My husband spent a week here on the Hideaway side for our 15 year wedding anniversary and we loved it! We were on the last flight out before Sangster airport closed as Hurricane Melissa approached, we got out just in time but feel terrible about how the storm devastated the country. We learned a lot about Jamaican culture while we were there, spoke with many hotel employees and locals and genuinely appreciate the people we met. The resort is just beautiful, very clean and the staff was amazing. The staff at the bars, restaurants, buffet, gardners, security guards, cleaning crew, reception employees, everyone was friendly and kind, greeting us with smiles and very quick on the service. The food was delicious at the buffet and the à la carte restaurants (we went to Zen, Armadillo, Calypso and Taj twice). The drinks were incredible, at all the bars. The beach was breathtaking and soooo warm! We became friends with some of the beach vendors, very nice people. We even had some fun at the waterslides and lazy river! We enjoyed some of the poolside and nightly entertainment, there were some really good shows! The Vibe team is awesome! We used both gyms on family side and Hideaway side, super clean and had everything we needed to maintain our active routines on vaca. The room was perfect (607) we had a really great view of the pools and ocean! Very clean and minibar restocked daily. We definitely recommend and would go back in a heartbeat, maybe with our kids on the family side next time! It was a truly wonderful vacation and we are so sad it was severely damaged by the storm. We hope Jamaica gets all the help they need to rebuild and be stronger than ever.
Dan the Man, our butler was on top of everything. We didn’t even have to ask for things. He would be at restaurants when we arrived to ensure our reservations were right. We got daily texts of av as liable things scheduled and prearranged for us. Dan the Man was the best we had ever had.
We had a wonderful stay at Royalton Hideaway Blue Waters, and while our trip started with a bit of a snafu, it quickly turned into an unforgettable vacation thanks to the incredible staff.
A huge thank you to Omari Coates, the manager, who truly saved the day and honestly our entire vacation. Omari went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and that everything was made right. Because of him, we ended up in a beautiful room close to the beach with a stunning pool view, and we felt genuinely cared for every step of the way.
Our butlers, Jermaine and La Toya, were equally phenomenal. Jermaine absolutely knocked it out of the park. From decorating our room to setting up the jacuzzi one night, he added such thoughtful, special touches that made our stay feel luxurious and personal. La Toya was attentive, kind, and always made sure we had everything we needed.
The resort itself is gorgeous, relaxing, and well maintained, and the service truly makes the experience. Do not miss the jerk hut. It is a must.
Thank you to Omari, Jermaine, and La Toya for turning things around and making this a trip we will never forget. We cannot wait to return.
The Royalton Hideaway was a last minute trip and chosen because of the low price. I was given a room that partially overlooked the ocean and partially overlooked the power plant. I was here for relaxing so the room location was not an issue. This resort, for the price, was an amazing surprise. The food was top notch, the fish restaurant was flawless and gave true 5 star service and quality. The buffet was always well stocked with local and international favorites. But, the real star of this resort, aside from the super low price was the entertainment! They remembered your name from day one and kept the energy and activities flowing from morning until 2 am at the club. The evening shows were not your usual resort style boring shows, they were events featuring what everyone comes to Jamaica to see, authentic Jamaican dance and music. Their team was amazing! I enjoyed the fire eater and gymnasts in the lobby outside the club. The nightclub/sportsbar was jumping every night of the week, again, the entertainment staff was there to keep the energy going. The spa was beautiful and conservatively priced. Management could use a bit more training on professionalism as I heard the manager mercilessly berate her spa staff in the hydrotherapy area. Room Service was flawless, on time and delicious. The cleaning staff was amazing and never left you wanting for anything. Overall, I will return to this resort and refer all client's to this property. I’m looking forward to visiting the Royalton Negril soon❤️
Not great. Bit dissapointed with this holiday
