Today, the inspired capacities of our highly skilled and dedicated staff have been able to preserve the history and legacy of this iconic resort while staying at the forefront of the current industry.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
This legendary resort is one of a kind. First and foremost, the staff are what make the experience, but the location and design also make it feel like home away from home. It has classic Caribbean charm, and it feels timeless and elegant. The villas are stunning, the view is gorgeous, the food is fantastic, the hospitality is wonderful. Do yourself a favor and go.
This is always the worst hospitality experience, but have to visit area for business. The service was painfully slow, the food was terrible, and guest satisfaction seemed to be an afterthought.
Throughout my stay, staff were often nowhere to be found during their scheduled shifts. Around midday and on weekends, it felt as though the property simply shut down. There were multiple occasions where employees appeared to be socializing or occupied with personal matters instead of assisting guests, leading to unnecessary delays and frustration.
Housekeeping was equally disappointing. Basic cleaning was neglected, especially underneath furniture, where I found several spiders. It raises serious concerns about the property's cleanliness and attention to detail.
The overall atmosphere felt disorganized, unprofessional, and lacking in accountability. From my perspective, there seemed to be little oversight, with staff and some owners appearing more focused on their own interests than on providing the level of service guests are paying for. The experience left me questioning how the property is being managed and whether guest welfare is truly a priority.
I cannot recommend staying here. There are far better places to spend your money where professionalism, cleanliness, and customer service are actually valued. Truly feel something nefarious going on at this property, red flags everywhere
The staff and setting are very nice, but two major issues will keep me away in the future.
NOISE: Both times i stayed here, blaring music (loud enough to literally rattle the windows in my room) went on until 2:00 in the morning. The front desk said there is nothing they can do about it because it's coming from a different property that has a permit to play music that way until 2:00. Good luck trying to sleep. And if you're in an oceanfront room near the pool, the sound of children shouting will wake you up early. Not a relaxing getaway.
THE FOOD is famously bad, but it's gotten even worse. The "curried Caribbean vegetables" for more than $40 on the room service menu was a small plate of canned chick peas. The "banana pancakes" at breakfast were from an artificially flavored mix - not a banana in sight lol. The snapper was inedible, and a Coke Zero with the meal was served warm. Just not ok at these prices. A decent meal is miles away.
This will be, sadly, my last visit to Round Hill.
Amazing resort. Pricey but worth it. Relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, wonderful gym and spa. Food excellent. Evening entertainment was also varied and enjoyable. We loved Fi-real band and also the Jamaican evening with limbo and fire eating - not to be missed! Complimentary glass bottom boat trip also great with Ron and Sean. Thank you to all the staff, especially Roshane on reception, Mark in the restaurant, Nadine in housekeeping and Wade in concierge. Mark, keep the pork burgers! Thank you to all the wonderful staff.
Round Hill is my favorite hotel in all of Jamaica what an amazing experience!!!! The Staff is amazing the rooms are perfection, I didn't want to leave!
