My partner and I won a trip to St.Lucia which included a 3 night stay in Coco Palm hotel. On arrival it we were greeted by the hotel staff, although we was super early and our room wasnt ready. Once everything was ready, we we're welcomed and even given a welcome drink of rum punch and the facilities/shortcuts to the strip etc was explained to us. Once we were settled into our room, we stayed in room 319. we headed down to the bar and were met with 3 of the most amazing staff Miracle, Denesia and Malika, they were extremely welcoming and made us feel like long lost friends, honestly we had the best time here and it was all because of them! We had all inclusive so made sure to make the most of it and pretty sure we tasted every drink (even the bartender specials). They are all definitely a true asset to the Ti Bannane team as they had everyone smiling, laughing and enjoying themselves. We will most certainly be back to enjoy their company again especially Malika!
We were given a garden view room, spacious and had most of what we needed however, given my partner is 6'5 shower space was limited, there was a shower to the back right corner which I believe was more for assistance and there was an in shower seat and the overhead was a little awkward and also dripped on your head when the smaller hose was on. The bed was comfortable but a little squeaky at the slightest turn but overall okay. We attempted to use the iron but was a little darkened so stain one of our tops but we had also brought our own travel iron so we managed.
Prior to our checkout we received a slip to settle any bills etc and a thank you note however, it was slipped through the door quite late so we didn't see this until front desk was almost closed at 11pm so would recommend if these are given a littlw earlier in the day for preparation purposes. With regards to check out, all was fine and we were allowed to stay on premises and keep our luggage in the hold until we were ready which is amazing especially as our flight wasn't until 20.30 and transfer wasnt arriving until 15.30. There was a couple of things we observed during our wait time which we personally didn't receive such as a cool face towel and other guest luggage being taken to the room, we were kind of left to our own devices and had to find the room ourselves as well as bring our luggage up but i wouldn't say it dampened the stay. Overall Coco Palm was one of best hotels we've stayed at during this trip (out of the two) but most certainly wouldnt be the same without the bar staff.
Thank you so much Coco Palm, until next time.
I was staying in the Creole Village, which was not what I had in mind.
But a staff member named Marcellina went above and beyond to make my stay a bit more comfortable with her professionalism and focus.
Great experience overall. Clean facility and hospitable staff. Especially Telcar and Marcellina. Would recommend and would return.
This place is amazing! The staff are so friendly and very accommodating especially with dietary requirements. There are two lovely ladies in the restaurant but i'm not sure of their names, thanks to one of them bringing gluten and dairy free biscuits spoiling me which were unexpected! The only issues are wifi does not work from one place to another and you need to switch to another connection, it's weak sometimes. And the air conditioning doesn't seem to cool the room when I lowered the temperature. But overall the stay was lovely and pleasurable, would recommend this place to others! Thank you to all staff!
Four of us enjoyed a wonderful stay at Coco Palm in June/July (9 days). Great location and first time in St Lucia. Very clean and well-kept hotel, which is small enough to retain a homely feel but large enough to have all the amenities and be a fun place to stay. Lovely rooms, including poolside and garden. The maintenance guys kept the pool, garden and facilities in top condition and the house-keeping was excellent (special thanks to Anna and Rufina!). Without exception, all the staff were so helpful and friendly - the hotel is clearly an excellent employer and recruits extremely well. We always try to do a lot of trips by ourselves and the staff were keen to help us with local tips and bus routes, as well as all our questions on food, places to visit and insider knowledge! The rates were phenomenal - we got a great deal on our accomodation, which included daily free lunches and all day house drinks. The food was absolutely top class, well-balanced and portions were generous. The bar was excellent, with brilliant bar staff who maintained a great atmosphere and playlist. We haven't felt this well looked after and relaxed on holiday for some time, and we have done a lot of travelling between us. Competition is stiff in St Lucia but we wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel over the bigger names, especially if you are an independent or more adventurous visitor. Rather than feeling trapped on an isolated resort, this hotel is really well located in the middle of Rodney Bay, which is a useful town and a short stroll to an excellent public beach. You really do feel a part of the island if you stay here and you can dip into local life if you like to get a bit more out of a trip.
