Anse Chastanet

The resort is beautiful, and the staff is exceptional. Everyone is attentive and does their best to make sure you have a fantastic experience. The rooms are lovely, and have beautiful views, though it was VERY hot. I would pay the upgrade to get a room with a/c if I return to the resort.

We had an incredible stay at anse chastanet. I did a lot of research about the resort prior to arriving but I will say the actual facility and services are better than what I could see on the internet. I booked the package through costco travel including the all inclusive food option.

I would highly recommend this package. The all inclusive iption was exceptional. Essentially everything regarding food/drink at the resort was covered except a few things which were clearly demarcated. The food options were excellent. We had room 4B which had a great view of the pitons and the beach. The room had excellent amenities and the staff provided everything such as extension cables, bug spray, extra fans, coffee daily, dryer, steamer, lock. The rooms are not air conditioned and visiting in september can be quite hot but the extra fans made it manageable. Additionally the bug spray was helpful.

Regarding the resort facilities, the two beaches at the resort are incredible, excellent snorkeling opportunities and complimentary non motorized water activities. We wetn kayaking, paddle boarding, and even sailed a small boat. The beach is down from the resort but there were frequent shuttles down when called and it was not an issue. The concierge was excellent in hleping sign up for excursions/activities. Specifically would recommend the thursday sunset jazz cruise. Also the service of everyone from the restaurants, bars, scuba center were excellent. Large drink menu with wide variety of drink options. PLenty of shaded beach chairs/beds for resort guests. Also the free access to the gym at jade mountain is nice.

Additionally location is stunning, the ride there from soufriere is alittle rough with over 2 miles of unpaved steep roads but again totally not an issue given that you hardly have to leave the resort. Within 30 mins from the facility are most of the main tourist attractions of St. Lucia.

Overall I would 100% return to Anse chastanet. I cannot recommend highly enough. Easily one of the best

Where do I begin....How about the friendy reception I recieved at the airport, given a cool refreshing towel and ice cold bottle of water then introduced to my private taxi driver 'Adrian' what a great guy he is, we chatted and laughed all the way to Anse Chastanet resort, so much so I hardly noticed the hour go by or the bumpy road.

Got the same friendly reception from Monika, who checked me in and then gave me two rooms to choose from, the first room looked great, sea view, air con, but the second room had a sea view and a view of the Pitons! I didn't mind about the lack of air con in the room (4A) as there were ceiling fans and two powerful stand alone fans.

The room has everything you need, even the big fridge has an ice box for ice cubes, the turn down service is quick and efficient, a mosquito coil is lit to keep them away.

I snorkelled every day, no matter where you go from (3 beaches and by the dive centre) you will see fish and they will come and look at you, fantastic! I saw a turtle when I wasn't in the water. I went on the bird watching tour, seen lots of birds and a tarantula wasp which I thought was a small hummingbird.

The staff here are the friendliest people I've ever met, they cannot do enough for you, and nothing was too much trouble. Being vegan I had no trouble at all being fed, they even have their own vegan restaurant Emeralds which was DELICIOUS! All the other food places had vegan options so I could eat anywhere I liked.

The steps from my room to the beach and back up got easier everyday, the trick is to not try and do it all in one go, do it in stages and definitely stop off in the bar on the way back up!!

This has been one the best holidays I've ever been on, 100% worth it, thank you to everyone involved, and Thank You to Tyson who took me to the airport to go home, it was such a laugh and a great chat.
