Not a 5 star resort
My husband and I have travelled to many 5 star resorts and I can tell you without a doubt, this resort is not even close to a 5 star.
Starting with the room, no slippers, no robe, bathroom looking a bit tired and dingy, however the room itself was spacious and clean.
Buffet did not have a large variety, not the greatest selection. Restaurants were good, but you need to get there early otherwise there are long wait times.
We had read reviews about the beach being rocky but I didn’t expect it to be so bad. We are beach people and this was a huge disappointment. There are two small sections where you can enter without gouging your feet, also it is a cove and no long stretch of beach to walk along. No other resorts next door besides the sister building which is for families.
The pool is amazing, never an issue finding chairs on the beach or pool. The beach bar seemed to always be out of something, or blender not working. Small mosaic tiles falling off and floating in pool.
Unless you upgrade to prestige club you are getting a 4 star resort at most. The staff for the most part are lovely, we ran into a few that were miserable and not helpful at all, it seemed the week end staff were not as friendly.
The grounds are looking very tired and worn.
Entertainment was good.
Overall, we wouldn’t return to this resort as we have experienced other 5 star resorts in Jamaica and this is not at par.

Billy is the BEST!
We had an absolutely incredible trip, and I cannot say enough good things about our experience! The resort was beautiful, the food was great, the activities were so much fun, and we made memories with our group that we will be talking about for years.
But what truly took our trip to another level was Billy. He deserves ALL the credit! From the beginning, Billy went above and beyond to make sure our entire group was taken care of, having fun, and getting the most out of every day. He has the kind of personality that makes everyone feel welcome, and his energy is contagious. Whether we were doing activities, hanging by the pool, starting our morning with his yoga session, dancing, or just enjoying the resort, Billy always seemed to be there making everything more fun.
When you travel with a big group, the people you meet along the way can completely make or break the experience, and Billy MADE this trip for us. He wasn’t just doing his job, he genuinely connected with our group and became part of some of our favorite memories from the vacation. By the end of the trip, it honestly felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend.
The resort itself was wonderful, but Billy is the reason this trip will stand out from so many others we’ve taken. Employees like him are what make guests want to come back. If management sees this, please recognize him for the incredible job he does. He is an absolute asset to your resort and deserves to know how much of an impact he made on our vacation.

The stay was good, the housekeeping staff was great, odette from the towel hut was good , Toni-Ann our booking concierge was really amazing.
