Going to lay it out clearly below : Pros
- lots of sunbeds for size of hotel
- Gym had decent amount of equipment
- Animation team are very enthusiastic & friendly - no kids mini disco which is great.
- Live music in lobby bar before dinner which is nice
- Grounds kept very tidy & clean
- Lovely to be directly on beach and can walk far on the promenade - beware of the local street sellers
- Near the airport
- Very accessible for people with disabilities - ramps everywhere
- Asian restaurant was nice had sushi etc
- Pool staff very friendly and will help find a bed
Cons
- beds are quite hard so didn’t sleep well and woke up stuff
- No tables by the sunbeds so lots of ants as attracted by drinks (ants in the room too)
- Pools are quite cold but think due to Morocco being quite overcast
- Run down in places, same as any hotel. Pool tiles, toilets etc.
- Food labelling in restaurants is poor (people with allergies would struggle)
- Had a massage at the spa and the therapists had such long nails that it was scratchy
We were looking for a cheap 4* , 5 night stay, and this worked well. ☺️
Did a sunset quad biking excursion which was good also (booked online)

Average - wont be back
Spent 10m nights here in September, our first time to Morocco.
Hotel - hotel was a good size, not too big, not too small. It was beautifully clean, and reasonably well maintained. Our room was large, and had everything we needed. However, it is not well located, with no pharmacy, or supermarkets nearby. The shop in the hotel lobby sells designer cushions, expensive outfits, handbags and similar. Nothing you actually need, such as milk, a choice of sun creams, or paracetamol or insect cream. We did take a taxi to the marina one evening; the traffic was so bad we couldn't actually get to the marina, and ended up walking along the beach front. The few shops and restaurants there were run down, boiling hot, and not somewhere we would want to eat. We were made to feel unwelcome and overall we couldn't wait get back to the hotel.
The lobby was huge, with plenty of comfy seating, but we found it impossible to be in there during the evening, as there was no air con! Everyone was hot, sweating and uncomfortable - it was over 30 degrees outside, why was the air con was off? And it was definitely off, because we asked twice for it to be put on, and it was - but only for 20 mins, and then turned off again. So, we couldn't relax inside, and there was insufficient seating outside. Where to go?
Entertainment - pretty poor. We are not interested in day time activities, but hoped for something engaging in the evening. Most nights, the hotel animation team scrabble together some sort of dance, but it is very repetitive, and frankly boring.
We were so bored by 10pm, we went back to our room. It needs visiting acts, providing a range of shows for all ages, not just a load of teenagers dancing every night.
Food/Restaurants - breakfast and lunch were both really good. The main buffet was excellent, other than we struggled to get wine, I suspect as we had not tipped yet. The problem in both restaurants was the seating police; as a couple, we would always look for a 2 seater table. BUT, they were in short supply, and went quickly. So, on a few occasions we sat at a 4 seater table. We were bullied by the waiting staff for this, told to move (even though we were eating!), and made to feel like criminals.
Asian Restaurant - not bad, but food quality was low. The mini spring rolls were actually completely empty, no filling whatsoever!
Moroccan restaurant was APALLING. We were herded to a table, and forgotten. We had to go and find a waiter to ask for water and wine, even thought most seats were empty. It was boiling hot in there (again, no air con), and the food was terrible. Nothing was labelled, some of it was so tough I was unable to cut it even, and frankly it tasted awful. The desserts were dry and inedible. We, and other diners, left within half an hour.
I would say that the Asian and Moroccan food was much better in the main restaurant, and others agreed.
The majority of staff were miserable, unfriendly and made us feel like we were wrong for asking for a drink!
Overall, we had a good time - we loved the beach and the jet skis, but we would not return to Agadir or this hotel. Lack of air con, table policing, no Al a Carte restaurants, staff unable to raise a smile even and poor location meant this was not the hotel of our dreams, sadly

We have just returned from this hotel and were not impressed with the food in the main dining room ,it was greasy and not enough of English food ,there was nothing for children .Lunchtime in the snack bar - not enough snacks bits . The entertainment team work hard and were always trying to get guests involved. The rooms very tired and need updating, The pool areas are the best part of this hotel and the closeness to the beach. I wouldn’t rush to return to this hotel . The overall problem for us with this hotel was the food. We have been a Riu in Marrakesh and it was a much better experience

So arrived late evening . All closed up and no food . I don't count 5 biscuits in room as a snack.
So day one not so bad . Breakfast seemed ok but every day they burn the bacon . Food is st best luke warm and repetitive every day .
Easy to book the two restaurants. But never seen mashed potato in a Chinese.
Staff as a rule very polite . Would say the girls in pool area bar would be the most polite though.
Walkways at night a little dark so beware of the uneven pstgz
Pool area . Lots of broken and uneven tiles .
And the upper terrace area why is the furniture have that sticky feel (white napkins pic is when I wiped around door fram in hallway in room )
Really in need of some attention and makeover to fet it to a 4 star
After stopping at the sister hotel last year Takida beach this hotel is a strp above
And there they embrace there two local cats . Here they are treated like vermin
Hotel tip
Put a box out for us tourists to drop out left over holiday money . Nueter the cats . Flea and worm them and use them as a holiday maker draw . Us brits love animals

Poor cleanliness and run down hotel. Not 4 star
So I am normally wait until the end of my holiday to write up a fair and honest review. However not even 24 hours into my 10 night stay I have already encountered a problem which I have seen raised in previous reviews. That issue being ants and cockroaches in our room. It’s ridiculous the amount that there are and I am far from happy with this. I am yet to raise this with the hotel. The food is mediocre at best. The cocktails are awful. A 4 star hotel should not be serving pre made cocktails and adding ice. The floor tiles around the pool area are extremely sticky. I am currently laying here in the hotel bed which is like a rock. I normally like to write a nice review to show the hotel in a good light but unfortunately not even a day in and I am having to write this. Also I would never normally write anything like this or complain. I hope this helps. Tui really needs to review this hotel and the hotel management need to get a grip of the repeated issues raised as it’s not just a one off. I have attached screenshots of my videos which does not show the ant issue in its full extent but unfortunately unable to upload the video.
