Top of the line hotel here. The service and quality was outstanding. I highly recommend this beautiful hotel in Dubrovnik!!

This hotel was one of the best hotels I stayed. Staff: the best thing about our hotel was the service. The staff were warm, friendly, very helpful and super professional who met all our demands. Reception staff were outstanding. Bojidar is a gem of a person. Cleaning ladies were always greeting us with smiles. Breakfast staff were attentive and kind. Miroslav does great omelet. The restaurants staff were fantastic.

The room: The Bed was heaven! Smooth luxurious bedsheets, fluffy pillows… I was on cloud 9. The bathroom was modern and spacious, spotless! It was a pleasure having a shower there.

Views and location: Absolutely spectacular. Panoramic views even from my bed! Balcony was large enough for a party. Quite a few swimming pools in the resort and lots of cosy beautiful sitting areas to relax.

Food: breakfast was great but dinner could be improved and have more variety. However, restaurants were excellent and there were many options to choose from.

It was a lavish holiday I’d definitely want to experience again.

We spent a wonderful week at the Royal Ariston and would happily stay here again. Although the hotel forms part of the wider Royal Hotels & Resort complex, with access to facilities across the neighbouring hotels, the Ariston itself felt peaceful, elegant and perfectly positioned overlooking the sea, with magnificent views.

Our bed was comfortable, and there was an impressive amount of wardrobe and storage space. We appreciated the welcome bottle of water in the bedroom, as well as the minibar, which was useful for keeping drinks cool, and the kettle with tea and coffee. An iron and ironing board were provided in the wardrobe, while the bathroom had a hairdryer and a selection of toiletries. The bathroom also featured a bath with a shower over it and a glass screen.

If you’re wondering whether it’s worth paying extra for a sea-view room, the answer is definitely yes. The view is absolutely worth it. From our balcony, we were treated to spectacular sunsets over the sea.

One of the things that really stood out throughout our stay was the friendliness of the staff. From reception to the breakfast team, everyone was welcoming, professional and always smiling.

As guests of the Ariston, we also enjoyed access to the facilities across the Royal Hotels & Resort complex, including several outdoor pools, two indoor pools, two spa areas—one family-friendly and one adults-only—a gym and direct access to the crystal-clear Adriatic Sea. There is also a rooftop pool at the Royal Blue next door.

We didn’t manage to find all of the swimming pools, but our favourite was the one right by the sea. There were plenty of places around the resort to sit in the sun, and there was always a staff member available to help with sun loungers, tables and umbrellas, which were always readily available.

The coastal promenade begins right outside the hotel and is one of Dubrovnik’s hidden gems. A scenic 15–20 minute walk takes you to Lapad, where you’ll find plenty of excellent restaurants, cafés, bars and supermarkets. The promenade is equally lovely for an early morning walk, an evening stroll or a run.

A short walk opposite the hotel takes you to the terminus of the No. 6 bus, which takes you directly to Dubrovnik Old Town. The journey takes around 15 minutes, with the Old Town being the end of the route, making it very easy and convenient.

We stayed on a bed-and-breakfast basis, and the breakfast buffet was extensive, with something for everyone. There was also an egg station where fresh eggs were cooked to order. The restaurant overlooks the sea, offering magnificent views while you enjoy breakfast.

Overall, we had an enjoyable stay at the Royal Ariston. The beautiful location, stunning sea views, excellent facilities and, above all, the friendly and helpful staff made it a very enjoyable experience.
