AMAZING STAY!!
WOW! This is how hospitality should be done!
We were deciding between this hotel and another property, and I am so glad we chose this one. I truly cannot say enough good things about our stay. From the moment we arrived until the day we left, the experience exceeded our expectations.
Things we loved:
Location – The location was excellent. It was only about a 5-10 minute walk to the promenade and beachfront, making it an easy and enjoyable walk each day. Service – The service was exceptional, and I genuinely cannot overstate that. Every single staff member we encountered was warm, friendly, and eager to help. Whether it was the team filling our water bottles with ice each morning before we headed out, the reception staff, or housekeeping, everyone was wonderful. They truly understand what hospitality means, and it showed in every interaction. This is five-star service in every sense.
Breakfast – Breakfast was outstanding. Each morning featured a full buffet with a wide variety of fresh, delicious options. The selection was impressive, and everything was beautifully presented. It was one of the best hotel breakfasts we've had.
Fitness Facilities – This was especially important to me since I am training for a marathon. I asked whether the gym could be opened a little earlier than the normal 7:00 AM opening time, and without hesitation they accommodated my request every day of our stay. I also asked if they could keep the air conditioning on so it would be comfortable for running, and again they were happy to do so. Honestly, this was one of the best hotel gyms we've experienced in Europe. The equipment selection was excellent, everything was clean, and—finally—a hotel that understands it's nice to work up a sweat while exercising, not simply from walking into an overheated gym!
Pool – The pool is on the smaller side, but during the heat wave it was wonderfully refreshing because it was kept cool. It was the perfect place to relax after a day of sightseeing. My only suggestion would be to add a few more lounge chairs, as all three were occupied on our first afternoon.
Room – We booked the smallest room option with two twin beds, but it felt surprisingly spacious. The bathroom was quite large, and the shower was excellent. We never felt cramped.
Overall, this was a truly wonderful stay, and I would recommend this hotel without hesitation. We would absolutely stay here again. If you're trying to decide between this property and another, I would choose this one again in a heartbeat!

Great experience with welcoming staff
We had a wonderful stay at Cornaro Hotel in June. The hotel is located in the heart of the city, within walking distance of all the major attractions, so a car is not needed for most activities.
From the moment we checked in, we received a warm welcome from the receptionist, Mateo. He provided us with all the information about the hotel's facilities, gave us a city map, and recommended the must-see attractions.
We especially enjoyed the relaxing massage at the hotel's wellness center, and the breakfast was the best we have ever experienced in any hotel.
We would definitely love to return to this hotel in the future.
You need to stay here if you are coming to Split
Amazing service and breakfast! Rooms were very comfortable with tons of well thought out amenities. Had a massage at the spa which didn’t suck! Roof top bar had phenomenal views. Can’t wait to return.
Lovely Hotel in a Perfect Location
The Cornaro has a perfect location in Split - walking distance to La Riva and all the major attractions in the old city. Our room was nicely decorated, spacious and very quiet. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast, and the wonderful a la carte dishes that are made to order.
Our only complaint is that the servers at the rooftop bar were very rude to the teenage girls on our trip. One actually said that they were not allowed to take photos there at sunset! And this was after we had spent the afternoon by the pool and paid for quite a few drinks. That was disappointing.

Great Location
We stayed for four nights. Hotel in a fantastic location.The rooms are a good size and air conditioned,which was a god send has it was very warm whilst we were there. The breakfast was great you could order from the menu and the staff were very attentive. The view from the rooftop was terrace was fantastic, they could actually do with a few more sunbeds. All in all our stay was fantastic.
