The hotel is situated in the very centre of Split on one of its main streets. It is just steps away from ancient and cultural monuments, including the 1700 year-old historic core of the city, which is protected by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage site. The hotel's ideal location guarantees easy access to all important parts of the city. Within walking distance is the famous Diocletian Palace as well as the bus terminal, railway station and the ferry. The hotel is also just a short walk from the city's most popular sandy beach, Bacvice and its transparent clear sea. Split's wonderfully forested park, its "green soul", Marjan Hill is also just a short stroll through the Varos section of the city that begins at the end of the waterfront Riva. The stylish and lifestyle design and furnishings were carefully chosen by Ms. Parčina herself, a personal celebration of what's fresh, inventive, sleek, and flavoured with Split's ancient marine heritage. Dedicated to innovation, Hotel Luxe has started to change the entire look and feel of Split's hotel scene. Our young and motivated team of hospitality enthusiasts are dedicated to the highest level of personalized service for each guest. The goal is to do everything to make the guests’ stay a warm and memorable experience.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
As others have said, the location is great. Just arm's length from the crowds from the promenade and the palace. The rooms are clean and tidy, well appointment, and very quiet. What really shines at this property, though, is the staff. Housekeeping was the best I've experienced in recent memory, and I travel quite a bit and stay at higher-end hotels. The front desk, especially Yuri, were all super helpful and friendly. The breakfast attendant, Nataly, was always a great part of our morning -- we stayed for 8 days, so we saw the staff a lot. We really enjoyed our stay. Again, good room, great location, superb staff.
LOCATION! The Hotel Luxe is in walking distance of the best Split has to offer. The hotel itself is nice, if not particularly memorable. We had a packed bucket list and did not spend much time in the hotel except to sleep. Certainly no drawbacks to speak of. Would recommend.
Loved the location of this property! We went into the Palace walls area multiple times a day. The breakfast was great, quaint rooms and lovely local vibe when on the balcony. Very disappointing jacuzzi however, needs to come off of the website as an amenity, it was ice cold.
Hotel Luxe is a great location just steps from Old Town. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Natalie was lovely. The only thing we didn’t understand was why there were no English TV channels. 😊
We booked this hotel because it within walking distance of the old town, which is traffic free. Also we could take taxis to restaurants outside Split old town and it is overlooking the ferry port for trips to the beautiful nearby islands such as Brac & Hvar by either fast catamarans or slower cheaper ferries We stayed for 2 weeks from end of May to early June. Our room was a Comfort type with a sea view and a small balcony. It had king size bed, coffee facilities, a small safe for valuables in the wardrobe and plenty of storeage place ( we asked for extra hangers and pillows). The bathroom was modern with a combined bath and shower. All the staff were very helpful and friendly and hotel was very clean and our bedding and towels were all changed each day. In the basement there was a fully equiped fitness room, a jacuzzi and a sauna. The hotel was very clean and modern. The only criticism was the breakfast because the food was generally very cold, the coffee machine only warm, the toaster jammed, eggs were hard boiled, cold pancakes, they ran out of fruit jogurt & muesli and had minmal fresh fruit. They need a small microwave to heat food. I complained to Irma the General Manager and she arranged that Natelie, who was serving in the breahfast room and very nice & helpful, look after our requirements better, but these small issues could easily be resolved, since we heard many guests muttering about the breakfast problems. All in all, we would highly recommend this hotel inspite of the poor breakfast
