Located in the legendary island of Saint Lucia, a sovereign island country in the eastern Caribbean Sea, this luxurious resort inspired by nature offer a high-standard accommodation just 24 kilometres from St. Lucia Hewanorra airport and 10 minutes' drive from the Grand Bois forest. Surrounded by tropical gardens, guests can unwind and relax in the swimming pool or enjoy a breathtaking sunset from their private balcony. They may also be tempted by a choice of delicious culinary options at the on-site restaurant, offering a range of Creole and European dishes.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Just got back from Ti Kaye, and I would highly recommend (I never write reviews). The food is AMAZING, the staff is so friendly, and the resort is on the smaller side, so it makes it feel like you are the only guests at times. Make sure to bring some bug spray and an outlet converter if you are American.
I’ve given this 5 stars - but only because I can’t give it 6 ! It’s remote and a bit tricky to get to but the place itself is a close to paradise as you’ll find. Wonderful accommodation - beautiful setting - exceptional service - amazing food and very very quiet - just sensational.
It’s well run with an app that made it very easy to order food. Nothing was too much trouble. The neighbouring beach is quiet (occasional tourist boat but nothing disastrous). The snorkelling is astonishing.
Overall it’s hard to find anything wrong with this - one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed.
My husband and I stayed at Ti Kaye for 7 nights (6/13-6/20) and had the most incredible trip. We were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary and stayed in one of the ocean view cottages, all inclusive and had the Lanmou romantic package. Our cottages name was AWA and was located relatively close to the main budling.
The package included round trip transport from the airport, couples massage, private dinner on their soleil deck and a wine tasting as well some goodies in the room on arrival. Our driver Phillip was awesome, he gave us a lot of info on the drive to the resort (about 1.5 hours) and made the drive as smooth as possible. We read in previous reviews the drive is curvy and bumpy so we were prepared for that. Check in was a breeze and we were given arrival cocktails which was lovely. There is a phone app that the resort utilizes to order food/drinks and make reservations/bookings and I loved it. It made everything so easy. There was a book in the room that provided details and instructions for just about anything that was super helpful. We learned the property has its own garden where a lot of the food comes from and uses recycled water. We did drink from the tap and the water was completely fine and tasted great.
The resort itself is stunning. Everything was open to air and mostly outdoors but covered and we loved that. It is on a cliff, so lots of steps, but it did not bother us. Our cottage was incredibly spacious, they had decorated the room with fresh flowers, a bottle of bubbly, platter of fresh fruit and we received a tote bag with massage oil, and lovely soap and body scrub. We were huge fans of the outdoor showers. Room stayed very cool with the AC. There was mosquito netting around the bed that we did utilize because mosquitos love me. The porch was our favorite though, there was a huge hammock and 2 rocking chairs that we hung out on daily. Our housekeepers were excellent and cleaned daily.
Previous reviews reflected this but the mosquitos are a lot there. They love me and I tried several repellants while there but still came home with quite a few bites so just be prepared for that. They were especially bad after rain. It did rain off and on throughout the week but most were very quick light showers and did not disrupt our beach/pool time much. We did utilize the fitness center for most of the week. It had plenty of free weights, a barbell, a multi-use weight machine, yoga mats, various cardio machines and medicine balls that we loved. It was a hike up to the fitness center so it was a great warm up, haha.
We went down to the beach every day, there are a lot of steps down but we were fine using them going down and really utilized the funicular going up which was easy to use. Beach was stunning, had loungers and canopies for our use and it never felt too crowded. There were catamarans that came and went all day but were never really a bother to us. The pool was lovely as well and honestly, nowhere on the resort ever felt crowded. It was very quiet and peaceful. We wanted to do the bare minimum for this trip and mainly relax and we were able to do that!
My husband did utilize the snorkeling gear 1 day and saw a ton of different fish and coral in the little cove that the beach is located on. They did offer many excursions but we were not interested in any of them. Again, there to relax, but they offer some fun excursions. The beach was clean and beautiful. Some rocks but we were bale to walk over or maneuver around them. The water was crystal clear.
The views from everywhere in the resort were amazing. We did do a couples massage and had an amazing experience with that. We did not end up doing the wine tasting but we heard it was fun and they do offer rum tastings as well since there are local rum distilleries on the island. We did our private dinner on the deck on our anniversary and it was 10/10 between food, drinks and service. I did book that and our massages ahead of time prior to arrival based on previous reviews, and that process was seamless. I just emailed the resort and they were happy to help set those up.
The drinks were AWESOME. No watered down in the least, if anything a little strong for me ;) The bar in the main restaurant was awesome. They had games, a TV and beautiful views. We had a pre dinner cocktail almost every night there. All of the bartenders were great but Vincia made the best drinks ever. We loved her. We tried almost all of their cocktails and everything was excellent including the wine selection. Since the restaurant is technically outdoors, bugs/birds did happen at times but were not super disruptive. We ate breakfast and dinner at the main restaurant every day and loved everything we ate, food was incredible. They have a seafood and grill night down at the beach restaurant and utilized the seafood night and it was also amazing. We ate lunch at the beach restaurant ever day and again, incredible food all around. We did order room service twice and again, great and quick service and amazing food.
I would like to especially shout out Tammy, Kim, Merissa and Binda. We had more than above service with them at various meals. All of our service was great but they were exceptional.
We had the most amazing stay and would 100% stay there again. We picked this resort because we prefer smaller more intimate resorts and this was just that. We were so happy with everything and cant recommend this resort enough.
My husband and I stayed at Ti Kaye (6/23-6/30) and learned very quickly we picked the best resort. Our bungalow was the coolest spot we’ve ever stayed. The staff/locals were extremely friendly, helpful, and welcoming. They scheduled all of our drives for excursions which was so wonderful and convenient. The drivers were all such a pleasure to meet. We loved everything from the beautiful ocean view to the wine tasting in the cellar. We met two vendors on Ti Kaye’s beach pictured below. Charlie opened fresh coconuts and almond shells for us to try and not only were they absolutely delicious but such an awesome, authentic Saint Lucian experience. Brendan carves incredible love birds and turtles out of coconuts and my husband and I could not ask for a more sentimental reminder of our honeymoon. Not to mention, they are both so fun to talk to and fascinating to learn about the island from. If you are looking for a genuine Saint Lucian getaway, it would be a mistake not to book at Ti Kaye.
My wife and I stayed at the resort at the end of June 2026. We live in Connecticut USA, so St Lucia is a very accessible destination although this was our first time visiting the island. We travel a fair amount to other destinations outside of the US (most recently Mexico and the Maldives) so we know what we like as an experience. Ti Kaye did not disappoint! We were only there for 5 full days so with it being the beginning of the rainy season and a limited stay we decided to skip the excursions this time and enjoy the resort. Speaking with other guests who did leave the resort they had a great time. We did book the wine tasting one evening with Ro, the resort's sommelier. I thoroughly recommend the experience, he is very knowledgeable and we had a great time meeting some new people, tasting and pairing some lovely wines, and relaxing in a beautiful (if not surprising) wine cellar. Other than that, we spent time enjoying the stunning views, the amazing snorkeling, extremely friendly and accommodating staff, and excellent food and drink. Some things to note: The drive to and from the airport: yes, it is 1.5 hours, but our driver was very friendly and knowledgeable about the island, so the time passed with ease. However, if, like my wife, you are prone to car sickness you want to have those sea-bands handy or whatever you use to offset it. The resort: with only 20 cabins (I think they may be expanding) it is a very intimate setting, and you never feel crowded. St Lucia in general is considered one of the top destinations for honeymooners and Ti Kaye certainly caters for couples (I would say at least ¾ of the 80% occupancy were on their honeymoon). However, we would have no problem bringing friends, the staff are equally welcoming. Our cabin (Mele) was at the end of a short walk from the main entrance which was a lovey way to start and end the day with the spectacular drink-it-in views. The room was clean, comfortable and in great shape. The daily cleaning service was excellent. The gift shop is very cute with some nice mementos and some staples for your stay if you need them. For those sunworshippers, their selection of sunscreen is very limited and only the reef friendly mineral stuff, which I certainly appreciate. However, you should bring your own Australian Gold if that’s your preference, just apply after you snorkel! The beach: it is not a private beach, but the resort has an exclusive section with cabanas and loungers that were always available, as well as a stationed security officer. This makes the most sense when the party boats arrive (usually between 2-3pm for about an hour) stacked with people enjoying the beach and snorkeling, more amusing than annoying. There are vendors on the beach who sell some stuff, but they are not pushy and are mostly interested in the visitors. After a long day of snorkeling and enjoying food and drinks from the beach bar, we were ready to head up anyway. And by up, I mean a LOT of stairs to get to and from the beach. Not to worry, they have a funicular tram to take you up and down if you need it! The resort as a whole does involve some walking which we personally appreciate, but it would be very difficult to navigate if you have a mobility issue. The snorkeling: outstanding! We have snorkeled in many parts of the world, and this was one of the best experiences straight off the beach. Healthy coral and a wide variety of fish and marine life. Sandals resorts (and others) bring in a few boats a day to snorkel and dive but it never felt intrusive. The north and south of the bay are a little different so it never got old. The south side is where the resort has its cabanas and the beach bar, so it is usually quieter. The food and service: it is hard to find fault, so I won't! Attentive and professional staff always willing to go the extra mile! The food was fresh and delicious, and the prices reasonable (we didn't get the all-inclusive package). One note, the portions are surprisingly hearty, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but we often split a meal and were perfectly satiated! If there was any downside, which is no fault of the resort at all, it is that the mosquitos can be a bit vicious (who knew in a rainforest???). Make sure to bring bug spray to keep them at bay. Overall outstanding! We will definitely be planning a return visit and maybe add in some excursions!
