I was amazed by the tremendous changes in Agadir as I had visited 3 times before( 10 years ago). There are a lot of palms, flowers and green lawns. There are new roads and a lot of new block of flats. Agadir people very friendly and polite. But… I stayed at 4 star Royal Mirage Agadir all inclusive and had a warmhearted welcome by Fatima. But I was shocked by the old, stained non-ironed beddings and when I complained they changed them to the same once. The built in wardrobe/ closet was dusty with horrible unpainted walls and I didn’t bother to put my dresses in( I kept them on the second bed). When I complained , the cleaner dusted the floor of the wardrobe only. It looks they have shortage of towels: they take used ones in the morning but they bring fresh ones in the evening: problem with laundry.. My beddings haven’t been changed for the whole week, by the way. And my room wasn’t cleaned for the first three days at all. But upon my request they emptied the bin. There was no fridge but as soon as I complained they brought it but no drinks on all inclusive. I complained again and 4 x 330 ml bottles of water were brought in the room for the whole week. Every time you want some water, you need to go to the bar and they politely give you a small bottle or two, but if you want Fanta or Cola they give you just a glass. There was one cooler in the restaurant with drinking horrible water( even the waiters admit it). When you come for a meal there are no drinks which you can help yourself and you need to ask a waiter to bring you( one potion). I have never seen such” all inclusive “ hotel. The food was simple : 1 chicken, 1beef, 1 fish, 1 pasta, 1 rice, 1 potatoes, 1 cooked assortment of vegetables and a lot of salads and cakes, just what I like. There were no any entertainment in the hotel but there were reconstructions and building some new pools and restaurants. Not a nice surroundings. So, if you are prepared to ask for everything( even meal times - I was told to make a photo of restaurant door notice) ,have no access to soft drinks and water on all inclusive basis, to go to the banks or other hotels to change money , then this hotel is for you. I have a feeling that they don’t know what 4 star hotel should look life. The customer service is non existent there. The only positive thing is very polite staff with smiles on their faces.
Stayed at Royal Mirage Agadir recently and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.
From the first night, there was significant noise and light coming through a connecting door with another room, which made it very difficult to sleep. The issue was reported, but the room change was only arranged for the following day, meaning two nights were affected.
In addition, I found a cockroach in the bathroom, which raises serious concerns about hygiene standards. The toilet system was also malfunctioning and making loud noise during the night, including early morning hours.
While the staff offered a room change, the issues had already impacted the stay. Attempts to resolve the situation afterwards were unsuccessful, with responsibility being passed between the hotel and the booking platform.
Overall, the experience did not match expectations, especially in terms of comfort and cleanliness.
We stayed here for a week and overall the experience wasn’t anything special. The breakfast was disappointing as most of the hot food seemed like it had been reheated and reused from the previous day. On one occasion there were no plates or cups available, and when I tried asking a waiter for help, he ignored me and walked away. I had to call him several times before he finally stopped, but unfortunately he didn’t understand English. We had two rooms booked. The “clean room” sign was usually put up around 9:30am, but on some days the rooms were not cleaned until late evening. One of the rooms was not cleaned at all for three days, despite the sign being clearly displayed. Temperatures were between 35–40°C, and the air conditioning in one room never worked and for the other room it only worked for two days and were never fixed. The only positive thing about this hotel was that rooms were OK and the hotel was conveniently located close to the beach and restaurants. I also forgot to mention that the hotel has around 80 stairs to go up and down if you are walking to and from the beach, so it may not be suitable for people with limited or restricted mobility. Based on my experience i wont come back to this hotel again.
Lovely hotel close to all amenities, bank just behind hotel, staff helpful and polite, local beers and spirits are included and food well prepared and tasty. Bedroom was clean but basic, bed was comfy very clean. No fridge in the room. Air conditioning worked, as for the noise, it wasn't that bad, it is by a main road so if you're sensitive to traffic wear ear plugs at night. Lots to do on the seafront and lots of entertainment close by. Will happily come again. This is a budget hotel around 3 star and they are renovating, all in all a good bargain.
would not even give it one star. The hotel is atrocious. They give dirty towel, if you’re lucky you’ll get towel. I’ve told I have to wait till tomorrow to get fresh ones. I am on my honey moon and to think I can’t even have a shower. The cutlery, cups and plates are always dirty. The reception doesn’t pick up I’ve been calling them since Saturday and it’s Wednesday today and they’ve not once picked up. Their lack of communication is diabolical. The worst hotel I’ve stayed in so far. PLEASE AVOID AT ALL COST!!!. The toilet & sink have not been cleaned once!
