Should be a 2 star hotel
After paying for an all-inclusive package, the whole dining experience was a huge disappointment
The resort had closed 2 out of 3 restaurants but was assured that we would have the same experience from all 3 from 1 restaurant. There was zero variety - we were stuck with a highly repetitive buffet or the Chopstix menu when buffet wasn’t being served. All restricted to strict and inflexible set times
To make matters worse, the restaurant staff were rude and hostile. When we politely asked if there were any alternative food options available, we were bluntly told “that’s all there is” with a terrible attitude. It wasn’t until we formally complained to reception (Melissa) that we found out we “build your own” burger
The restaurant manager also reassured the receptionist that they would provide assorted sandwiches for lunch - photo attached of our options at 1:30 pm
Not to mention the staff helping themselves to food while guests were dining
The lack of communication and sheer hostility from the staff when we asked basic questions was completely unacceptable. You pay a premium for all inclusive to enjoy flexibility and good service. Instead, we got repetitive food rigid schedules and aggressive service

Had a lovely 2 weeks here at the savannah the staff are AMAZING and 1 i loved the most was Ramon such a happy go jolly guy he got all the guests involved in activitys and made every1 feel so at home 10/10 from me Ramon 5 *

Had another fantastic 2 weeks at Savannah Hotel. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. Weather was very hot with only 2 heavy downpours in the morning.
Thank you once again to Beverley, Saneisha, Tiffany, Nadia, Elicia, Gabbie, Shanice, Omari, Maguel, Richard, Roger and anyone else I haven’t mentioned for being so friendly and looking after us.
Also to Jemel and Saviour who work so hard every day to keep the pool, beach and gardens clean and tidy. You do a brilliant job. Well done.

⭐ Very Disappointing All-Inclusive Experience – Savannah Beach Club
My experience at Savannah Beach Club in Barbados was extremely disappointing. I paid for an all-inclusive package, expecting the usual convenience and value that comes with an all-inclusive resort, but unfortunately, the experience did not meet those expectations.
One of the biggest disappointments was that there was no snack bar available, and I was also told that I had to pay for drinking water. When I raised the issue with the manager, I was told that the resort only provides one complimentary bottle of water upon arrival. For a guest who has paid for an all-inclusive package, I found this very disappointing.
What made the situation even more frustrating was that the booking was non-refundable, leaving me stuck with an experience that did not match what I believed I had paid for.
I strongly recommend that anyone considering staying here carefully confirm exactly what is and isn't included in the all-inclusive package before making a non-refundable booking.
Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not choose Savannah Beach Club again.

My original 1st time solo visit to Barbados was saved when I was originally booked in the sister hotel Sugar Cane Club Hotel and Spa.(SCCH) I arrived on the 21st Sept on a Virgin package holiday. As someone who has never been to Barbados I took the suggestion of the Virgin representative to stay at SCCH. I arrived there after a 1hr 40 min drive. I was tired and originally given a wonderful room. However, after 1 full day there, I was informed that there was construction work on a stairwell outside my room for the next 4 days. I complained and was then given a room which was the size of a box. I was so distressed and upset, that the receptionist named Justin was so upset for me , that he offered to move me to Savannah Beach Club (SBCC) for free. I was so happy when I arrived, I was given a beautiful room and was very happy. Unfortunately, the AC in the room was quite loud, but I didn't complain as I would just take what I was given and I had moved 3 times!. The head of maintenance, Randy, was so lovely and after I told him of the issues I had at SCCH, he wanted me to have the best time. He then offered me a free upgrade to another room- a suite which I stayed in for the remaining 7 days of my visit.
The staff at Savannah could not be more accommodating to me from the time I arrived to the end of my holiday. I was treated so well especially by the aforementioned brilliant Randy who couldn't do enough. I booked a 2 hour tour around the area for $200 Bajan Dollars, (which I felt was well worth it) by the amazing Jemel, who was informative, funny and couldn't be more friendly. As I was booked for BB only, I didn't eat at the hotel as a lot of the guests said the evening meal was not good at all. If I wanted to buy anything else, I could just go out to the front and catch a bus very frequent and cheap @ $3.50 to Bridgetown where there were other places to eat or I could book a delivery (which unfortunately was not free and quite expensive)
There was a free transfer to and from the beach in which Jemel would take any guest (pre booked) from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. The distance was approx 5 mins from the hotel by transfer or taxi if you wanted to stay longer.
The Pros :- Excellently located in ChristChurch area, lovely rooms, lovey decor. Excellent and lovely staff, near to Bridgetown and the airport.
The Cons- The breakfast was ok, could have been better. Quite expensive for return pick up to and return from Ostins ((like a version of Camden Town with lots of places to eat, Music, Arts and Crafts stalls) which cost $45.00 Bajan Dollars.
Overall, I would definitely stay at the hotel for the location, 15-20 mins from the Airport, 10-15 mins from Bridgetown. Lovely bright rooms with lovely decor. Seating right on the beach, which unfortunately is disappearing since the hurricane of 2024.but is lovely view when having breakfast . The nearby beaches, The Boatyard, Brownes, Pebbles based in Carlisle Bay are of the most beautiful places I have visited. And the staff (especially Randy + Jemel).
