When we got to the hotel we checked in and went to the room. The room had 4 beds in there and they were not the best. I then went in the toilet and bathroom it was dirty. There was rust around the toilet and my family were just disgusted. We then complained to the reception a they told us we had no more rooms. So I asked for a refund. He told us we could have gotten a full refund but we booked with booking and to go to them. Went to booking and then tried to contact the hotel to confirm we could get the refund they point blank ghosted me. I got £112 back from £650 that I paid. I would not recommend this hotel.
We had a lovely 2 week stay at the Tildi. The rooms and hotel were extremely clean and all you needed for a homiday trip. Maids cleaned daily if you liked. We ate dinner at the hotel a few times having gone B&B, and we were pleasantly surprised and impressed with the range and tastiness of the food. It was good value too, at around £11pp for main and pudding We especially enjoyed the local Moroccan white wine served at the bar - still trying to track it down in the UK. The pool area served very well priced lunches. Pizza was good particularly, at around £4 for a large 12". There was always a couple of sun loungers available, but not sure if this would be the case later in the summer, though 27 degrees was enough for us, sitting by the pool. Reception were helpful when asked about taxis and were happy to print out bus tickets for our trip to Marrakech. Why I have not rated 5......breakfast was adequate, and there was plenty. I would have liked more of the moroccan crumpet things and perhaps less pastry/sweet items and the coffee was a little odd and sweet for me and out of a machine, but it filled the morning gap until lunch. We would have liked to be able to sit at the pool bar in the evening for dinner, or some food and drinks, but this closed at 7pm, which seemed a shame as this would have been a nice area if utilised and lit nicely. Most staff we polite, but there was a slight feeling of some things for some staff being a but too much effort. Only a small amount, but it makes a difference when you save all year for a holiday, to feel welcome at your own hotel. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to stay there again, if we went back to Morocco.
Big Lee & Jack the lad visit to Morocco We stayed at the Tildi hotel for a 7 nights first thing is don't believe the negative reviews for a budget holiday the hotel and staff were excellent the rooms maybe a little dated were spacious! had a fridge air con was good large bathroom shower ok we were on the 4th floor and could still connect with the free WiFi (we took our firestick worked good) we stayed BnB fresh fried eggs omelettes and morrocon pancakes a couple of mornings on the hot options they served spicy sausages in a nice cherry tomato and onion sauce there was a cold buffet too with cheeses yoghurts cold meat etc one evening we paid ba very reasonable ( £12) to dine in the evening at the hotel( my son isn't very adventurous when it comes to food but he tried most of what was on the menu that night) the pool was clean free towels plenty of sun loungers the outside bar by the pool also had a menu for light lunches burgers salads pizza..... A local beer cost between 35 dh - 50dh rooms cleaned daily staff were friendly Would we return to the Tildi definitely (the only negative comment I would suggest that needs attention would maybe create more entertainment in the evenings the beach is only a few minutes walk the seafront and beaches were clean modern with an assortment of restaurants n bars (I personally would recommend eating at the Lebanese restaurant and the camel restaurant) we would score the hotel 8/10 the resort 7. 5/10
Hotel was as you would expect for a budget stay. Staff were really lovely and although there was a language barrier never had any issues communicating. Shower was excellent. Lovely views. Some traffic noise but not awful. Breakfasts were lovely especially the omelettes.
The customer service is very mediocre, especially the receptionists, who have a very arrogant attitude and don't even make eye contact to give you a proper welcome. The hotel does have many green areas, but the rooms are very basic with a tiny, enclosed bathroom. I I wouldn't recommend it when there are other options.
