Brits on tour to the Caribbean!
Royalton Antigua with Diamond Club. Resort is like an oasis in the middle of nowhere!! All the public access properties are in superb condition with the exception of the main pool - some tiles need repair, but I’m sure in the off season that will happen as there is a keenness for things to happen. Main positives of the resort are the staff. My butler combo of Beverly and Marcus were so desperate to ensure everything for our stay was perfect that it was sometimes too much!! But in a positive way. They wanted to ensure we were booked into the theme restaurants and events and to take in the Antiguan hospitality. This was the same with the Diamond club lounge- always above and beyond. Food in the main buffet facility we found to with plenty of choice and always hot on each service be it breakfast/lunch or dinner, but that said we always arrived within an hour of opening. Again coffee/gelato lounge perfect, sports bar, perfect - apologies if I drink English Harbour too quickly !! Only negatives- Caribbean restaurant seems to be themed to the US palate - Don’t !! Scotch Bonnets are part of Caribbean life be proud and add them , also food was on the cold side, but venue is brilliant. Also issue with the plaster in the shower room falling from the ceiling - fixed within 48hrs - cannot complain, but Beverly thought it was the “end of the world” - It wasn’t!!! But that is her dedication. All in all, recommend the place . 4 Happy Brits
I would say altogether it is a 7/10 experience
The service for both food and drinks has been exceptional, easily a 10/10. Being part of the Diamond Club, we especially appreciated how prompt and attentive everything has been. Additionally, the entertainment team—particularly Maliki—has been wonderfully friendly, making our evenings engaging and the shows truly amazing.

Butlers Earl & Khem provided exceptional service and attention to detail. Highlight of the visit were their recommendations for things to do!

Week in an island resort
We just returned from a week at Royalton Antigua. An island we’ve never been too! Yes there are lots of mixed reviews on Royalton. At some point you have to realize everyone has a budget and we don’t all need everything. We need some down time to relax, reset and enjoy our time in paradise. Could things be better, maybe? Did it matter, no! The hotel is smaller then some we’ve visited and that was nice, less people, less wait time, more relaxation. Were they out of some things, sure it’s an island! Again didn’t matter. We had Dewayne & Danielle as butlers. Dewayne was funny and also quick to check on you daily and in passing if he saw you. Danielle was on only shift a few days for us. He checked in and if I needed something he was there to provide. The butlers made dinner reservations. I’m not picky I’m going to try them all here’s a general timeframe and I’m all good to go! If you don’t have a butler I heard the app only allows you to book dinners for 2. That would be problematic. Overall it’s our 2nd Royalton trip in 2 years. We also visited Planet Hollywood Cancun. Which was larger and a busier vibe but we went with more family members so we were busier as well. This was a beautiful beach and plenty of sun!

The food was delicious
The rooms has some issues but the food was amazing and the coffee shop and most of all the Chef keep checking on us when we come to the buffet and he make sure we got our local food when we needed it.
