Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
I had an incredible experience here. The butlers, Jesse, Charles, and Garvin, were exceptional. The resort itself was fantastic. The sushi was delicious, and the French restaurant was a great place for a romantic dinner. I’m not looking forward to leaving!
Kimono's Restaurant is a MUST. Mike Myers is the best chef at Sandals. Very entertaining. Very Nice!!! And Anika makes great sauces and cocktails. Definitely a 5-star dining experience!
My husband and I had a wonderful time at Sandals La Toc. We were so impressed that everyone we interacted with from the gardeners to the front of house staff took the time to chat to us and make us feel welcome, The food was delicious and the entertainment well executed. Even though the resort was running at near full occupancy we never felt rushed in any restaurant and the beach and pool areas were never overcrowded and really well managed. We want to heap praise on the butler team of Paul, Delina, Sam and a really special thank you to Gem who went out of her way to make sure that we had everything we needed, even anticipating things that we hadn’t even asked for! She is a great asset to the company and clearly takes great pride in delivering an excellent service to the couples that she has been assigned to. If we had anything to ask Sandals to look at it would be the room, which we both felt could do with a brush up. Altogether we had a lovely holiday and look forward to coming back.We would definitely recommend Sandals as they absolutely exceeded our expectations.
My stay at sandals Regency LA toc was amazing. From the drinks at the bar to the food at the restaurants and the exceptional service at club sandals. My shout goes out to two bartenders Janel and Amanda, these ladies are amazing, fun to talk to and does incredible specialty drinks. I would definitely come back because of them. Also the young lady by the name of Natasha of Neptune's very nice individual. She took really good care of us. Our appetizers and main course came out on time and perfect. Cleus of club sandals amazing employee, he is very attentive and professional when it comes to dealing with guest. We love him and his personality. He should get a raise LOL. To the general manager your staff are great and I will definitely return to this resort.
Will return to the resort 🥰
We stayed at the Sandals Regency La Toc for one week at the end of June/beginning of July. We had a fantastic time and found the resort to be very luxurious and relaxing.
We stayed in the Sunset Bluff room with concierge service. We found the concierge service to be just right for us -we liked the room service and the ability to ask for whatever we want without having someone constantly helping us. The Sunset Bluff is on the quieter area of the resort, up a hill. We knew this when we booked, and we loved it. The walk up and down the hill may be hard for older folks or those with mobility issues, but we liked the exercise! Be prepared to walk the beautiful, hilly landscape. The hotel is gorgeous and is really built into the hills and mountains.
The grounds keeping crew is phenomenal! The resort is stunning, so many varieties of beautiful flowers, trees, bushes, shrubs. It's like being nestled right in a rainforest and it is very well kept.
The room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The room had both US/Canadian and the St Lucian electric outlets. The mini bar was well stocked and the concierge was amazing at make sure our favourites were there in the quantities that we requested. Room tip: have them bring you a case of water - it's very handy. The bathroom was nice, though the tub is quite dated. The bathroom amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion) were very lovely. Air conditioning worked perfectly and was very quiet.
We found that the room cleaner was a bit inconsistent with the towels they left us. Some days we would get all towels, some days we got 4 towels and no foot towel, other days no face towels and 3 towels. It was odd, but we did always have what we needed. We are not the type of people where a little inconsistency ruins our stay so this isn't a complaint, just something we noticed and then carried on with our amazing stay.
The staff really go out of their way to make sure your stay is amazing. We were always greeted with a smile and folks checking in on us here and there. The drinks were very well made.
The resort staff were all amazing. Shout out to: -Saisha in the concierge -Nikola, Natasha, and Jayden at Armando's -Nigel at Cricketers -Keninon at the bluff pool bar (made us a makeshift Caesar drink and a little Canada drink slushies for us on Canada Day!) -Koder and Emily at Kimonos
There are plenty of bars and lounge areas, as well as a lot of intimate smaller areas all around. Even though the resort was busy, it never felt busy or crowded. We did notice that the towel/lounger game was in full effect, but with that said we always got a lounger and most times with an umbrella. Another tip: Everyone complains about the towel game but if you don't like it, stop playing the game! We refused to lay down towels on loungers we weren't actively using. Change starts with you! Don't do it. If everyone stops it, then there will be loungers for all (with the exception of butlers who are allowed to reserve - maybe they should have a different towel colour?) We also noticed that the majority of folks would leave their lounger and be done for the day (i.e. took all their belongings, left half empty drinks) but would leave their towels and literally never come back. Please take your towels with you if you aren't returning.
There are tons of fun things to do each day around the pool and beach. We loved the sip and paint as well as the carving class. There was also tye die, jewelery making, cooking classes, pools games. A lot of fun for sure!
The restaurants were excellent. We found that the food and service quality was top notch everywhere. We dined at every restaurant during the week and found that our favourite was La Toc. It requires long pants and closed toe shoes for the gents, but it was well worth it. Buccan was a close second, but as this is a couples resort, we really would have preferred a more intimate table rather than the family style that is offered - but it was really delicious and cultural! Tip: do Buccan early in your trip, it's a great way to meet people. Do not skip Soy. Try to get a sushi bar seat - it over looks the sea and enhances the whole experience. The sushi was well crafted.
We were first timers to Sandals, so we were a bit surprised by the nightly entertainment. There were no real shows, besides the fire show. We didn't mind, but perhaps we were expecting something more extravagant. However, the rest of the evenings offered music like live singers, steel drums, pianist, etc. The pub offered DJs and Karakoee a few times during the week and it was a blast. The wings were also very good here.
For our fellow Canadians: the resort was about 99% full with Americans during our stay. They were all friendly, but it changed the vibe from other resort stays we have had where there were a mix of Canadians, Americans, and Europeans. Again not bad, just a very different and, at times, loud, vibe. The crowd was also a lot younger than we were expecting, again, not bad, we had a few great party nights at the pub. Also for Canadians, there is no Clamato, but we were able to make a makeshift one with tomato juice and olive juice!
We really did love our trip and we would definitely recommend and come back!
