Just back from 9 days staying here with my family. We absolutely loved this hotel and were blown away with the beautiful gardens and how well kept they are. Very spacious hotel. Our rooms were spacious with lots of storage and a big bathroom with a great shower. The pools are great plenty of sun-beds and yes if you want prime positions you tended to need to go out early but we went out at 8-8.30 and plenty of beds but pool staff are so accommodating they will help you get a bed and move it to where you want it.to Pool areas are spacious and the pool looks well looked after. All the staff are great , very friendly, shout out to lovely barman Abdullah who worked on main bar in the evening.. so friendly! Drinks and food were great.. cocktails were lovely and a wide variation of food each meal times.. there were Moroccan dishes, speciality dishes and lots to choose from.. the dining areas are lovely and as an all inclusive resort we never struggled to get a table or find something to eat.. also drinks were great.. soft drinks, imported spirits included.. beer.. no complaints! Taxis outside the hotel about 50 dirhams into the town/ marina..we took one to the souk and the old Medina.. the taxi driver offered to take no money and waited for us then took us to another artisan area and didn’t take any money till he dropped us back at the hotel. Overall a most enjoyable holiday.. we all loved it and would highly recommend this hotel. It was amazing. Will definitely go back.
Had an amazing 2 weeks here. Hotel was very spacious, even at peak times no issues getting a table for food. Entertainment crew were always around creating a good atmosphere. Big shout out to Houssam who was probably one of the funniest entertainers I’ve ever met (and only 20 years old)! Beach is literally 10 steps away from hotel. Croco park was an amazing morning out and my ladies loved it especially when it feeding time for the crocodiles and the zip line. Amazing trip, would 100% go back.
Fantastic hotel staff were amazing especially the entertainment team shout out to Salma, Houssam and Paplo, they were all very good fun and always came round and had a chat and encouraged u to join in with the Pool activities and watch the evening show. Food was good lots to choose from normally all inclusive food can be very bland but this was not the case at this hotel everything we had taste to it. Good size pools the typical towels early on the sunbeds but staff around the pool will help u find a one that is free and will take it to the spot u want. Rooms were cleaned everyday, again the rooms were kept very clean good size rooms the only downside was there were single beds next to each other would have preferred a kingsize bed. Tea and coffee in room with bottled water that they keep topped up everyday and a fridge. We all enjoyed Agadir, the people the area especially along the beach front lots of bars and restaurants. All kept very clean. So would definitely recommend it hear and we would come back
This was the third time visiting the hotel. The hotel itself has dated. Food halls are too busy queuing for food only for it to run out and not be replaced within sufficient time. The hotel feels like it has started cutting corners and cutting staff. I feel a rejuvenation is required.
The entertainment team were exceptional and always kept spirits high. Hossaim was a great character he really was an asset to the team.
We stayed at this hotel as a group of 12 with ages ranging from 1yr to 70yrs, having stayed here on a few occasions previously. Sadly, the hotel appears to have declined and is in need of renovation. The hotel has the bones and layout to be very good however as it stands we would not return again.
The rooms are of a good size with plenty of storage space. Standards as would be expected for a 4 star hotel. The tea/coffee addition is great with good sized kettle and mugs.
The pools are well laid out but in clear need of repair with missing tiles and also in need of a good scrub. Lots of space to relax without being on top of other guests.
Sadly the food offering is what lets this hotel down for us - particularly the evening meal. The dining room is drab, dated and gloomy and, between 7pm and 8pm chaotic and noisy. Food often runs out. At all all-inclusives I have been to before, the food stations are all well spaced and not doubled up in offering. Here, the food is so closely displayed, large queues form around the servery as if you are waiting in a school dinner queue. People wait in lines and it’s really off putting, without trying to sound too dramatic. On a number of occasions I went to select food however returned to my seat as it was just too chaotic/ lengthy queues. This urgently needs investment; surely the management can see the obvious failings here. On a daily basis there was a lack of meat/fish offering and it became difficult to put together a meal. Food labelling is very poor and erratic. Due to the chaos it must be very hard to maintain hygiene at the stations.
One of our party saw a female guest ask the member of staff on the carvery stand what the sauce was like and she was allowed to stick her finger in the sauce pot on two occasions to taste it.
The entertainment/poolside team are very happy and engaging, but I do wonder why all the recent reviews of this hotel seems to focus on them rather than the hotel itself.
RIU - put some money into this hotel, it’s letting you down. It’s not the staff that are the problem here. Revitalise the restaurant in decor, lighting and servery layout, sort the pool tiles, paint and freshen up the breakfast/lunch restaurant - the walls are stained and grubby - then you would quickly change my opinion.
