Couples Anniversary trip!
Our stay was phenomenal! THE atmosphere was party, party! We had the location, swim out room across from the poolside bar (8024) BEST room on the resort. Big up to the pool bar staff Chana, Nickoy, Donavan, Karen, Asani, Ryan. Big up to Dj Keano. Server O'Brian. Housekeeping Andreka! You all made our stay excellent!
Disappointed
Our anniversary stay at Royalton Jamaica was unfortunately very disappointing. We were excited about this trip and expected a much better experience, especially for a special occasion.
From the beginning, we experienced several issues, including problems with our room, power and water interruptions, cleanliness, the shower, television, phone, mini-fridge, towels, and other basic room amenities. These issues made it difficult to enjoy what was supposed to be a relaxing anniversary vacation.
Our beach dinner was another major disappointment. The food was served cold, several items were missing, and we did not receive dessert. This was supposed to be a special experience, but it ended up being frustrating and disappointing.
I also experienced an allergic reaction during our stay, and I was disappointed that this concern was not adequately addressed afterward. We also had an issue involving a missing/stolen ring that I reported, and I have been disappointed with the lack of meaningful follow-up regarding that situation.
After returning home, I contacted customer support and explained everything in detail. Unfortunately, the response I received did not address several of my biggest concerns. I have since followed up again and am still waiting for a proper response.
I also want to clarify that there was an issue involving a guest/child at the resort. I did not assume the guest’s age, as was suggested in the response I received. I know what I observed and have photographs documenting the situation.
I am sharing this review because I believe guests should know that while every vacation can have unexpected issues, what matters is how a resort responds when those issues are brought to its attention.
We were really looking forward to celebrating our anniversary at Royalton Jamaica, but unfortunately, the experience did not meet our expectations. I hope management takes the concerns seriously and uses this feedback to improve the experience for future guests.
Incredible
My husband and I just returned from the most lovely vacation we have ever experienced. We have been to many places in the past so to give a 5 star review is not a normal thing for me to do. We arrived to celebrate our anniversary and spread the ashes of my father-in-law who loved Jamaica. Melissa (our butler), Donovan (our bartender), and Talliah (our server) were so incredible!! I was instantaneously drawn to their hard work and dedication! The resort itself was beautiful with so many things to do ranging from an arcade to casino. It had continues activities both for families and adults and plenty of food to "feed and army." This experience was definitely in my top 3 places I have traveled in the past and as far as the staff I mentioned above, they are priceless to the experience here!!! Jamaican trip
We had a lovely time at the Royalton Hideaway Negril. The rooms are beautiful the people are very friendly, the food was good for an all inclusive and thanks to Simone at Ocean Point who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, Adrian and Selina at Sands Beach bar and Keith at the hideaway swim up away happy to get our favourite drinks, and Adrian with room service with our coffee in the morning.
Beautiful Jamaica
We had such a wonderful stay at this resort in September and truly enjoyed every moment of it. Our room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with a beautiful swim-up pool overlooking the sea. Waking up to that view was absolutely amazing!
There were plenty of restaurants and food options to choose from, so we never ran out of something new to try. The resort grounds were beautiful and impeccably maintained, making the entire property feel welcoming and relaxing.
A special thank you to our two butlers, Michelle and Nicolas, who took such great care of us and made our stay that much more enjoyable. Their attention to detail and willingness to help really made a difference.
We also want to give a special shout-out to Donovan and Chana at the Hideaway Bar, Simone at Dorado for breakfast, and Teresha at the Main/Sands Bar. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and helped make our vacation memorable.
Overall, we had an amazing experience and would happily return. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so enjoyable! 🌴☀️🌊
