- Jupiter Luxury Hotel
Surrounded by the quaint streets of the old town of Split, the stylish Jupiter Luxury Hotel boasts an enviable location within the walls of the UNESCO-protected 4th century Diocletian Palace. A large number of shops, restaurants, bars, museums and sights such as the Temple of Jupiter, the Papal Palace or the 12th century Cathedral of St. Domnius can be found in the vicinity, and the elegant Riva promenade is just a few steps away. The luxurious rooms are beautifully appointed, blending harmoniously a contemporary style with original historic elements. Excellent features include air-conditioning, free WIFI, iPod docking station and LCD TV. The hotel boasts a rooftop terrace with lounge bar and outdoor hot tub, overlooking the historic centre. Guests can rent the hotel's own motor yacht to explore the marvellous islands. This unique hotel is a wonderful choice for everybody wishing to explore this fascinating city and all it has to offer.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
This is a very solid basic hotel. The location in the pedestrian old city is lovely, and it’s great to be in that area after all the cruise ship people leave the city! And the people-watching from the outside breakfast seating area was terrific! We found all the staff super helpful — front desk, restaurant and cleaning. The room was quite small with the essential amenities of shampoo, conditioner, shower gel & hand wash. There was no mini fridge or robes, so not sure about that part of the hotel write up.
Lovely hotel
Centrally located - you are about a 10 second walk away from the cathedral, square and bell tower
They even came down to. the the promenade to meet me so I would not get lost finding the hotel.
Clean and tidy Great choice for breakfast Room was wonderfully decorated Shower a bit rubbish and over a bath which was very deep, so. you would have trouble getting in and out of bath or shower if you had short legs, or poor mobility
There was no safe in the room.
All in all. a lovely stay and great service
OMG NOISY! We were put on the first floor and we could hear the sounds from the restaurant through our door, we could hear people talking outside window even with earplugs in. The room is really really small. No kettle, coffee is supposedly available downstairs early in the morning. The location is outstanding, but without a good nights sleep nothing else matters.
Great location in the middle of the old town, but poor conditions inside the rooms (old mattresses, poor equipment maintenance (flush, curtains), noise, old jacuzzi which does not work on the rooftop). Very little rooms. Very good breakfast.
Well placed hotel but to get there you have to drag your suitcase quite some way over flagstones. The room although had a lift you still had seven steps to get to your room. Room overstuffed with furniture. No complimentary water and the water in the mini fridge was warm as the fridge was not working. The extractor fan in the bathroom rattled and made a horrendous noise when you put it on ( sounded like an aircraft) very, very loud. The noise from outside from the restaurants was very loud and continued quite late. Lastly they have that two single quilt system for a double bed which in my view does not work well.overall I would say avoid this hotel. RECEPTION STAFF WERE THE ONLY SAVING GRACE, HELPFUL AND VERY PLEASANT.
