Amazing resort. My wife and I got a Princess Overwater Villa for our honeymoon and it was well worth the money. Overall service, especially from our slew of personal 24/7 butlers, was superb. Room was a dream, the resort had everything you could want. We will be booking again as soon as we can
This Resort was a 10/10 in every area, drinks, entertainment, food ,service , hotel cleanliness, etc. Romaine , Tiffany , Sassy and Lady Sapphire were Top notch and the best ever by far !!
I didn't enjoy my first visit to island years ago BUT that was not this trip by far. From the second i got off the bus the cool towel & welcome drink πΉ hit the spot after long flight. I can't thank everyone at resort enough for the fabulous service. I never met anyone that was not smiling! attached are few photos of people that i really wanted to spot light. Unfortunately i did miss a few but will be returning for another round soon. Tiffany you will forever remember Germaine he called your name enough for the games. Truly enjoyed all activities offered. Top tier experience & high recommend worth every penny!!!!!
Wedding 7/25/26
Ok guys! I can leave my own review now that I have done my wedding at Princess here in Jamaica!! 10/10 highly recommend. Yes the reviews did scare me initially then it was the weather but I have to say it was flawless, seamless and nothing less than perfect. Thanks to Yanique and Brittany who coordinated and reassured me that everything will go as planned and it did!
I did it at the Illusion Terrace at 12 noon. Weather was perfect. Nice wind. No rain and not too hot. The reception was at Topaz around 630p. Perfect. With a DJ and relocating ceremony decor to the reception.
Music was played by a DJ friend who came to our wedding.
Decor was through the hotel vendor

I was originally booked at sandals Barbados for my wedding and changed the location. I wanted a better vibe after visiting the property.
Also, I booked at the very last minute. Like 45 days or less prior. Donβt stress yourself. All will work Out. Pray for good weather! It worked!!
Garth the Operations manager was very helpful with any and all room issues for me and my guest! π― very nice and kind. He will go above and beyond to make sure things are right!!

Our wedding at Princess Senses The Mangrove was, unfortunately, one of the most disappointing resort experiences weβve ever had. While the property itself is beautiful, the service and operations were completely unacceptable.
Many of our guestsβ rooms smelled strongly of mold, elevators were constantly out of service, and some guests who paid for butler service barely saw their butlers at all. Restaurants regularly took 2+ hours for dinner, and staff often seemed more interested in standing around gossiping than helping guests.
The shuttle system was a disaster. Shuttles frequently never arrived, leaving guests stranded or forced to walk long distances. Excursion representatives also used high-pressure sales tactics that felt misleading and dishonest.
As a destination wedding bride, the lack of organization made an already stressful day even worse. Between transportation issues, poor communication, and consistently slow service, this resort failed to deliver the experience we and our guests paid for.
The resort has potential, but until management addresses these ongoing operational problems, I cannot recommend it, especially for destination weddings.
