trout), tasty potatoes, a risotto style dish, grilled vegetables, pasta, a stew/ragout, soup, a huge variety of salads with dressings, olive oil, vinegars and herbs/spices. Always a wide variety of fresh breads. The freshly cooked stone baked pizzas were very popular and very tasty. The desserts were wonderful, especially the pannacotta. Drinks were varied, coffees and teas were very good quality as were the cocktails (Hugo Spritz was our favourite) however the soft carbonated drinks were not good but not a huge problem for us as there was water both still and sparkling available too. You can buy branded drinks for a small charge (eg Baileys for €2) Bus stop at the top of the hill about 5 min walk, 10 mins on the bus to Old Town. We walked into Lapad a couple of times along the coast, stunning views. Easy bus trip to Cavtat from Old Town and boat ride €10 back. All in all a great holiday of relaxing and sightseeing, would recommend.
Such a beautiful place, was surprised, rooms basic but clean n everything you need, can have them serviced every day if you want, we didn’t feel the need, pool stunning with views to die for, staff are so lovely n helpful, only a 10 mins by bus or uber drive to Dubrovnik, which is stunning, we did both, only lesson we learnt was if you buy the Dubrovnik pass you have to do the wall in one go, bit disappointed as I have a health condition that prevented me from doing that n not informed when purchasing, this is no reflection on the hotel, I will be recommending to friends n family, a holiday to remember for sure xx
