Lovely outlook
Lovely hotel, a bit dated. Room was clean and bed comfy but very cold room. We had maintenance up 3 times who had to cover the vent in the wardrobe, still we were getting blasts of cold air even with aircon turned off! This was the biggest turn off for us, to keep warm we had to go out on the balcony. The staff are mostly friendly, but some in the Coffee shop were sour faced, the staff in the spa was very abrupt. I feel staff need more training if you have had a bad day keep it to yourself. We are not begging anyone for anything, and if you feel begrudged perhaps you should not be in hospitality. Other than that the Hilton holds a prime location, but there is room for improvement.

Very average hotel
The rooms are ok but the shower is appalling. The spray is directed at a corner of the cubicle and my husband kept hitting his arm on the disabled grip bar. There is no shower gel or bath robes. One afternoon we came back from the pool to find there was no hot water We had dinner in the beach bar and it cost over £120 for three drinks and two very average meals. The prices are extortionate and the Pina colada was disappointing. The gym is under construction and the make do substitute was clearly a last minute thought as they're hardly anything in it. On a plus side as it was our anniversary, staff left a lovely little cake for us in the room with a card. The hotel is walking distance from lovely beaches but you need a car to get around. The hotel beach is a bit rougher so you need to walk along the coastline for calmer water. All the staff are friendly and greet you when they see you which is nice.

Rude staff
Nice hotel really kind on reception. Bell man Swayne absolutely amazing - couldn’t do enough for us. Rude female staff on the bar upstairs and downstairs who definitely need more training on how to talk to guests. Unless you’re from Barbados or the Caribbean don’t expect good service. Certainly not representing the loving friendly nature that we’d experienced in Barbados up to that point.

Very clean hotel and nice.
Hotel is great very clean and super nice. The reason I didn’t give five stars because of concierge they seem they don’t like their job at all. They don’t provide enough information with big smile. Never seen concierge this bad ever. However, the hotel is very clean. The rest of the steps are amazing near of everything.

An Amazing Family Stay at Hilton Barbados
We’re currently staying at Hilton Barbados to celebrate our daughter’s first birthday, and I can honestly say this has been such a wonderful experience for our family.
The hotel itself is beautiful. Our room has been super clean, the staff throughout the property has been incredibly friendly, and everyone has made us feel very welcome. We still have two more days left, but I already know we’ll be looking forward to booking this hotel again.
What really made our stay special, though, has been the people . We’ve had wonderful experiences with the staff in different areas of the hotel, including the lighthouse and Sherriann ❤️ super nice , my daughter can't get enough spending time with her while we were at the restaurant .
And then there’s Robert 😎 he took the time to talk and interact with our daughter and showing affections , even though she’s only one year old, Sophia in the lobby restaurant a, Lisa for breakfast is fantastic full of good energy , the hostess not to forget the first when I checked in the lady was super nice asked if we are celebrating something and I think she gave us a really nice room❤️ , also chatting with Anthony in the coffee shop but from finance every time we saw each other took time to ask how we're doing ? Everyone honestly even though I don't have all the names down . Sara been was smiling from ear to ear 😀! Those little moments are what make a family vacation truly memorable.
We haven’t spent too much time at the pools because we're more beach people , but they look very good and well maintained . The water, the sand, and the towel service have all been great .
And I have to mention the coffee shop the Affogato is fantastic🍦service 👍! I’ve already had it multiple times throughout the day 😂
Overall, this has been a fantastic time at the hotel and a wonderful place to celebrate such an important milestone for us. Most importantly, our daughter Sara loved it ❤️, and seeing her so happy made the whole trip even more special.
We still have two days to go, but I already can’t wait to come back and book Hilton Barbados again .
