Ok. I am currently here staying in a room directly underneath the lobby bar. The chairs screeching above us every night is unbearable. I advised the reception staff today but they didn't offer an alternative room and the screeching has continued. The chairs are being dragged from one part of the room to another.
Do not book a room overlooking the pool, the night time entertainment is beside the pool and goes on late.
There are 3 people in my room, my 12 year old daughter is treated as an adult by having to pay tourism tax. My 11 year old son does not qualify to get a shower towel. Two days in a row I have had to ask for an extra towel for him to use in the bedroom.
On check-in nobody explained to me how to get towels for use at the pool. You need either €20, £20 or 200MAD per towel in CASH! I brought no cash but its ok as there is an ATM in the lobby which is not free to use ( I have a revolut card loaded with MAD.)
The bed assigned to my son is a think mattress on a camp bed. This is not good quality. I booked a deluxe double and there is nothing deluxe. I found a cockcroach in the bathroom yesterday which I killed with a towel. When I discreetly brought it to reception to get a replacement (and extra towel) i got no apology. Maybe next time I will make a fuss.
My son hit his head off a USB socket when he was in his bed (as there is no head board for the child's bed) the front of the socket fell off. It happened on another socket on my side of the bed too. As I write this the screeching above me has become unbearable.
Good taking care of family in allegro Said & Hajar During this trip i never excepted to be more excited, i travel from Nigeria and my family travel from Manchester to meet me in agadir Morocco i arrive early and wait for my sweet family in the airport to explore the beach immediately.
We enjoyed our stay, the food was so good and lots of options to choose. Location is just perfect as it’s across the beach. There are lots of activities to keep you entertained as well. I would say book an all Inclusive to enjoy all the goodies of the hotel.
We had an amazing stay. The hotel is located only a 5min walk away from the beach and it has its own private section manned by a member of staff. Locals sell things on the beach but can’t access this area so there’s no pressure to purchase anything which was good being 2 females travelling. The hotel could do with some updating but generally is ok. The staff are super friendly and helpful and you feel welcome and safe walking around the shops and restaurants in the area, for which there are a lot. We had a great trip and I would recommend this hotel for the price and friendly service it’s more than I expected for the price paid.
If you are booking the Allegro Agadir purely for its incredible location, you won't be disappointed. Situated right in the heart of the action, the hotel is just a short, effortless stroll away from the stunning Agadir beach, the vibrant promenade, and plenty of local shops and cafes. Being able to step right out into the center of town is easily the best feature of this property.
Unfortunately, once you step inside the hotel doors, the experience takes a sharp downward turn.
The Good: We have to give credit where it's due—the rooms themselves are genuinely spacious. There was plenty of room to unpack and move around comfortably without feeling cramped. *The Bad (Food): The dining situation leaves a lot to be desired. The food in the main restaurant is entirely repetitive, offering the exact same predictable buffet options day after day with very little flavor or variety. (We skipped trying out the bar menu based on other recommendations, and frankly, after the restaurant experience, we didn't care to find out.) The Ugly: Sadly, hygiene is a massive issue here. The overall lack of cleanliness throughout the property is alarming. To make matters worse, we found insects everywhere-from crawling bugs in the hallways to unwanted critters making their way inside the rooms.
It's a real shame because a great location and spacious rooms should make for a fantastic holiday. However, until management steps up their housekeeping standards and fixes the pest issues, we simply cannot recommend staying here.
