Pros

• Room: The standard room was clean, comfortable and generally up to scratch, with all the facilities you would expect from a standard room.
• Comfort: The shower had great hot water and the beds were a good size and very comfortable.
• Lighting: There was good lighting throughout the room, which made it feel bright and practical.
• Space: The room was a good size and spacious enough for two people without feeling cramped.
• Staff & Entertainment: The animation team really made the holiday and were a definite highlight. The staff serving drinks were also fantastic — always polite, friendly and efficient, which made a big difference to the overall experience.

Cons

• Room: The room unfortunately smelt of sewage whenever the air conditioning was switched on, which was unpleasant.
• Room facilities: The coffee station was not replenished during our stay, and bath towels were also not consistently provided/replaced.
• Restaurant: Food could be quite cold if you didn’t arrive immediately when the restaurant opened. There also wasn’t a particularly wide choice of dishes.
• The cuisine/food options advertised in the app were not always what was actually available.
• Food hygiene/service: Shared serving tongs were used across different dishes — for example, the same tongs being used for chips and fish. This was concerning, particularly for guests with allergies or dietary requirements.
• Cups: Cups and drink facilities were rarely replenished. We had to ask most mornings for coffee cups and also had to request cups for soft drinks.
• Cutlery: Cutlery was not consistently replenished after tables had been cleared or cleaned, meaning we often had to find or ask for it ourselves.
• There were very limited options for crackers or similar accompaniments to have with the cheese.
• Evening entertainment: Despite the stated first-come, first-served policy, some guests were reserving tables several hours before the entertainment by leaving personal belongings on the seats and then returning much later. This meant other guests were unable to use the tables despite them being officially first come, first served. This could have been managed better by staff.
• Pool area: There was a lack of bins and ashtrays around the pool, which made the area feel less well maintained than it could have been.

Had such a fantastic time! It’s our second time here and we loved every minute! The entertainment team are absolutely amazing throughout the day and night! There’s always so much to do here! The hotel staff are very attentive and friendly! Will definitely recommend this hotel and it’s great for families!
