Pleasant Hotel

Hotel Surroundings: Really pretty & well maintained gardens & pool area, plenty of bed, no sunbed wars here.

Snack Bar: Poolside snack bar fantastic, puzzas burgers, salads, many other dishes cooked fresh at very reasonable prices.

Room: 202, room itself is comfortable, spacious - note most rooms do NOT have balconies, small terrace not big enough for a chair etc. Mine was overlooking back, can be very noisy. My room was adjacent to next hotel and their balcony was directly able to see right into my room, there was males looking through & could see me sitting on my bed, Tildi could protect their guests privacy by tinting the glass doors from outside to prevent guests from adjecent hotel peering in their room.

Restaurant: I done half Board, as a solo traveller I wanted a back up of I didn't feel safe going out early eve which I did not for reasons stated below so I ate at the hotel. There was always something to find, several choices, couple of nights very samey altho then they have nights with multiple meat & tagine dishes, all really tasty, you won't go hungry. The male staff in the restaurant are amazing they truly are, they treat their guests like kings & queens no joke.

Staff: Staff honestly can't do enough for you, they are so so friendly, although I did encounter 2 not so friendly female receptionist at the start of my stay, I had not been allocted a room I had changed following my booking & got in touch with the hotel manager via email 3 months prior to my arrival, I had his email confirming "everything is set" Balcony & pool view room (see pic), despite showing this to the ladies, I felt they showed little compassion & asked me to return in the a.m. On enetering my room I was greeted by a hole in the ceiling with water dripping through, I went back down to report this & maintenence did come & place a small container above the leak in the ceiling to prevent further drips, however remained unsightly!. I returned to reception in morning about my room to be told by a male I would need to speak to the ladies. When I did this I found they told me off "We told you morning not 6pm" and again initially stated nothing they could do, I was made to feel as though I was an inconvieience, huffing & puffing they eventually showed me to a room with a pool view albeit no balcony with an extra 10E per night charge which I declined & remained in room 202 for the duration. I did have further interactions with the female staff throughout my stay which were much improved & very helpful so that made up for it, but this is an honest review.

Outside immediate vicinities the hotel keeps their outside apotless, although the rest towards beach & promenade in dirty, scruffy, flies everywhere, families sleeping in parks dont expect stunning beaches and promenades its filled with homelessness sadly and beggers, I did not feel safe, I did attemp to go out & walk altho I experienced what appeared to be a local male following me, I then observed him hiding behind a building waiting for me to pass through the pathway leading to Tildi, I had become aware & followed the road around where it was busier & thankfully avpided whatever this male had in store.

Overall Tildi provided me what I needed.

Awful hotel!

Stayed here in August. The room we had was terrible, on the third floor facing a wall. Further down was the ‘recreational room’, and overhead, a roof. The room had no real fresh air flow due to it facing a wall and an echo chamber of the ‘recreational room’. We were putting on damp clothes for a week despite having left them on what little windowsill we had to dry, due to there being no fresh air.

The room overlooked three other floors and eight other windows, meaning we were constantly in our room with the curtains closed because who wants people to be able to see them in the privacy of their room?

It is also incredibly noisy — you can hear everything around the hotel due to the location. Every door slam, so many conversations — it is ridiculous. We even asked to move a number of times and were told that there were no spare rooms. I know this to not be true due to speaking to another couple who had to threaten to leave the hotel before a different room was offered, and other guests had mentioned that they had passed several unused rooms on a number of days that they had been there.

Staff on the Reception were dismissive when we explained why we had asked for a change of room. It’s actually on the rules of the hotel that the quiet times are between 9pm and 7am, but these were not enforced. We were up at 3:45 on our third night to get security due to other loud guests. Security were incredibly helpful, the staff on Reception were not. Barely slept the entire time we were there. I would not recommend this hotel.

Nice Stay

Great location. Lovely friendly staff. Food ok. No entertainment if coming with kids. Not alot of atmosphere unfortunately. Rooms clean and basic. English news channels only (again thinking of kids). Definitely on the lower end of the 4* scale compared to other 4* I've stayed in in Agadir but if on a budget then it's good.

Very basic

Went for 10 days BB and was counting down the days until we could go home. Arrived quite late given a room on the road side that smelt of damp was dirty and had damp beds! Then the noise off the street started dogs barking, fighting and mopeds all night didnt sleep a wink. Went to reception the following day and told we couldn't be moved as it was fully booked. Had to get in touch with jet2 & they eventually got us moved 2 days later to a poolside room that was somewhat cleaner with no noise. Breakfast was very basic pastries were stale and had no bread to even make toast (they did have a toast machine) so on day 5 we gave up trying and just had a coffee everyday. No sunbed wars here so that was worth a star. Reception staff quite rude. Pool bar quite slow service but the pizzas were fresh and delicious. Barman in the lounge on the evenings was the best member of staff remembered our drinks and was so friendly. Outside of the hotel the street the hotel sits on is quite rough and as soon as we left the hotel homeless were approaching asking for money and that continued everywhere we went i even had children as young as 2 pulling at my clothes begging for money. Lots of stray cats and dogs literally everywhere. Cats even inside the hotel! The area is quite dirty. Husband was asked if he wanted to buy drugs every single day when we were out in the evenings! All in all not a nice place and would never return to Agadir!
