Service
The resort was gorgeous but the service was subpar compared to other sandals resorts. The pool bar was very slow, sometimes waiting 10-15 mins to get a refill. The bars ran out of different ingredients all throughout our visit. The entertainment schedule did not stay on schedule. It rained one day and it seemed like they had no idea what to do with us in the rain. Some of the waiters seemed agitated during dinner service time. We booked our trip two years in advance and our room view was construction while almost every other room had a view of the ocean.
AVIOD AT ALL COSTS
Horrible a waste of money. With so many hotels options on the island this resort should be completely avoided. Customer service is none existent. We sprung for a pool swim up room and experienced cockroaches in our room and cats catching mice on our patio. Unless you wake up at 5 am forget getting a seat at the pool, all chairs are claimed and left unattended for hours the resort does nothing about it. They are constantly and conveniently “out of” things, request a mojito they’ll be out of mint, a White Russian out of coffee liquors, etc. The problems will linger post your departure, be hesitant of the card you leave on file, resort double charges and you’ll have to fight for your money back give up entirely and just have to reach out to the credit company directly for any kind of resolution.
Don’t even think about it!
What a waste of serious money. Unless you enjoy bad music, which you can’t seem to get away from, and getting drunk in a pool while enjoying terrible food, this is definitely not the place. Accommodations are not much either. Service is terrible. Especially at the restaurants. If I thought it was safe to leave the resort I would eat elsewhere. The food is very poor. Small portions. Bad ingredients. The beef in the hamburger doesn’t look like beef. Even the fish is bad. While the location is beautiful, Believe me you can do much better for the money!
Escape to Paradise
If you are seeking a romantic getaway with beautiful scenic views, great weather, the most welcoming attentive staff, great food, entertainment and activity variety, this is the gem, 20/10. Book the trip!! Transfers to and from the resort were reliable and comfortable. Drivers were exceptionally professional. Check in and out process was seemless and timely. Our room had up to date furnishings and was cleaned restocked each day. We experienced no maintenance issues during our stay. The grounds were immaculately manicured. The lawns were green with lush, vibrant and colorful tropical gardens throughout. The beach had ample seating, was calm and relaxing. I witnessed the staff's sheer hard work and talents throughout the resort in both their interactions with us other guests, the quality service, and well maintained grounds and facilities. The spa services we recirved were a treasure. I would also, like to personally recognize a phenomenal Host, Sherma. She went above and beyond with helping us celebrate our wedding anniversary, adding her own personal touches. We will never forget her and the impact she made. She created memories we will carry in our hearts for a lifetime. Thank you for your hospitality to all the Sandals Grande Saint Lucian resort staff, and thank you for sharing a piece of Sandals and Saint Lucia with us.

If you're looking for a romantic couples getaway in Saint Lucia, this is the gem. Beautiful scenic views, warm, welcoming and friendly staff that strive to make sure your stay is everything. Special shoutout to team member host Sherma, you done a phenomenal job helping us to create a memorable wedding anniversary and we cannot thank you enough. We will always remember you! The rooms were clean and well stocked with many budget options to choose from. The grounds were immaculately manicured. Did I mention 12 on site restaurants to fancy your taste palate?
